The staffs of the hotel are very warm, friendly, helpful and incredibly efficient. The location of the hotel is great. It is close to the train station that has a direct line to the airport, and is also very close to the Belvedere Palace and the botanic garden. The neighbourhood is also very safe and convenient, it has lovely restaurants and a DM, and supermarket is also onoy a few-minute walk away. The room is very spacious, well-designed and well-equipped. It has plenty of storage and wardrobe space, and every piece of furnitures are of great quality. The bathroom is especially great, well-designed, good ambience and with good quality bathtubs, shower heads, toilet and tiles. It really feels like home. The room is also very quiet, which made our stay very comfortable. The only major flaw is the old and not up-to-standard hair dryer, which was disappointing. The mattress can also be improved, as it also feels old.

price and location is ok because we are having trade show in Vienna International Center, while breakfast is nightmare during peak hours there's many tables not cleaned and obviously not enough hotel staff to manage during breakfast time. All other things are ok and we should come back to this hotel next time if we have trade show again.

the location is great! the food is excellent. the hotel is a maximum of 4 stars, the rooms are dirty, all the corners and by the bed are dirty, the cleaning is terrible, I had to argue and count the days with the cleaning supervisor so that the bed linen was changed once in 6 nights (they have one every three days). lamps are streaked and stained. When checking in, there was someone else's map of the city with personal notes in the room. I won't be back again.

Good breakfast, good selection of options/teas/coffees. Room was nice, but could have been cleaned a bit better (we found a hair and mug ring). We used the spa several times- you need to tell them an hour in advance before you want to use it, and on several occasioons they forgot to prepare it.

The location is not very near to the train station if you carry big luggage to walk around. It’s not inside the city as well but you can get to the city within 20 mins, so it’s acceptable. Room was spacious, bright and clean. The breakfast buffet selection is rather limited. However, they have the ala carte eggs menu free to order which saves the breakfast quality. Next, the negative points. The receptionist guy (in specs & suits) was not helpful (unfortunately, we didn’t get his name because the staff here do not wear name tags). We stayed for 3 nights and we asked the guy to help us book the rooftop bar and he failed to do so for every single night. First night he said it was fully booked and said it would be available the next day. Next day, he said the bar was fully booked again. Third day, he wasn’t around and we asked a friendly female receptionist to help check the availability and she successfully made the booking for us. We went up on our last night and the bar was pretty much empty. It was a disappointing service and experience from the reception guy considering the high level of customer service claimed by Andaz.

Room was big and clean. Very near to the main train station which is a plus point especially if you do have a train reaching Vienna late at night. Apartment is a less than 5 minute walk away. There was cutlery, pots and pans, microwave and bowls and plates available for use during our stay as well. Staff were friendly as well. Strongly recommend for those looking to stay in Vienna.

Tram and bust stop is also few steps away.
The Only inconvenience - there is no elevator on every floor and no one to help you with luggage. :( had difficulties to carry two heavy bags up and down on stairs. :(

As someone who’s traveled extensively, I’ve seen my share of beautiful hotels. Many shine on the surface, but very few have what this place has a soul. And that soul comes from the people.
What struck me most during my stay wasn’t just the elegance or the comfort. It was the warmth, the attention to detail, and the sense of care from every single person I met. From the housekeepers to the receptionists, the breakfast staff to the management, every interaction felt meaningful.
In the hotel industry, teamwork is everything. It’s like the gears of a watch. Every single cog, no matter how small or large, plays a vital role. If one is missing, the clock stops ticking. And at The Ritz-Carlton, every cog turns perfectly.
Breakfast, for instance, was an experience I won’t forget. Their Eggs Benedict was the best I’ve ever had, but it wasn’t just about the dish. It was the way it was served, with care, with pride, and with the intent to make my morning special.

PPengguna TetamuI couldn’t be happier during my three nights of stay at the Intercontinental Vienna. I was given an early check in upon arrival after a tiring long haul flight. The front desk staff was so warm and helpful, giving me all the tips to browse the city area. The location of the hotel couldn’t be better as the Metro station is directly opposite to the hotel entrance. The breakfast was awesome with good quality food which fed me so well that I didn’t need a meal for the day until later in the afternoon. I want to specially mention the nicest staff at its bar who not only provided excellent service but showed their warmth and care to their customers. During Xmas day, after my dinner at the bar, one of the staff kindly ran to the life to give me a plate of chocolate biscuits to wish me a merry Christmas. I was so touched and want to use here to express my thanks to them and to that particular staff. I wish I had his name ! Overall, I throughly enjoyed my stay there and will not hesitate to come back if I ever visit Vienna. It is the most value for money place I have stayed.

JJTSydneyBooked this hotel for 2 nights in Vienna. Location wise, it's not the most convenient. It is not within walking distance to either the main train station or the city center. The closest metro station is about a 5-7 minutes walk. It is predominantly a residential area but there are some good and cheap eateries near the metro station. The hotel is part of a sports club (hence the name Sportshotel). There is a restaurant in the hotel which serves great food at reasonable price. The hotel also has a sauna which is free for guests of the hotel to use but I haven't tried it.
The room itself is quite spacious with the usual amenities minus a kettle (so can't make coffee or tea in your room)! Not sure whether this is typical for all hotels but other hotels I've stayed in neighboring countries all have kettle. It is very clean with daily cleaning. It has a big window which gets quite a bit of sunlight and a safe to store valuables.

PPengguna Tetamu早餐不錯，服務很好，工作人員態度很好，位置很好，步行離火車站衹有10分鐘。但是房間沒有冰箱，問賓館要1杯熱水，餐廳收費4.5歐元，天價熱水，衹有1杯，第二杯再付4.5歐！元！
