Heart Anchor Hotel (Xining Caojiabao International Airport)

Heart Anchor Hotel (Xining Caojiabao International Airport) ★★★★

📍 About 140 meters northwest of the intersection of Xihe Expressway and Xingguang Road, Haidong

"This hotel is near airport and they provide free ride to airport. One draw back is that restaurants/shops near that area are closed after 6 or 7pm."

Haidong Xingyusen Hotel (Xining Caojiabao Airport Ping'an) ★★

📍 No. 235 Ping'an Avenue, Ping'an Subdistrict, Haidong

"The cleanliness and facilities were average, but the location and price were its advantages. The room had no air conditioning and was poorly ventilated; opening the window to the street made it very noisy, and the bed was hard, making it difficult to fall asleep at night. Breakfast was at the restaurant across the street; a bowl of noodles cost 8 yuan, but the room rate was increased by 20 yuan, so it was better to just buy it directly. Also, the front desk didn't proactively offer breakfast vouchers; while we were having breakfast, guests kept coming to the hotel asking for them, which was quite inconvenient."

📍 No. 18 Jingguan Avenue, Linkong Comprehensive Economic Park, Haidong

"The hotel is quite good. We arrived in Xining at 10:15 pm and made an appointment to be picked up at the airport in advance. The pick-up staff was very helpful. As soon as the plane landed, they contacted us by phone to inform us of the waiting location. We arrived at the hotel in about 10 minutes. To our surprise, the hotel upgraded us to an executive suite and prepared snacks when we arrived in the room. It was very touching and warm."

Qihang Express Hotel (Xining Caojiabao Airport Branch)

"The first time I went to Xining, I decided to book a hotel at that time, but I didn't expect it to be so satisfactory. I thought it would be very hot, but I didn't expect the room to have a separate air conditioner. The big brother who picked up the plane was super good. It was quick and neat. When I arrived at the hotel, I helped me carry my luggage. The front desk also upgraded the room for me. The hotel is clean and hygienic, very cool, and the light rain in the middle of the night is sunny in the morning. The front desk lady is able to do it, I have to send things back, and she will help me make an appointment with SF Express. Very good hotel, go again next time."

"I booked a hotel in California, but they took me to the Azure Hotel in the middle of the night. The hotel service was poor. I had communicated with the hotel beforehand about airport transfers, but because I used a coupon from Ctrip, the hotel said the cost of airport transfers was too high for my booking and refused to provide the service. Ctrip customer service didn't address the hotel's issue, but offered me 1000 Ctrip miles, which I refused."

Haidong International Hotel ★★★★★
"The hotel's location is super close to the airport, only an 8-minute drive for airport drop-off. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helped upgrade us to a suite, truly showing the warmth of the Qinghai people. The only downside is that the hotel is a bit out of the way, with hardly any food delivery options. After a long day of travel, I didn't feel like going out to eat, so I just dined at the hotel. Overall, it was okay."

HanTing Hotel (Xining Caojiabao International Airport Ping'an District) ★★★
"This hotel boasts an excellent location, directly across from an open stadium. To its left, there's a riverside promenade, and to its right, a public park. With a food street and Hualian Supermarket nearby, it's incredibly convenient for leisure, dining, and shopping. The rooms are simply decorated with a practical layout, featuring plenty of useful counter space and no unpleasant odors. The bedding, towels, and bath towels are very clean, and the mattress and pillows are soft and comfortable. The staff are warm and polite. The hotel offers complimentary airport pick-up and drop-off, and the driver was very courteous and proactively helped with our luggage – we really appreciate that. The hotel breakfast is excellent; although the variety isn't huge, it's very practical and ensures you're well-fed and satisfied. The hotel also has central air conditioning. All the staff are very enthusiastic and polite, the bathroom has a wet/dry separation, and the hot water pressure is great. The only minor drawback was the disposable slippers, which were a bit noisy and felt very plastic-like. Overall, this hotel surpasses most 3-star hotels, offers incredible value for money, and is highly recommended."

"I took the train from Delingha back to Xining and flew back to Shanghai the next day. Because it's close to the airport, I chose this hotel again. (I also chose this hotel for the outbound trip; I've reviewed it separately.) This time, there were no misunderstandings. The room was clean and spacious, making it easy to organize my luggage. ^_^ The front desk clerk also booked me an airport transfer for the next day. (I recommend leaving a little extra time when asking for the transfer time; the time suggested by the front desk is a bit short, so if you're checking luggage, leave more.) All in all, this hotel is perfect for an overnight layover. It's a great value. The staff are all very nice, and the driver who picks me up is also very nice. 👍"
