Just returned from 10 days at the Cinnamon Hakuraa Huraa Maldives. Fantastic resort very friendly staff always smix And happy to help. Arriving by Sea plane was amazing and added to the holiday. The barefooted pilot made us smile. We stayed in one of the water bungalows with a sunset view which we were unaware. But it was an added bonus when we realised. The bungalows are really nicely laid out with great views and access to the water via some steps. Marine life around the bungalows was pretty cool, We saw small black clown fishes, Trigger fish, Eagle Rays, Stingrays and Black Tipped Sharks. We made the most of our stay and went out on a few trips. Snorkelling trips were free and took place twice a day. Dolphin and shark feeding trips were worth doing. It was really great to see both in there natural habitats. We stayed in room 314 and Naseer was our house keeper who was always happy to chat and taught us a few Maldivian phrases and told us a lot about the Maldivian way of life. Naseer would often leave us with some really good decorations made out of palm leaves on our bed. A very talented and hard working gentleman, we thank you. In the main restaurant we were looked after by Nishaah. Nishaah made us both laugh a lot throughout our stay. Again nothing was too much trouble and very hard working. At the front of the restaurant was Aminath a very polite and lovely young lady. Always smiling and taking time out to chat with us. Aminath thank you for the surprise Anniversary desert and table decoration. Ricardo also worked within the restaurant and even though he was busy he made an effort to stop and chat with us. Ricardo came across as a very interesting young man and now we both would like to visit Sri Lanka in the future. Cinnamon Hakuraa Huraa Resort is fortunate to have Naseer Aminath Nishaah Ricardo working for them. There are a number of others we engaged with and all deserve recognition. It’s great to see the staff all looked happy in their work and laughing with each other. Thank you for making our holiday very memorable. We will return in the future. The resort is cashless, the only money you will need is for island hopping or tipping staff. US 💵 dollars are mainly used, make sure the notes are in good condition. Otherwise they cannot be accepted by the banks. Which we discovered when we went to use some of the dollars at the airport.
