The building is old but indoor is well equipped. Prime location to XIHU and WULIN food STREET.

Fantastic location, great breakfast, awesome lake view, and excellent service. My wife and I were looking forward to using the pool, but unfortunately it's only open in the summer (closed from the 5th of September, always good to check the fine print). In fact, after mentioning this to Trip and the hotel management, we managed to get a fair compensation. That was very thoughtful. I'd highly recommend this hotel and will likely come back again.

good location, reasonable price, nice service. give me a replace room when I was not satisfy with one which is under advertisement panel.

The hotel is conveniently located with nearby eatery shops and etc. Overall is clean and pleasant. Hotel staff are friendly. However, it is a bit noisy during night time whereby you can visibly hear the noise of the traffic outside the hotel. Maybe the hotel management can consider to improve the sound proof condition.

10-15mins walked from the Metro station. Not ideal if it was a rainy days. About 30mins drive from the Hangzhou East Station. Receptional counter was friendly and helpful. They quickly changed a new room without smoking smell. The room was spacious and comfortable for a solo traveller. Hot water supply was excellent. Sound proof needed to upgrade,

Location is good and breakfast spread is not bad. But overall building quite aged, plugs in the room not strong enough to support hair dryer for duration to dry long hair. Hair dryer gets heated and need to wait for hairdryer to cool down to start again.

The location is wonderful but the rooms desperately need some renovation. I stayed in two different rooms. In the first one, the air conditioning didn't work well and the shower didn't work part of the time. The second one was very dark (I had to ask for an extra lamp which barely helped) and there was a huge water stain on the ceiling. The person I was traveling with actually switched to a different hotel.

The decoration of the room was very '80s. The hotel could do with a renovation. Despite that, it's not bad.

I’ve stayed here before and liked it because of the local and it has a bathtub. It was nice being upgraded to a room with a view of Westlake. I was surprised at how hard the bed was but if you like hard mattresses, this will be perfect for you. I did notice the cleaning staff wasn’t thorough in cleaning the shower. There was hair stuck on the wall. On another good note, the service was really good.

Service was good, the original room it’s bath tub drainage gad a problem, our room was switched. Facility is old. Safe was not working properly. Food is ok, bus boy was not that nice.

Service from front desk staff is limited if you only speak English. Very safe. Convenient as located next to bus lines and is 10 minute walk to WestLake for boat cruise. Touristy location so convenient to night market and all sorts of eateries for every budget. Dated facility that is kept up...was very grand in its day...still shows through. Would stay again for the price paid.

When I arrived at the hotel I got a warm welcome from the front office lady Mary. She speaks English, did a very fast check in, and explained everything clearly which was very nice after a long travel. She adds a great value for this hotel. Great location, close to metro station, city and very short distance to west lake. Great breakfast western and Chinese food options The concierge man that help you with your luggage, responds very quickly and thinks gives an answer to your questions. You are able to book tours, taxi, pick-up from airport or train station via this hotel. This hotel made my travel in Hangzhou very smooth and convenient. If I come back to Hangzhou I will definitely stay here again.
