Ulasan Yunokawa Onsen Emi Hakodateya

Cleanliness was top-notch and the staff were incredibly friendly, so I'd definitely, 100%, consider staying here again! The location near the airport was a big plus. It was lovely to take walks in the surrounding area. While restaurants and convenience stores were a bit of a distance, it was a pleasant walk to get to them. 👍🏻

Good traditional place for onsen ryokan experience. Unless you drive, the place is a bit of a walk from Yunokawa tram station but the staff were polite and breakfast was good, the free miso soup, soft serve ice cream, coffee and sparkling by the common area was a nice touch.

The hot spring is small but well-equipped. However, there were sharp edges in the hot spring, and I unfortunately scratched my toe, which bled quite a bit. When I asked if I could get ointment and a bandage, they only had bandages. Also, the bed frame corners stuck out quite a bit beyond the mattress, so I had to be careful not to bump into them. Complimentary coffee, sparkling wine, and ice cream were provided, and they were all delicious. For dinner, we paid a corkage fee and enjoyed our own drinks. The sushi for dinner and the breakfast dishes were both excellent and beautifully presented.

The sushi course dinner was absolutely delicious! The friendly chef, who prepared the sushi right in front of us like a live kitchen, was also a big plus. The breakfast menu had a good variety of dishes. The natural hot spring (onsen) is also a major highlight in my opinion! I would love to stay here again!

The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, and all the amenities provided made the stay even more enjoyable. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help with any requests.

The lovely old gentleman serving as at night was one of the best front desk staff I’ve ever met. We originally planned to arrive at the property in the afternoon. However, our flight was cancelled and we had to seek alternative, delaying our arrival time until 23:00. When we arrive, we thought we will be self-checking in. But as we step inside the property from a heavy snow, we saw this kind gentleman waiting for us right at the door. He greeted us, helped us check in, and explained everything clearly. He offered us free flow free drinks and free ice cream (which was also very tasty) When we wanted to have some late night snacks bought from a convenient store, he also helped us reheat the food. 誠にありがとうございます！ Everything else was great as well! The room was comfortable, the breakfast was yummy, and it’s so nice to have a hot spring after out in the cold for the entire day.

There were too many day-use guests, so the bathhouse was packed from evening until after 8 PM, mostly with day-use visitors. I couldn't really relax while bathing. Even though day-use was supposed to end at 8 PM, day-use guests were still using the facilities normally after 8 PM. Also, the breakfast area was too small.

A nice small hotel with only 26 rooms. Room is big and comfortable. The hotel served free ice cream and sparkling wine at night which was much appreciated. Onsen includes an outdoor section as well.

Very nice hotel. We drove there, so location isn’t an issue. Price is reasonable. Onsan isn’t fantastic and has no view. Breakfast is lovely.

A cozy small hotel with guaranteed excellent service. The setting is peaceful and quiet, perfect for independent travelers on a road trip!

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. Staffs very friendly and helpful. The room very clean and spacious, feeling comfortable and cozy. Also, the quality of food is good. And surprising the hotel provide free flow beer! Besides that, they also provide ice cream and coffee as well. You may see my photos for more details.

The drinks and ice cream at the welcome bar were absolutely delicious. The onsen bath was incredibly relaxing. The breakfast area, though compact, felt very cozy and served a wonderful selection of delicious food, featuring many local Hakodate ingredients. Our room was also surprisingly spacious!

Small boutique hotel

The hotel is small but you have everything you need. Clean with thoughtful arrangements. Onsen is comparatively big for a hotel with less than 30 rooms. The variety and quality of food for Breakfast is excellent. Can compare with a normal meal buffet. They offer free good quality ice cream and bean to cup coffee which is surprisingly excellent!.
