Ulasan Catba View Hotel

We stayed for 2 nights here in the top floor family room. We had a nice large terrace facing the mountain. The room was spotlessly clean, the mattress was good and there was enough lighting all around. Plenty of free bottled water was provided. The bathroom was huge with both a shower and bathtub. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with pancake and pho and fresh fruits. The service was very good, whenever we had a query, we were promptly addressed via WhatsApp with the owner. The location is just right for us, who want to be a few mins walking distance to the main street and restaurant and is quiet enough away from loud music from the tourist bars and restaurants. We highly recommend this place for anyone staying in Catba. Thank you to the owner!

Location: this hotel is located on a parallel road from the main road. To access the main road from the hotel, cross the parallel road, turn left and there is a short stair down to the main road. This stair is unlit at night, but still visible. It may not be safe for single women at night. Service: the staff are really amazing. Always willing to help. Laundry service provided by the hotel is good (40k VND/kg). Although the breakfast is the same each day, the meals are delicious. There are tours to Lan Ha bay which the hotel can organise. Room: the interior size of the room with balcony is same as the room without balcony. The room without balcony has windows that open to the stairwell. If you book this room, the air circulation may not be good.

Nice hotel well located near the center but still in a quiet area. The staff were really welcoming, friendly and professional. The breakfast was good with a wide choice of Asian and western style food. Overall, really satisfied with my stay I would recommend it to friends and family.

Super friendly staff, the room was very clean and spacious. Very good water pressure. It was the best hotel I've been to in Vietnam. Will certainly book this place again next time I visit Cat Ba Island.

The hotel is located close to the most of the restaurants, the receptionist and staff are kind and friendly, rooms were clean. Welcome drinks and wet towels are served while you check in.

I had a lovely stay in this hotel. Upon arrival, the manager upgraded my room to give me a Mountain View with balcony, which was appreciated! He offered to set up tours and a motorbike for me. He also set up my transfer to Ninh Binh. The breakfast was small, but very good! The location is in the main part of town, but you have to walk through a small alleyway to get to this street. I felt safe as a solo female traveler, although it was quite dark. The location was nice and quiet for sleeping and the air con worked phenomenally.

We were really happy with the hotel, the room and the service! The room has a huge bed, good bathroom. Cleaning service was good. Towels for the beach are provided. The breakfast was good and had a big enough variety (pancakes, bacon, egg, fried noodles and rice, pho, fruits and juices, …) The extra services were also really helpful. We did laundry service (40k per Kilo), booked a scooter (100k per day), booked a day boat cruise for the bay and our bus back to Hanoi directly at the reception without any trouble. The reception manager had good enough English and was really helpful. He gave us a cold drink when we arrived and gave us a short intro into the surroundings. We also got extra water and juice when we once waited in the lobby. Thanks! Also the rest of the staf was friendly and helpful. The also tried the best to support us: when we were not super happy with the boat tour (did not fully match the description) he dealt with the company and gave us a good discount. Also when we had the scooter only for a few hours, he gave us 50% off.

Good location, clean rooms, though some have windows into inner of the building , good breakfasts, extremely friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay very much.

All good! Lovely staff, clean and good Wi-Fi. Nice choice at breakfast quiet and central location. Easy walk up the slope even with our backpacks… only took a couple of minutes and not steep at all!

For the price you pay this hotel is excellent. The staff are friendly and super helpful. Located in Catba town it is just a short walk to the restaurants and bars at the front and about 20 minutes to Catco 3. The rooms are very clean, spacious and look almost new. The breakfast was also solid with a good enough range of choices.
