We stayed on the 18+ island and it was very very quiet and we totally relaxed. Sadly the weather was not good at all and we only had 2 sunny days together out of our 2 weeks. Lots and lots of rain and very gusty winds. So sad to see all the bleached white coral and hardly any fish too be seen when it was nice enough to go snorkeling. The other sad thing was to see piles of sandbags at the end of our 'garden' which had obviously been placed there to prevent further flooding but it was clearly necessary. Inside our bungalow all the floorboards had curled up at the ends - a clear sign of being flooded - but not bad enough to trip over. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was lovely too. Outside furniture adequate but we hardly got chance to sit on it with all the rain. The food was lovely, so much to choose from at every meal time, we didn't bother with lunch as only used to 2 meals a day anyway. Special mention and a big thank you to Charuna, Kalum and Maahil for great food with happy smiling faces in the restaurant. The bar area was nice and relaxing and Menaka & Nandana were always on hand with the drinks whilst we soaked up the rain! We liked the clear blinds in the bar allowing you to stay dry but feel as though you were outside and the pool itself was great. Overall a nice holiday.
