Hotel berhampiran Osterholzer Wald, Haan

There was no hot water in room 301 to take a shower, it was just like warm. Also when opening the room door, somebody would see the main bed from the lift, which is not appropriate. Everything else was great, especially the nice breakfast.

Kurz entschlossen einen Tag im Bergischen Land verbracht. Das Hotel das ich gebucht habe passt von der Optik genau in diese Region. Gemütlich, manche würden es rustikal nennen. Mir gefällt es jedenfalls. Auf der HÖhe der Zeit ist schon das Checkin. Man gibt den vorher zugesandten Code ein und schon ist mit dem Betreten der Checkin erledigt. Das freundliche Personal hat Zeit für etwas Smalltalk, da der ganz SChriftkram wegfällt. Die Zimmer sind wie das Haus: gemütlich und vor allem frisch renoviert und topsauber. Man kann es gut in den Zimmern aushalten. Mich trieb jedoch in die geschmackvoll eingerichtete Lounge, wo man den Tag gern mit eins zwei Getränken ausklingen lässt. Der nächste Morgen ging es dann in den modern eingerichteten Frühstücksraum. Schon auf dem WEg dorthin wird man von dem GEruch des gebratenen Bacons angezogen. Ob Vollkornbrot oder Croissant, Käse oder Wurst. Alles ist lecker, ausreichend vorhanden und wenn man den Preis fürs Frühstück in Verhältnis zum Angebot stellt ein ”Schnapper” Da Auschecken geht übrigens genauso easy wie das Einchecken. Einfach durch die Tür ins Parkhaus und ab gehts. Keine Schlüsselabgabe-einfach wohltuend.

A la ocasión de la feria K-2022 buena parte de mi empresa se ha hospedado en este hotel. Situado a 45min hasta 120min según el tráfico matinal de la feria, presenta una opción a buen precio. Siempre cuando se va en coche. En transporte públicos la cosa es más complicada, el trayecto puede superar las dos horas. Habitaciones funcionales, camas confortables, baño con ducha (que aprecio siempre) pero no hay espejo de aumento para las señoras. El parking está limitado, más de una vez hay que buscar aparcamiento por el barrio, pero suelen haber sitios no demasiados alejados. La zona es tranquila y el hotel está bien insonorizado. Buen desayuno, calidad correcta y buen abanico de productos convencionales. Los alérgicos a la leche o al gluten pueden tener problema así que los diabéticos; tenerlo en cuenta. No ofrece cena pero hay un distribuidor para emergencias con algo para picar. El servicio es muy amable y eficaz, y limpieza correcta en su conjunto.

The room in the hotel is new and clean. You also have good view of the river. If you drive with car, you can park it in front of the hotel with no fee.

Hotel geboekt bij Hotelspecial met een zwembad.Bij aankomst bleek dat het zwembad gesloten was. Dit was niet vermeldt op zowel de site van Hotelspecials.nl als de website van het hotel. Ze wijzen met de vinger naar elkaar maar nemen geen verantwoordelijkheid. Zijn afgescheept met een kaartje voor de zweefbaan. Tevens kun je overdag en s/avonds geen gebruik maken van de lounche (om wat te drinken) ivm. geen personeel. Er stond een automaat waar je drinken uit kon halen. Zelfs een kop koffie was met veel pijn en moeite te krijgen. Het enige positieve is een mooie kamer met goede bedden en een goed ontbijt.

I have just returned from a 4 night stay at this hotel, i read many reviews of it on Tripadvisor before i went. If i mention my negative first, at the time of my stay i think there were at least three coach parties staying, all from the UK , the first breakfast had a great choice even bacon , but not sausage (a kind of meatball alternative was there) and generally speaing the breakfast was OK bearing in mind i booked in the Knowledge that it was a continental breakfast deal. The second morning NO bacon, it was clear many of the UK folk were dissapointed that there was no bacon and i heard requests to the kitchen staff for bacon again the rest of the week and indeed it was commented that bacon would be on the rest of the week IT NEVER MATERIALISED, i know many were dissapointed at this , after all its a staple breakfast fodder for the UK . i didnt like the other options , but i did book not expecting a warm UK breakfast so i supose i have no reason to complain....but if the hotel staff are reading please note that english people like a warm breakfast :- bacon , fried egg , proper sausage, baked beans, warm tomatoes Having read other reviews of the hotel i was not expecting much ,just a place to sleep at night , however in reality the hotel was fantastic, large rooms, (a tv but no english chanels) good facilities, nice and clean and with friendly staff , i would certainly recomend the hotel and its facilities. There is some nearby(walking distance) thing such as a Aldi, a McDonalds, a pizza place and an Ameican diner , a bus stop directly outside the hotel very regular busses, i cannot understand many of the negative feedback this hotel has got on here , they are un deserved in my opinion , regarding the heating YES it was VERY WARM , i opened a window, issue solved thank you for a lovely stay and all the best to the staff

We stayed in this hotel for five nights and it was a lovely vacation. The lady on the reception desk , Nami, was very helpful when we arrived and she found us a room overlooking the Schwebebahn, as I had requested. The room was fine with a kettle and coffee and tea. There were plenty of electrical sockets which was good for recharging. Ther was a good sized shower in the bathroom, with plenty of hot water. The buffet breakfast was delicious with cereals, cold meats,cheese, eggs and fruit and yoghurt along with various bread rolls and croissants. Also fruit juice and coffee/tea. Free Wifi was also available. One night we had drinks in the bar and again the staff were very friendly. The hotel is located very near to the Schwebebahn stop and also close to the main station in Wuppertal. Everything in the town was easily accessible by foot. I would vertainly stay there again.

Very clean new and modern. The hotel was very quiet which was nice. Unfortunately they could not offer food in the evening and had to rely on take away food. Thankfully the hotel staff were helpful in advising where to order food from. Also very helpful on my check out day as i couldnt work at the office I was given late check out which was great.
