It was late at night and I needed somewhere to stay. I've stayed in worse but this wasn't all that great. It's a place to rest your head and be out of the elements.

Back again for another go and figure I'd share some tips. I've stayed at this property many times and there is always an issue. During, and just after COVID, it was the condition of the rooms: chipping paint/drywall, carpet stains, broken window shades, terribly limp pillows, missing towel racks, etc. Most of those issues are gone and the basic maintenance appears to have improved. This time, around, it's the service (which previously had been pretty good). I'm a Bonvoy Platinum but realize my status holds no value at Element properties, but figured I'd ask for a 2nd floor room (laundry room is on this floor) that faced outside, not the courtyard (as others have noted, it's awkward to face other rooms). I was assigned a 3rd floor room and told the only other option was a first floor room (not great; people walk by and can peer inside if your shades aren't drawn). I was told the hotel was fully booked (not true; the parking lot is relatively empty and they're still selling rooms for my dates) but knew a protest was fruitless. The room I received also has the permanently sticky floor that others have noted (I tried cleaning it with Clorox), a safe that was still locked on arrival, a fridge that is not cold enough to store perishables, malfunctioning bedside lights that leave the room really dark, and a shower handle that doesn't appear to support anything but hot or scalding hot temps. Worst of all, when I raised the issue with the desk clerk, she noted maintenance wasn't available (it was a Sunday). I messaged the front desk on Monday through the Bonvoy app to remind them but haven't received a response (it's been nearly four hours). I have spent thousands of dollars at this property over the years but may have finally hit my breaking point. The nearby Hyatt Place is a solid alternative for road warriors, even if you're a devout Bonvoy member.

The absolute worst. This place is a dive motel! No breakfast, no pool, nothing! While the staff were polite and helpful, I will never stay at this mess again. Don’t let the low price & great online ad fool you. You get what you pay for.

I have done a fair amount of traveling and staying in hotels. Amy at the front desk makes this hotel the greatest hotel experience I’ve ever had. This is my third visit to this hotel and every time she is here she greets me with a warm smile. She is such a blessing to this hotel. I will continue to stay here every time I come to town because of her. These days it’s nice to meet and talk to a warm caring person. God bless you Amy

We have stayed at this hotel several times in the past & have always had a good experience. We stayed in a King Bedroom Suite w/kitchen & sofabed. The rooms were pretty quiet & which is saying a lot since I'm a very light sleeper! We went for a family trip to Busch Gardens (about 15 mins away). The room was very clean. The staff was wonderful! Every person greeted us with a smile & they were very accommodating to any request we had. Tina, with housekeeping, was incredibly sweet when she had to come to our room late at night to bring us some things. The front desk was also very friendly with every interaction. The breakfast staff were attentive & always asked if they could help us with anything as well. Breakfast is not the best, but it is good enough to get us going for the day. The staff should all be recognized for making us feel welcome & making it such an enjoyable stay.

The check-in team were WONDERFUL!! My room as very clean, safe and everything working well!! I will be returning!! Oh, I also slept well, like a baby! I was very tired upon arriving here. The bedding was spot on!!
