"Location: Great location, super convenient for getting around. Free parking downstairs. Facilities: For the price during the May Day holiday, this place is incredible! The facilities and equipment are even newer than the Hilton, and it's cheaper too. However, the smart toilets in some rooms don't flush – they said that's just how they are. Service: It took two hours and countless calls to finally get through to them once. They said there was a fault and they were fixing it. After I added them on WeChat, they responded very quickly. Breakfast: Not a huge variety. By 10 AM, a lot of the dishes and drinks were gone, and no one refilled them. Besides a cleaning lady, there were no staff members overseeing the area. Eating a bowl of noodles was enough, I guess, but don't expect too much from breakfast. But the noodle lady really managed her station well and also handled the fried eggs 🍳. She would double-check with customers who wanted more noodles or different varieties. This was so much better than the noodle lady at the Hilton I stayed at a couple of days ago, who was rude and condescending. The noodle lady definitely earned bonus points for breakfast! I'm totally hooked on this brand now! Just a heads-up, the Huazhu Club prices aren't as cheap as on Ctrip. 😆"

"The room was clean and tidy. Facilities: Complete and hygienic. Environment: Elegant and comfortable. Service: Relatively good. Transportation: Convenient. Downstairs is Guochao City, which has many snacks and a Laoba Tea house. The hotel is located above a shopping mall with many restaurants. There's also a large supermarket across the street. Overall, the location is excellent, making shopping, dining, and getting around very convenient and quick."

"The environment is great. I chose Kaiyuan Mingting for my trip to Haikou. When I arrived, it happened to be check-out time for a tour group. The front desk staff managed to calm down the group guests while quickly checking me in, without any delay. The room was really clean, the floors were sparkling, and the sheets and duvet covers were spotless and smooth. After exploring Qilou Old Street in the evening, I was so tired I just collapsed into bed. The soundproofing was excellent; I couldn't hear a single thing from the hallway, and I slept soundly until morning. Breakfast had hot congee, pastries, and fruit – a really satisfying meal. I had a comfortable stay and a great time on this trip to Haikou."

"I was impressed by the late check-out service of this hotel. The check-out time can be extended to 16:00, which is undoubtedly a huge convenience for those of us who need more time to prepare to enjoy the last time in the city. As Christmas approaches, the Christmas tree decorated in the hotel lobby has a festive atmosphere. When the front desk saw us with our children, they were very considerate and upgraded us to a parent-child room for free, as well as providing children's toiletries. The hotel's breakfast is also very good, with a wide variety of choices that both children and adults love to eat. The free airport pick-up service provided by the hotel is very convenient. Whether I arrive late at night or depart early in the morning, the hotel's private car is always waiting on time, making my journey more relaxed and enjoyable. You will definitely stay at this hotel next time you come to Haikou!"

The pool has reasonal size for a non-peak period stay. My kids enjoy whenever they are in the pool.. Our room was spacious, perfectly clean, and aircon is ongoing even when we are not in the room. "This was by far the best stay I’ve ever had in Haikou. First, the staff were absolutely amazing. I messaged the day before to ask if there was a cake shop nearby, since it was my wife’s birthday. When we arrived at the hotel, they not only provided a cake for us free of charge, but also upgraded our room to a top-floor sea view room—completely complimentary. The room itself was spotless and beautiful. The swimming pool was a short walk from the hotel, but very nice, and the hot springs and fish spa were truly relaxing. We also tried the buffet for just 198 RMB per person, and it was well worth it. The food was excellent—the sashimi was fresh, beer and wine were included, and the variety was broad. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Overall, this was an amazing experience, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Haikou."

"As a partial Hainanese local, I chose the Haikou Marriott for a staycation this time. Perhaps because I'd read reviews, my overall experience exceeded expectations. The hotel is right by the West Coast, and opening the balcony door reveals ocean views. The executive lounge also offers expansive views, making a light meal and an evening breeze particularly enjoyable. The public areas are designed compactly and cleverly. One side hides a large, separate adult pool area. The children's area has pontoon bridges, waterslides, and hot springs. Tropical vegetation is scattered throughout, exuding a relaxed resort vibe. Check-in was very efficient, and the front desk staff were friendly throughout. Our butler, Michelle, added me on WeChat in advance and was quick to respond and resolve any issues, which was especially valuable during the busy May Day holiday. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was just right in terms of firmness, and the bathroom was spacious. It was exceptionally quiet at night. The humidity is very high this season, so I communicated in advance to arrange for a dehumidifier and air purifier to combat the dampness. The room stayed very dry. A tip: before sleeping, empty the dehumidifier and set it for about five hours to avoid being woken by the full-water alarm at night. Breakfast offered a rich variety. You could tell the hotel was eager to satisfy all guests' tastes, from the children's dining area with local specialty noodles and soups to Western pastries, various yogurts, and porridge. Replenishments were also very timely. The location is very close to the duty-free shop. After dinner, you can take a taxi for a quick visit when it's less crowded at night. I was especially happy with the activities during the May Day holiday. The bonfire party on the first day and the Nature Forest Kids' Camp activities were all free to attend, almost as if they were tailor-made for my child! Woodworking, creative cardboard crafts, water fights, pottery – teachers Grape and Dolphin were incredibly patient. My child was so busy with classes at the hotel, he didn't want to go anywhere else, haha! The hotel's travel photography was also a pleasant surprise. The Hanfu styling was excellent value for money; they patiently spent an hour and a half on my makeup and hair. Any corridor in the hotel provided a grand backdrop for photos, and the final results were excellent. Definitely worth trying!"

"Highly recommend the Renaissance Hotel, especially Tracy, the butler! She helped us arrange everything perfectly even before we checked in. The room view was absolutely stunning, and it was incredibly quiet – perfect for staying with kids during an exam. Throughout our stay, whenever we contacted Tracy, she responded immediately and helped resolve any issues. Her service was truly outstanding! We'll definitely choose to stay here again next time."
