One of the favourites hotel stay in Hokkaido for our family! The hotel is small but very neat and clean. We are a family of 5 and we loved the layout and the modern design of the room. The staff were very friendly. We managed to choose one of the shops at the seafood market for our breakfast. We will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends.

函館駅から市電に乗って五稜郭公園前駅に行くと、ほとんど目の前にあるホテルです。空港に行く「とびっこ」バスのバス停もすぐそばです。室内の広さや、アメニティの種類も十分でした。個人的にはパジャマのあるのが便利でした。PCやスマートフォンの充電器やケーブルまで部屋にあったので、うっかり忘れたときにも助かりますね。 一つだけ、シャワーカーテンを広げるとよくない臭いがしたので、「清潔感」の項目は１つ減らします。

We stayed at Century Marina for our first night in Hokkaido and originally chose it for its proximity to most of the sites we wanted to see in Hakodate. It's just a few minute walk from the train station with plenty of sidewalks so pulling our suitcases was no issue. The hotel also has a large parking lot if you choose to drive. It's also just a few minute walk from the warehouse district and the older area up the hill where a lot of historical embassies and churches are. The hotel's breakfast buffet is an experience itself with an extensive spread of both Japanese and Western food options. You will reserve a time slot when checking in, but even then you should expect a 10-20 minute wait in the morning to get your table, so its best to go up before your reserved time. This hotel also has one of the best rooftop onsen I've seen, with wonderful views of the whole marina and hill. When booking I didn't realize there was a hot springs so this was a nice surprise. Our room was right next to the elevator but very quiet and clean. This is a newer hotel too so everything felt very fresh and well-maintained. We checked in using Japanese, but the hotel has check-in info packets and signs in English so this is a good option for non-Japanese speaking guests as well.

This hotel is convenient for self-driving travelers, as it has partnered with nearby parking lots to ensure ample parking space. Apartment-style hotel providing fully equipped facilities as there is no need to go outside to find a laundry store(remember to buy laundry detergent).
The hotel hot spring is great, guests can watch TV while enjoying hot springs. The rooms are spacious, and some even offer sea views from the windows. Without a doubt, I highly recommend this hotel for a truly delightful stay.

初めて利用させていただきました。ラグジュアリーなホテルで、特筆すべきは朝食！ 私達は、１泊目はアゼリアでビュッフェ、２泊目は松前で和食の選択をしました。 ビュッフェでは、それこそ今まで見たこともないようなイクラの山盛りがあったり、超ゴージャスな海鮮丼を作る事ができたりして、ホントすごかった。 ２泊目の松前も、とっても素敵なお膳で、私はイクラ御膳をチョイスしましたが、これも超満足。 友人はひつまぶし御膳で、それもすごく美味しそうでした！ お部屋も、広くて手入れも行き届いており、老舗の風格プラス現代的な機能性もあり、良かったです。

What an amazing hotel HakoBA Hakodate is. It is located in the old Fuji Bank building which gives it a unique character. They have done an amazing job updating the interior making it look modern yet still letting the character of the building shine through, awesome! Staff at reception were super friendly and helped us with lots of recommendations, like food and drink, and helped us with the public transport 1-day pass which you can buy here. There's also a cool little shop in the reception area selling local gifts. The room was really nice and we were lucky they gave us a room on the top floor which meant the room had really high ceilings and amazing details on the ceiling. Bathroom was pretty large, very modern and clean. Location wise this hotel is perfect. It is a 20 minute walk from the station but well connected to other public transport like buses and the city tram system. Located in the middle of the redbrick warehouse area of Hakodate there's plenty of shopping and restaurants around. Ideal for exploring this amazing city. Highly recommend staying here!

＜良かったこと＞ 泊まったのは和室（7.5帖）の部屋でした。ベビーと一緒に利用しました。 結論から書くと、食事はとても素晴らしいし（本当に）、館内もきれいで温泉も気持ちよく、 湯上がりにアイスキャンディーやお水/特別な飲み物（名前忘れました）も無料で用意されてました。 ＜ちょっと思ったこと＞ ●部屋の広さ 人によっては、この広さで十分、と言うかもしれませんが、我々家族には窮屈でした。 ただ、お部屋の7.5帖のスペース以外はスペースがなく、連泊するのは難しく感じました。 クローゼットがとても小さいので、機内に搭載できるキャリーバッグじゃないと 持ってきたら部屋に広げることになってしまいます。 ●接客 ベビーがいるので、もし可能であれば、アーリーチェックインが可能かお電話で伺いました。 そしたら、「アーリーチェックインは無理ですねー」という回答でした。 飾る言葉一切なく、上記の言葉だけです。 その次に「まあ、14時半ならわかりませんが」とのこと。 とても大型ホテルのお電話対応とは思えないお電話でした。行く前からがっかりしてしまいました。 カウンターの方も人によりますが、ややそっけない感じの接客も見えたりしてました。 （もちろん素敵な方もおりましたが） ●食事の時間指定 コロナの対応などもあるかと思うので、時間指定はOKですが、 もし、遅れた場合はどうしますか？と訪ねたところ、 「5分ならいいですが、それ以上は難しいですね。」と言われました。 ご飯の時間に合わせなければならないのは正直旅行に行って大変でした。 もう少し猶予があるか、時間変更を何分前までならできる、などのコミュニケーションがほしかったです。 次は別の宿泊施設に行こうと思います。

What a wonderful experience! We were amazed at the selection of fresh seafood for breakfast and dinner. This is by far the best hotel seafood buffet for sure! The facilities are clean, rooms are spacious and tidy, overall ambience is great! Onsen is nice and relaxing. It is a bit far away from JR Hakodate station and does require you to either take taxi or bus. The hotel was offering a small hotel shuttle at the time which was nice however must reserve with the hotel before hand. The lady driving the shuttle bus was very nice and even gave us some traveling tips for the local area! Thank you! Special thanks to Mr. Yoshida-san at the front reception. He had noticed that one of the shuttle times we had reserved was not available that day, so he took extra effort to make sure we made it to the earlier shuttle time to make it back to the hotel. Thank you Yoshida-san! I really would like to come back and stay at Umi to Akari soon. It was a wonderful experience! Wish the best of success to this hotel!

PPengguna Tetamu這次北海道行程中，最滿意的一次入住。
位置：不在函館中心，湯之川温泉♨️，jr函館站有很多車到酒店（要查好時間），路程20分鐘左右（280日元），一條街都是温泉酒店🏨。
亮點：住日式房間，面對大海，喝茶🍵、發呆；房間有露天風呂（直接泡湯，早晚各一次，太舒服了）；晚上6:30～8:00，開始幫忙鋪床，第二天會整理掉的；大堂有一個區域用鑰匙開門，提供咖啡、果汁、茶水；冰箱mini提供免費🍺和茶
早餐豐富，好像我們的房間特別安排，能面朝大海座位，還提供特別餐（第一餐魚、第二餐豆腐火鍋🍲）。
一樓有個超市，價格公道。旁邊就有網紅拉麪🍜（一文字），隨便吃一口還行。
總體值得推薦！

PPengguna Tetamu정말 행복하게 묵다 갔습니다!
시설도 너무 좋았고 내부도 너무 깔끔하고 예뻤습니다.
특히 온천이 진짜 하이라이트인데 물 온도도 완벽했고 노천탕도 있어서 눈 오는 밤에 노천욕은 진짜 행복한 경험이었습니다.
두 개의 탕이 디자인이 좀 다르니 저녁 아침으로 해서 꼭 두번 다 이용하시면 좋을 듯 합니다!
다만 아쉬운게 트립 어플 내에선 조식은 현장결제라고 봤는데 가니 미리 예약하지 않으면 안된다고 하네요,, 아마 별도 예약이 맞는 듯 합니다.
조식을 하지 못한거만 빼면 최고였어요.
하코다테도 너무 좋았고 차후에 좀 더 오래 묵고 하코다테를 다시 방문하고 싶는 이유가 되었습니다!

PPengguna Tetamu妻と一泊しました。部屋からは津軽海峡が一望できました。曇っていたのですが場所の素晴らしさはよく分かりました。 食事は本当に美味しかったです。魚介類は新鮮でしたし食事のプレゼンーションも素晴らしかったです。また予約のプランで獺祭ミニ瓶が無料で付いていたのは嬉しかったです。 大浴場には半露天風呂がありました。こちらからも津軽海峡が眺められて気持ち良かったです。 中居さんを始め、旅館のスタッフの皆さんにはとても丁寧に接客頂きました。こちらの旅館での滞在はとても快適でした。 これだけの設備と食事とサービスで、お盆中にも関わらず2人で総額約8万円というのはとてもお得だったと思いました。お勧めの旅館です。

PPengguna TetamuIt has been almost 3 years that we have not visited Japan. Once Japan opened tourism, we packed our bags. We decided this trip will be a trip to enjoy some onsen (hot springs bath) and to see some fall foliage in colors. We picked Hakodate for onsen. This hotel offers in room open air bath tub on the balcony with a 180 degree ocean view!! Our activities were focused on taking onsen and having great food at the hotel buffet restaurant. After a great onsen bath, we wore the clothing they provided to us to the restaurant, very layback and relaxing!! There were many families, old and very young at the hotel over the weekend. So we think families take short vacations here. Strongly recommend to add Hakodate and this hotel to be part of your tour in Japan !

PPengguna TetamuVery close to the station of Hakodate JR (8min walk) and to the morning market (10min walk). The area is quite empty of people, surprising as it's close to the station. The area has probably seen better days or will but it's great to get to the station. The hotel was on the older side, the rooms had some stains on walls and tatami. However it was clean, quite a good size room for the price with private bathroom and had all amenities you can think of.

PPengguna TetamuThis hotel is located at the Yunokawa area in Hakodate. It's reachable within 20 minutes from Hakodate bus terminal. There are three buses serving this area: 95, 95A and 96. There is also a direct bus from/to Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto station with a fee of ¥900/person/way. We booked a Japanese-style room with a private onsen bath facing the ocean. The view is beyond our expectation. The room is super spacious - consisting of the entrance area, sleeping area, living room, a toilet, and bath area. They are still using the actual key instead of keycards. They served some snacks, tea, free beers, bottled water and cold tea. The room we booked also provided halfboard (dinner and breakfast). The food was amazing with many varieties, including our favourites - king crabs. All was served in a buffet style so you can eat this crab as much as you want.

PPengguna Tetamu우선 입지가 완벽합니다. 하코다테 역 걸어서 3분. 주변에 맥스밸류 하나 있고 전차역도 바로 눈앞에 지나갑니다.
전체적으로 낡았다는 게 단점이긴 하지만 그걸 극복하려고 나름 많은 노력을 하고 있습니다.
대표적으로 1층에 현대적으로 리모델링한 라운지 운영하는데 라운지 디자인 자체도 괜찮고 커피와 차, 물 등을 무료로 나눠주는 드링크 바를 오후 10시까지 운영합니다.
또 하나의 장점이라면 조식, 2000엔이라는 비싼 가격이지만(그 전날 미리 말하면 300엔 다운) 카이센동을 직접 만들어먹을 수도 있고 무엇보다 호텔 최상층에서 보는 하코다테 만
뷰는 충분히 그 값을 합니다.
그리고 오후 10시부터 밤 1시까지 조식을 먹었던 해당 최상층에서 바를 운영하는데 칵테일 + 간단한 안주 하나에 1100엔이라는 혜자 가격을 자랑합니다.
나이든 노 바텐더가 운영하구요, 아까 조식당에서의 장점이 낮 뷰라면 이곳의 장점은 해당 전경을 야경으로 감상하실 수 있다는 겁니다.
단점이라면 현재는 환경보호인지 하는 이유때문에 룸 크리닝을 제공하지 않고 물과 수건 정도만 교환해주지만 애초에 하코다테에 오래 머무르지 않아서 상관 없었습니다.
호불호 갈릴 만한 점 있지만 일단 저에게는 최고의 호텔이었습니다.

PPengguna TetamuThis was our first stop after leaving Tokyo. Like a lot of Hakodate, the opening of the Hokkaido shinkansen seems to have taken something of the former life of this former port of entry to Hokkaido. That said the hotel staff couldn't have been more helpful arranging a tour onto Mt Hakodate as the ropeway was closed for annual maintenance and arranging taxis etc the next morning. The hotel is close to the Red Brick Warehouse district with a number of good eating options. We discovered the next day that the area around the station also has good food options. The room was relatively small compared to others on our stay but clean and comfortable. The hotel is also ideally located for access to the main sights sitting on the intersection of the two tram route. We’d stay again.

PPengguna Tetamu函館の住宅地にある大きなホテルです。最寄りの電停は松風町、バス停は大森町です。函館駅や函館市役所の東側にあり、さほど距離は離れていないのですが、住宅地にあるので周囲はあまり賑やかではありません。近くにファミリーマートもありますし、駅の方に行けば飲食店もあるのですが、歩いて観光地に行くには若干不便な場所にあります。無料で自転車を貸してくれるので自転車さえ借りれば問題は無いと思いますが。ホテル北側に大きな駐車場があり無料で停められるので、車での観光の方には問題無いと思います。 結構大きなホテルで、一人旅でしたがツインルームを使えました。アメニティは一通り揃っており、部屋には冷蔵庫もありました。ユニットバスの設備が若干古い感じでしたが、特に問題無く使えました。ロビー脇にはウェルカムドリンクも用意されていますし、奥には漫画の棚があって自由に読むことも出来ます。 特筆すべきは夜泣きそばサービスでしょう。夜10:00～12:00までの時間限定ですが、塩ラーメンを自由に作って食べられるサービスがあります。セルフサービスですが、具もチャーシュー、メンマ、コーン、ネギ、麩と揃っていて、好きなだけ入れることができます。結構利用されている方も多かったです。 スタッフの方も対応も親切でしたし、また函館行くことがあればもう1度利用したいホテルです。

PPengguna TetamuGreat for a short stay! There’s a MEGA Don Quijote right across the street, and the neighbourhood is very quiet, perfect for evening walks. Just keep in mind that staff are only available after 3:00 PM.
If you arrive early, there are no rental lockers nearby or on-site. However, you can sit in the dining area, and the Wi-Fi password is already provided there.
