Hotel Biscay dengan Gim

Whilst the facilities of the room are good the communication is absolutely woeful. We tried for 3 days to contact the property after they sent the pre-registration email through ALL of their channels - email, Whatsapp and phone call with not one response. It came to the day of arrival and with no response we had to try via Trip.com and finally got to live chat with a person who then followed up with the hotel. Needless stress for us that could have been avoided with a simple reply. Whilst we had an enjoyable stay the public areas are very dark (the walls and ceiling are painted a very dark grey) and similarly in the bathroom of the room - seemed a very odd colour choice. Also, we could smell what others were cooking in their rooms. Finally, (not the hotels fault) but we had noisy neighbours in the room above and as the floors are timber we could here them (or their kids) making noise til 1 am. Overall, disappointed.

Rooms are incredibly spacious and comfortable. Location is perfectly located to easily walk to the Guggenheim, old town and a metro stop very close by. Plenty of shops and coffee/breakfast/brunch places close by. Staff are also lovely.

Highly recommend this extremely well lovated and modern hotel. The staff are fabulous and highly professional. The rooms are spacious and very practical. The location is right in the middle. You can walk to the train station, to the old shopping area... You are 15 minuti away by tram to the Guggenheim. Thank you again for such a beautiful stay - will definitely come again.

Me alojé en el Axel Hotel Bilbao y quedé muy satisfecho con mi estancia. El hotel cuenta con sauna y jacuzzi, y además tiene una piscina en la azotea que es perfecta para relajarse. El check-in es a partir de las 15:00, pero como la habitación estaba disponible, me permitieron entrar un poco antes, lo cual agradecí mucho. El personal fue muy amable en todo momento. Sin duda, una experiencia muy positiva. ¡Volvería a alojarme aquí!

Nice facility. Elderly and disabled travelers should know that it’s up a hill and about 10-15 minutes walk from the metro station. The area has many small cafes, restaurants, and shops. There are tourist attractions close by, but the overall vibe is not touristy; just the rhythms of people going about their lives.

The hotel room is very spacious with great comfort beds. The front desk staffs are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in walking distance to many of the travelers spots, cafes and restaurants nearby, and also close to Abandon train station to other Spain cities.

There were 2 things which were not in line with my expectations: The window in the room was blocked since the handle was removed, so we could not open the window for fresh air or emergency The airconditioning was very poor. Even when leaving it on, it took hours before the temperature came down from 26 degrees to 23 degrees. This is too high for sleeping. Regards Maurice Lansu room 217.

Choose the hotel for its proximity to the Intermodal bus interchange. We walked to all the main tourist attractions from the hotel. Bilbao is a very walkable city. What sets this hotel apart is the friendliness of the staff. The front counter team is genuinely friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Noemi who went out of her way to help us and gave advice on airline lost luggage. The room is spacious for our needs. The king bed is super comfortable, with just the right firmness. Linen is plush and pillows are fluffy. It has a simple yet functional tea-making facility in the room. The room came with USB charger by bedside, which is essential for today's travellers. We love the bathroom. Well-lit, full-size shower with strong water pressure. You will find the basic amenities (Toothbrush etc) in the bathroom. The cleaner did a good job with the room. The hall and public areas are all spotless. Judging based on the interior, the hotel might have been refurbished not that long ago.

The hotel itself is great, and I especially appreciated how kind and helpful the Colombian receptionist was. However, my experience with the service was disappointing. I was staying for business, and although it was a bank holiday, I needed to use an iron before an important meeting. I had to wait 45 minutes, and when I called reception again, I was told that, following the housekeeping staff’s advice, they could only provide one after 10 a.m. I explained that I was working and was already running late for my meeting. Thankfully, the receptionist eventually brought me the iron himself, and I really appreciated his help. Overall, a nice hotel, but the situation with the iron was unnecessarily frustrating—especially for a business traveller.

чудесный отель! чисто, уютно, возможно не очень новый (в номере заметны погрешности с мебелью), но все очень симпатично. жаль в номере нет тапочек. но есть зубные щетки, бритва, расческа, вкусное по запаху мыло,шампунь, бальзам, лосьон для теля. остановка на автобус до аэропорта в 2х минутах, метро в 4х мин. Всё близко и доступно. На ресепшене чудесная русская девушка Мария, подскажет, расскажет и нарисует на карте куда пойти и что поделать) передаю Благодарность и Привет🩷 до океана добраться 11 станций метро и 20 минут на автобусе. Соседняя дверь от отеля ресторан, очень вкусный осьминог буквально за 10 минут был готов. Рядом парк (там показывали финал Fifa) в Общем- КАЙФ! Бильбао прекрасен! Спасибо😍
