Hotel berhampiran Cafe Lungo, Hamilton

The hotel here is a bit dated and could do with a bit of a refurb. The location is great for travelling. The staff are great. Very helpful and pleasant. The hotel is close to Hamilton, so if you need to get a bite to eat that's not McDonald's, then it's a five minute journey.

All round good stay Room was clean and comfy, just a little tired round the edges (whirlpool bath showed signs of repair). The bar was nice and the bar food was Better than average. Ideally placed for Hamilton town centre. I'd go back

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel around 8 times and absolutely loved it. Beautiful modern comfy rooms, lovely bar area and the best ever showers! We have always experienced first class service from lovely staff. This unfortunately came to an end when we checked in last month. There was one really lovely young lady at reception as we arrived but she was caught up with another guest sorting out a problem with the TV remote control. I believe this girl summoned another staff member to come out from the office to deal with us. Out she came, never said hello, no eye contact infact was cold, and it made me feel uncomfortable. I'm guessing she was not happy at being called out of the office. So, with a cold and hostile attitude, we were checked in and given keys. As we always requested a downstairs room, I noticed our room was upstairs. I asked if there were no downstairs rooms, and we had requested this. She said”yes so I see,” and said no, there aren't any . So would you not think that when checking someone in who had requested a downstairs room, you would at least acknowledge this. Unfortunately, this has put me off returning and we have been staying at a different hotel. It's such a shame when the hotel is lovely and that one ”huffy” receptionist can ruin everyone else's hard work.

Hotel itu sendiri adalah hebat untuk harga. Kolam renangnya hebat dan tiada tempahan diperlukan. Tempat letak kereta percuma yang juga merupakan bonus. Sarapan paginya juga hebat. Satu-satunya kejatuhan yang saya katakan ialah harga makanan dan minuman sangat tinggi di restoran dan bar untuk apa yang anda perolehi sebenarnya. Saya pasti akan tinggal di sini lagi walaupun. Kakitangannya cemerlang.

My friends and I all dropped into the Alona after a walk around Strathclyde park for a coffee and cake, after talking to Shannon who recommended their Dinner menu we decided to stay on and have a spontaneous meal together. The service from Shannon was excellent, we spoke with a young manager too who I noticed was walking around the other tables giving them all the same time and conversation as he did with us (a very attentive young man) I believe he was called Darrel. The restaurant was very busy and had spacious bar area, I found the staff all very friendly and informative while busy they were always available for guests. We have all planned our next visit for a meal next weekend, this time I’ll be leaving the car so I can enjoy a glass of Red!

Dalam keadilan penginapan pertama, bilik yang kami tempah adalah kira-kira £32 kerana ia adalah hari minggu. Ia adalah yang paling murah yang ada di dalam kawasan pusat bandar Glasgow. Oleh itu, ia mendapat pujian untuk menjadi yang termurah, namun biliknya kecil. Kami mendapat bilik dengan tingkap kedua-dua kali, sebenarnya saya rasa tanpa tingkap anda akan berasa sesak. Saya cuba menempah terus dengan easyHotel tetapi laman web mereka hanya ranap di halaman pembayaran, yang tidak berguna kerana saya telah mendaftar untuk perkhidmatan diskaun dalaman percuma mereka. Yang membenarkan satu jam tambahan di atas katil sebelum daftar keluar - jadi 11 pagi dan bukannya 10 pagi. Selain itu, ia membolehkan kadar yang lebih murah sedikit apabila menempah bilik. Saya juga menelefon hotel untuk memberitahu bahawa saya tidak boleh membuat tempahan dalam talian, mereka berkata mereka tidak membuat tempahan melalui telefon dan menasihatkan untuk pergi melalui laman web pihak ketiga kerana ia cenderung lebih murah. Dalam contoh ini, pergi terus adalah yang paling murah - jadi saya terlepas peluang itu & pergi melalui Trip.com kerana ia adalah pilihan ke-2 termurah. Kali ke-2 kami pergi dalam minggu yang sama, hotel itu mungkin lebih murah £20 berbanding tempat lain kerana ia adalah tempahan malam Sabtu jadi harganya lebih kurang £95. Saya lebih suka membelanjakan sedikit wang tambahan untuk mendapatkan Premier Inn atau sesuatu. Bilik double itu kecil sehingga anda perlu merangkak ke atas katil untuk pergi ke sisi lain kerana tidak ada ruang yang cukup untuk berjalan di bahagian bawah katil. Bilik mandi pada asasnya adalah bilik basah sebesar tandas kapal terbang. Kebersihannya tidak begitu baik pada kedua-dua kali kami pergi. Kotoran di dinding bilik tidur, kotoran di bilik air yang belum dibersihkan entah berapa lama. Kotoran di lantai semasa perjalanan ke bilik juga tidak kelihatan. Kakitangan di hotel adalah baik, kami tidak diganggu oleh orang lain yang turut menginap di sana, jadi jika anda benar-benar mencari tempat untuk bermalam & tidak merancang untuk berlama-lama di bilik hotel anda - maka lakukannya . Jika anda sukakan lebih banyak ruang daripada 3 langkah anda masuk ke dalam bilik untuk ke katil & bilik mandi yang boleh anda jalani - kemudian teruskan ke tempat ini. Sarung klasik yang lebih murah tidak selalunya lebih baik.

As expected brilliant hotel central clean service was very friendly and rooms were great also

First class hotel with excellent staff and rooms,I stay here every week while working up Scotland. The rooms are modern and spotless with everything you need. All of the staff who I have got to know over the last year are excellent at there jobs and can’t do enough for you.breakfast is very good with plenty of choices, evening meals are good also. I would definitely stop here with my family rather than just for work
