Authentic Japanese style hotel that own a hot spring underneath the property. The hotel provides public bath, but private baths are also available for reservation. Breakfast comes in a a personal set and is delicious. The room facing the beach front view hearing sound of the ocean is serene and peaceful. Staff are all friendly and professional.

Wow, Wakamatsu Onsen Hotel is really a treasure place! 🏞️As soon as you step into it, it's like traveling to another world. The hot spring water is slippery, and you feel like you are being gently embraced when you soak in it~ 💖 The room is also super comfortable, and every detail makes people feel the warmth of home. Coupled with delicious Japanese food, it is a perfect place to take a break! I want to go again next time~ 😍

The service is very good! The Japanese fruit served at check-in is delicious. The housekeeper Miku who received me was attentive and considerate. Thank her very much. I went there alone. It was windy and rainy on the first night. I was a little scared to stay in a 16-tatami room by myself. I didn't sleep well all night. The next morning, my ***** was swollen. I asked Miku for an ice pack to cool it down. She was a little worried when she heard that I was scared. You need to make an appointment in advance for the private bath. If you make an appointment too late, the time you can choose may not be very good. Please note that the private bath can only be used for 45 minutes each time. You must go to the public hot spring during the day. There is a small outdoor pool with a view of the sea. The hotel is quite old, so some facilities are a bit old. The sound insulation is not very good, and you can hear the sound of the surrounding guests walking. When the weather is clear, the view in the room is very good.

I chose the quaint hotel in the main building. It is all wood and very textured, but there is no noise problem. I like it very much. It is just that you need to walk up to the second floor, which may be a little challenging for the elderly. The set meal is very refined and the portion is large. I really can't finish it. I couldn't finish my favorite sashimi. The private soup is very good and free for the first time. The only downside is that the sea view is a little disappointing because it is summer and the bare beach is not beautiful. I can only see seabirds. It seems that the snowy sea view in winter is more beautiful.

The service of the hot spring hotel is very good and the scenery is great. If you come in the off-season, the hot spring is reserved and you can make a private bath appointment. The breakfast is very rich. It is just a short walk away by tram. It is okay to take a taxi from the train station for half an hour. It is worth recommending. It is a three-day and two-night experience. Very pleasant😀

It was recommended by Xiaohongshu and was priced at 2,500. The overall feeling is that it is not worth the price and is even a bit of a scam. The details are: 1. When I made the reservation, I booked a twin room without breakfast and paid 2,500 (50,000 yen). However, I didn’t pay attention to choosing one person to stay in. When I got to the hotel front desk, I was told that if I wanted to add another person, I would need to add 30,000 yen (1,500 yuan). ), I was so confused at that time that I really thought it was my fault, so I agreed. When I went to the room, I saw that there was no difference in room type or service after adding money and without adding money. It was still an ordinary room type without a bath, and there was no breakfast or other additional services. So what does the extra 1,500 mean? ? ? Later, I came back to my senses and felt it was unreasonable. I went to the front desk to argue, and finally the hotel agreed that there should be no additional charges. Is it bullying tourists by charging a fee in the first place? 2. The bed was uncomfortable and the quilt was too short. I kept waking up in the middle of the night. It was the worst night I slept in Hokkaido... 3. The receptionist’s English is really poor, and they don’t prepare a translator. Don’t say anything, we should bring our own. If the charge is so high, we should have the necessary services. 4. The location is not good, far away from Hakodate Station and major attractions 5. The room facilities are very average. They are really old, not retro. If you can't accept living in an old house, don't consider it. Private baths are OK, but public baths are average and no one wants to use them. Advantages: The private soup is pretty good, and there is a delicious Ichimonji Ramen nearby.

A super Japanese-style hotel. There is a sense of ceremony as soon as you enter the door. The suitcases are cleaned and sent to the room. All rooms have unparalleled sea views, and a 60-square-meter room is considered very good in Japan. You can make a reservation for private baths. I visually see that there are only two private baths in the hotel, yuzu bath, but there is no additional charge for private baths, which is much nicer than the 4,000 yen private bath fee in Noboribetsu. I'm a little sorry that I didn't book a dinner this time. I hope I can book a room with meals next time I come to Hakodate. However, the nearby Ichimonji surface can make up for this shortcoming.
