First off, we had booked our hotel months before we visited and had paid in advance on a credit card. One which were in the midst of closing out with our bank btw. Bad us for not realizing that you cannot use a Visa Debit for incidentals. I use my Visa debit everywhere without issue. Even in the US but not acceptable here. And paying cash is not acceptable currency anymore for hotels either. So after doing a lot of running around, that issue was resolved. Funny, they’ll take your money via Visa debit to pay for the room on the site ???? And we weren’t the only ones having an issue with checking in for similar issues. Then the room. Not worth the money we paid. Dull and dingy. Stained carpets, curtains look dirty. Completely weird set up. TV off to the side not in front of the of the bed? Bad part of the city too. Only good thing is that it was close to The First Ontario Centre which was very close as we were going o a concert. If we were ever to go to another concert in Hamilton, I’d drive the 45 mins to Niagara. Much nicer rooms at half the cost.

Staying here for Hamilton Intl airport (YHM) low fares. The soundproofing is amazing! I didn’t notice next door’s rambunctious kids until I opened my door to walk to the elevator. Complimentary all-day tea and coffee (both decaffeinated and otherwise) Free continental brekky 7-9am. The rooms are huge. Full kitchen. Strong AC. 2 restaurants and a Dominos pizza next door. Kids Trampoline warehouse on one side, a respectable mall on the other. Hotel is right off the highway. Ami at the front desk was kind, flawless and helpful. Along with me, she was taking care of a guest’s unusual request AND helping an elderly Chinese tourist with her wifi. Check in is 3pm. Checkout is 11am. Front desk recognizes Bonvoy status :) All in all, one of the best in Canada if not the world.

Hotel is in a good location. Staff were friendly and efficient. Rooms were nice and beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms were spotlessly clean. The on-site restaurant was mediocre at best. Our family members staying at the same time experienced cold soup that had to be rewarmed, cold oatmeal that had to be rewarmed on two separate days, and an average breakfast for an above average price. The bar, which was part of the restaurant, was poorly stocked which the server blamed on the fact that they had never expanded their offerings back to pre-pandemic levels. So I would recommend the hotel for sure as long as you don't plan to eat on site as there are definitely better options nearby.

Everything here was great. My understanding is that this is the only real hotel-like place to stay if you need to do something in Westdale (which I try not to do but have to do sometimes). Friendly and efficient service, clean and excellent room. Not a great view, but, after all, the room is meant for travelers-slash-visitors. I wish I could have checked out the pool, but, alas, I was too busy the last two times I stayed here.

Unreal stay! Based on reviews we were slightly hesitant but needed a safe haven away from home for the weekend and Super 8 did not disappoint! Staff was amazing on arrival and our 1 out of 2 activated keycards opened our presidential suite with ease. Make sure you bring Fido! Our Great Dane enjoyed the pull out sofa bed immensely and we felt zero judgment walking the halls with our 130 lbs friendly companion. Room was large with 2 double beds. One was much more soft and comfortable than the other so it made for much fun with our overly competitive family of 4. Free bottled water between 6am and 10am! Complimentary breakfast consisted of mini muffins and the granola bars so soft they melted in your mouth like butter! While we were busy hitting dingers on the baseball field a wonderful lady cleaned up our room with exceptional attention to detail, bless her heart. 4.95 out of 5 stars simply because the potholes in parking lot reminded us more of black diamond moguls at the ski resort. We will return! Loved every minute and have inquired about becoming club members.

Second time in Canada and I've stayed in the same hotel, staff are always lovely and welcoming. One of the staff members remembered me from last year and was so happy to see me again! Couldn't fault the staff at Burlington whatsoever. Always accommodate your needs.

Well, it’s been a huge turnaround from our very first experience and each and every Stay just keeps getting better. We are platinum elite guests, which afford us benefits e.g. upgraded room, $10/ guest plus one, among other things. We love this hotel for many reasons, it’s a Marriott which is generally consistent, the Marriott bed is thee best, the rooms are large no matter what option you choose including the standard room, and I have anxiety. My favourite room surprisingly, and in order is the deluxe corner rooms, the full 1 bedroom suite which is a huge treat, (two full showers one with bath) in same bathroom, it’s massive) and connects to a kind standard room. Then, the Junior Suite. Each room is modern, and up to date. The one thing I wish all hotels had was access to “connect my device.” I’m not sure if the use of this system across Marriott brands is being removed entirely but I do know that some hotels within the brand offer it. Unfortunately, not here. They do have Netflix, Amazon Prime and stream. One odd thing we’ve had happen and not sure why this is, as we never felt compelled to ask, is why the tv just shuts down in the middle of any program/ streaming. And, although the tv message comes up on a screen saying hit “ok” to continue, it doesn’t matter how many times you do that, it still shuts off hmmm 🤔 Of all the Courtyard hotels that we’ve stayed in, this hotel is thee nicest in comparison. The Bistro has a whole host of items. You can review the menu in room on the tv, and you can order over the phone albeit you need to pick up. The food has always been great, breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff always get it right too! Lol We stayed last weekend (28-30) and upon check in got upgraded from a standard king (using points) to a deluxe corner - more spacious and the layout is fantastic. Upon, entry to the room we received the sweetest gesture of small snacks, and waters. So thoughtful. And, it’s each and every time! Now, we’ll be sad if we don’t get it. Lol JK! We know we’re appreciated and feel the genuine care of the team. When we checked in the staff heard me and came out to say hello making us feel extra special. Not needed as we know time is valuable. But, thank you! We appreciate the all of it. They have gone way beyond the extra mile! Oh, and, upon arriving to our room, and in past we have made requests for robes and slippers (mostly for my husband, to arrive this past weekend to two sets of each on our bed like a little welcome home! Awwww makes the day that much brighter to know that the staff took time out of their day, anticipating our need without even asking this time, albeit we didn’t need but husband still used them, just shows the thoughtfulness. It truly is the little things! Thank you! We shall see you this weekend, again! Also, It has become our new hotel, for attending Toronto FC soccer matches in Toronto. We would stay in Toronto right down town (at one of our fav hotels, ever) the hospitality 💋 anyways,
PPengguna TetamuWe had a spacious room with great beds and pillows. The staff, from check in to check out at week later were friendly and helpful, making recommendations of where to eat and where to walk in the local area. The housekeeping staff were wonderful and very friendly. One particular standout among the staff was Janet in the Loft Lounge. After one visit to the lounge she remembered my drink choice and had it ready in hand on my next visit. Janet went above and beyond when serving a large group of friends when we met in the lounge following convention meetings. Thanks as well to the friendly staff in Chagall's restaurant when we stopped in for breakfast on a few days of our convention. If back in Hamilton in the future, the Sheraton Hamilton will be my hotel of choice.
PPengguna TetamuAnother trusty stay at the local Hilton. This time I was here to use my coins and have a convenient place from which to launch two separate expeditions: first, to the Lit Live Reading Series at the Art Gallery of Hamilton; and, second, to my favourite local bar on James Street North. While I enjoyed some of the literary stylings at the first event, things were ultimately disrupted by an untoward event (the second of the past three months, if memory serves). Things took a similarly negative turn at the second establishment of the evening, although I suppose that was further inside the realm of the expected. At any rate, I survived, and the Hilton was there form me at the end of a hard day once again. There was also a heaping complimentary breakfast in the morning, which helped me transition back into a daily routine of (somewhat) respectable adult living. All of this was very much appreciated! (Although, in spite of the suite-lack amenities and fantastic showering experience[s], there was still [predictably!] no robe with which to complete my relapse into comparative luxury.)
PPengguna TetamuI was able to get early check in, so tha was a plus . Hotel room was clean and very comfortable. Great customer service. Staff were accommodating and very friendly. The experience was lovely My only complaints were :The toilet seat in my ensuite was loose , so that was uncomfortable. The pool was overly heated. I was only staying for the night , I did not complain, but informed staff at my departure.
AAnnon FoxStay for one night on the ground floor (2 levels). The room was big , spacious l, and spacious with a couch (pull out bed) the washroom was also quite large. There is complimentary breakfast and parking (ground floor has a screen door that leads directly to lot easy to load and unload car). The place was nicely renovated, but the floors had some dust on the edges. Overall a good place to stay.
