Located at the hill top without public transport ( only bus ) and 10-15 min drive from Habone lake Ashinoko ferry terminal. You better have to drive with your own car as hotel provide enough free parking spaces. Free snacks and drinks available for guests in the lobby most of the time which is excellent and very generous. Restaurant foods ( both brekkie and dinner ) are pretty basic but enough with all drinks, including alcohol are free.
Hotels staffs are helpful and polite.

The hotel's buffet dinner and breakfast are excellent, and the hot spring is also great. The only downside is that there are no nearby restaurants within walking distance for lunch. Additionally, it’s a 6-minute walk to the nearest bus stop on a slope, which can be a bit challenging if you’re carrying large luggage.

The location is close to Lake Ashi, but the hotel is on a hillside, so walking would be tiring, and taking a bus would be easier. Hygiene: The hotel looks clean and comfortable. Environment: Compared with other Japanese hotels, the rooms are relatively large.

This is an all-inclusive hotel located about 5 minutes by car from the shores of Lake Ashinoko in Hakone Town. I arrived early, but they let me check it out. The room was also heated and warm. I had booked the most reasonable room, so I thought there would be no chairs, but there were chairs, tables, and chairs. I'm attracted to the fudan first. The toilet is a unit bath, but there is also a dresser and chair in the room, which was convenient (it looks like it would be good for using a PC). Alcohol such as wine and sours, coffee, tea, juice, and sweets are available at the front desk. There is a lounge (?) in front of the front desk, and I thought we would eat there. However, the lounge (?) was not used, and guests had to bring their own drinks to their rooms. A friend of mine who carried red wine and other items said, ``It would be a disaster if something like this spilled in my room or inside the building.'' I had a little Malibu cocktail, and then made tea for the rest of the night (to go with alcoholic beverages in the evening). There were various sweets such as panda cookies, cheese sweets, and dried plums. Personally, I like having tea or having a few drinks in a hotel lounge, so I thought it would be nice to be able to do it there. The room was comfortable, so I was able to relax and drink in the room, which was good. The small chair in the room was a comfortable chair. Now about the bath, the hot spring water has a slight sulfur scent and is cloudy. The water in both the indoor bath and the open-air bath was quite hot. After taking a bath, it was hot for a while. The wash area has lotion, lotion, etc. The next morning, the temperature of the bath water had dropped (due to the cold?), so instead of using hot water, I took a leisurely soak. We had dinner at a beautiful restaurant with a white European interior. It's an Italian buffet. It's all-inclusive (no beer), so you don't have to choose alcohol, so it's easy. I drank white and red wine. Bossa Nova (Lisa Ono) was playing all the time in the store, and it was the perfect mood for a Bossa Nova fan like me. Anyway, there were many items that went well with wine, which made me very happy. There was a lot of seafood. Carpaccio, clams, mussels, etc., as well as pasta, gratin, and meat-based items are not heavy items, so you can try a variety of things. All of the items were delicious, but they didn't have the strong or persistent taste of olive oil, and they weren't heavy. This is the main thing. The pork stew was also delicious. They also had Mexican tortillas, but I forgot to eat them. It's good that it's only a buffet, and the waiter will call out to you and clean up the plates after you finish them, so the table won't get cluttered. There were many types of decaffeinated tea, which was good for drinking at night. I couldn't eat dessert, but ate some rice. We drank a lot of wine before dinner and slowed down for dinner. Even though I don't really like buffets for dinner, I was very satisfied with the buffet. I heard that the dinner items are handmade. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with salt-grilled mackerel and simmered daikon radish. Even though it was all-inclusive, the accommodation fee was reasonable. I am satisfied with the hot springs, food, and service. In addition, the customer service from the front desk and restaurant staff was excellent, making our stay a comfortable one. It was a hotel where you could feel the hospitality. This is a hotel I would like to use again.

I stayed there the other day, and when I drained the hot water from the unit bath attached to the room in the middle of the night, the drain was clogged and garbage came out, causing a serious water leak into the room. I called the front desk, but the phone was broken and I couldn't make a call. I went to the front desk and called someone, and we, the guests, took the initial action and prevented the water from leaking down to the floors below. However, there was no apology from the hotel for the water leak, which was very unpleasant. I was forced to deal with the water leak until after 11 o'clock, so I couldn't relax at all at night, and even after the action, there was no apology from the hotel, just the words "It's over". It would have been better if there had been an apology or a word about the accident when I paid, but there was nothing, and when I asked for the boss, he said he was the manager and that was the end of it. It was a really unpleasant response. I have stayed in various hotels in Hakone dozens of times, but this is the first time I've stayed in a hotel with such lack of sincerity. It was extremely unpleasant. This hotel ruined my trip. In addition, they only said that a small handkerchief was found in the drain, and there was a passage that seemed to blame us for staying there. I think that this also revealed that the unit bath was never cleaned. Considering that, I suspect that the cleanliness of the room was not maintained. That's all about the water leakage accident, but as a comment from the time of the stay, it was probably because of the strong winds when I stayed, and the noise of the draft was terrible all night, and I couldn't sleep at all because of the above-mentioned water leakage response and the noise of the draft. The bath was good and the food was decent, but the hotel does not provide the minimum customer service required by a hotel staff. It's scary to think what would have happened if the water leakage had been drained and left the room during meals. It seems that the hot water had seeped into the room and also leaked downstairs, but I told them when I was paying, but they didn't feel anything. The manager was completely unable to think about such things.

I stayed at Hotel Rakuun in Hakone for two nights on November 22nd and 23rd. At first, I made a reservation through another site, but in the end, I made a reservation directly with the hotel, which offers nationwide travel support and coupons. However, the hotel did not function as a lodging facility due to the following points. 1. I went there using public transportation, but the nearest bus stop is completely different. 2. After getting off the bus, I called how to get there, but no one answered the phone for over an hour and a half! 3. Even if I asked the neighbors and turned back and told the manager at the front desk about it as a complaint, they did not tell the person who said the false information. 4. Even if I directly tell Klee et al. to the person himself, there is not a single apology. 5. The shower in the hot spring remains water for a long time, and perhaps because of that, no one else comes in. 6. The toilet is not cleaned properly. 7. There were many inconveniences such as the free Wi-Fi in the room being cut off and unable to connect. Please do not list this hotel in the future.
