Hotel berhampiran Carpet City, Hammamet

I was spent 8 unforgettable days in this georgious 5* hotel. The room, the staff, the food, the beach everything was just perfect. The hotel is very clean, every area has cleaned daily. The food is amazing. There is very good espresso , you may choose to make yourself an Italian espresso ( capsule) or to order whatever coffee do you prefer ( no extra fees) The wine and cocktails are very good. I definitely recommend .

We has the best time ever here. This is my 3rd time here in last 2 years & will be doing it again! The staff at the bar, restaurant are absolutely amazing! The Animation team are the FANTASTIC. You will never get bored here. Wish I could give more than 5 star!!! Can't wait to book it again! Xxx

الفندق جد مريح وله اطلالة رائعة على البحر، فضلا عن خدماته الممتازة في الاطعام، وفي نادي الصغار مع mouna. Tata. وكذلك المشرف الرياضي Djamel. انصح العائلات بزيارته والاستمتاع بخدماته. وانتهز الفرصة لشكر كل طاقم العمل على حرصهم على ارضاء النزلاء وتوفير الجو الملائم لراحتهم وراحة اطفالهم.

Hasdrubal Thalasso Hammamet is one of the oldest hotels in Hammamet, and while it may show signs of age, I was pleasantly surprised by the overall cleanliness, large room, and charm it offered. The hotel's aging exterior might not be the most visually appealing due to lack of maintenance, but once inside, I found the interior well-maintained and quite nice. The cleanliness of the rooms and common areas was commendable, which greatly contributed to a comfortable stay. I wanted to add that it was enjoyable but events which happened during my stay destroyed my enjoyment. Despite its age, this hotel manages to retain a certain charm,unfortunately some staff is  friendly but some other staff's demeanor adds to the negative experience. My recent visit to the à la carte restaurant was marred by an unfortunate incident that left a lasting negative impression. While I had initially looked forward to enjoying a pleasant dining experience, what I witnessed was completely unexpected and unacceptable. During my time at the restaurant, someone decided to engage in public urination, which was not only unsanitary but also highly disrespectful to the establishment and its patrons. Such behavior is entirely inappropriate and should not occur in any public setting, especially a place where people come to enjoy their meals. I believe it is the responsibility of the restaurant staff to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for all customers. In this case, it appeared that the staff either failed to notice or address the situation promptly. This incident significantly detracted from what could have otherwise been an enjoyable meal. Kamel the server was informed and witnessed the incident but didn't do anything. I hope that the restaurant takes measures to improve its security and staff training to prevent such incidents in the future, ensuring that customers can dine without experiencing such discomfort. I must say I was quite disappointed with the level of customer service provided by the receptionist Ghada. While the hotel itself had a luxurious ambiance, the receptionist's attitude was much to be desired. I had hoped for a warm and welcoming experience when I was asking for change, but instead, I was met with a receptionist who was not nice at all. She appeared disinterested, and her demeanor came across as unfriendly. It's essential for a hotel of this caliber to have staff who make guests feel valued and appreciated whatever they're wearing or whatever they look like, but unfortunately, that was not my experience, no smile, no eye contact, not even being regarded as a customer.  Yes that was Ghada who forgot the meaning of the word receptionist. I believe that the front desk staff play a crucial role in setting the tone for a guest's stay, and in this case, it left a negative impression. I hope the hotel management takes note of this and addresses the issue to ensure that future guests have a more pleasant experience with this lady and others like h

We visited Magic Life Africana during June 2024. The weather was perfect for our two young children. The hotel was recommended to me by a colleague and it didn’t disappoint - there is something to do for all ages (archery, lots of swimming pools, slides for young and older children, tennis, volleyball, pool and so much more. The location was also perfect having its own private beach with lots of space to sit and lounge. Everyone was super friendly despite the language barrier. Staff were always happy to help. The food in the main restaurant was absolutely delicious - we didn’t even feel the need to dine a la carte as the buffet options were always so good and too good to be missed. Everything was laid out so well and presented perfectly. There were so many options and every evening was different. They had cuisines from all over the world and always accommodated for the kids which chips, pasta, nuggets and plenty of desserts. The entertainment for our young kids was just right. My eldest still loves watching back videos of the disco and seeing Mymo. Such a great way to burn off dinner with dancing and I love that they wind down and say good night with dream sand - making bed time so much easier. The safe in the room was difficult to work out. A staff member would have to come and set it up with a main key which we felt a little uncomfortable with so we didn’t use. There’s no instruction to how to use the phone and had to go to reception to ask. Dialling 9 takes you through to the reception desk. Other than those little factors, over all we had a fantastic time. We would like to give a special thank you to photographer Lotfi who managed to capture some beautiful photos of our family. We have two very young children and with his fun loving character he was able to get a photo of them smiling away which we will always cherish. They were a very good price and great quality images which we downloaded straight to our phones.

The reception staff were really really nice. The food was excellent and had a great variety at all point of the day! The dessert was v good. The entertainment was also very good. Would recommended for family’s and couples. Would come again! Overall extremely very good . Definitely 5*

Hotel molto pulito, il personale della reception, bar e colazioni: accogliente, estremamente gentile e disponibile. La camera ben arredata, spaziosa, pulita. Idem per il bagno. Ho chiesto una camera dalla parte interna del giardinetto, é silenziosa. Arredamento fresco e delicato, luminoso per le bellissime vetrate e un tocco di colore e gentilezza con i fiori e le piante. Angolo biblioteca vicino alla sala colazioni. Bar con divani, tavolini e grande televisore piatto a muro. Belle le stufe riscaldanti a fiamma libera, coreografiche. La cosa più bella di cui vorrei informare i lettori della recensione, riguarda la generosità, ospitalità e grande gentilezza della proprietaria (che parla italiano): mi sono trovata in difficoltà per una dissenteria e lei, insieme al suo personale, mi hanno fatto sentire a Casa. Mi hanno persino offerto del riso nonostante l'albergo non effettui i pasti, ma il BeB. Sono molto grata alla proprietaria, anima gentile con un grande cuore. Se ora sto meglio é grazie anche a lei. Consiglierei questo albergo a tutti coloro che arrivano ad Hammamet, questa città é molto diversa dall'Italia ma in questo albergo ti puoi sentire sicuro, coccolato, in un ambiente che non si discosta da uno dei migliori alberghi italiani.

Ramzi (General Manager) is a top tier manager, he is very hospitable and can deal with complex requests with ease. I stayed here back in December 2022 and return a year later with 27 members of my family for dinner and had an amazing family meal that we all keep dear in our hearts. All of the beach bar staff (especially Fawzi) are awesome and always smiling. I always pay a visit when I’m in Hammamet
