Called the hotel ahead of time asking whether the AC would blow out cold wind (since we had previous experience where it was not working and I cannot sleep without AC no matter how cold it is) and they said it was working fine. However, we reached the hotel just to find out the AC was not blowing out cold wind. Would not complain if I did not make the phone call ahead of time. Aside from this, hotel was fine.

Good place to stay, but a bit away from coffee shop or subway. Not convenient for holiday travellers but perfect for business

Its my maybe fifth time to stay here. Ideal for solo travelers.
There is a kitchen opened to next doors, seems that its cook delivery foods, so a lot of delivery guys come and go.

Great short stay
Room are just okay, come with fruit platter when arrival in room.
Breakfast decent, chinese and western cuisine. Do check out their scallion pancake.
Reception are friendly
Overall stay are great with the price.

Booked 2 rooms: 1 king bed room and 1 parent-child room. The hotel gave the same room key to me and another visitor - the other visitor went into my room soon after arriving. Poor organization and staff training.
The other child-friendly room I booked wasn't ready for checkin until at least 3pm, and we had to wait outside the whole time with tired child.
Far from West Lake area, about 45min by taxi.
Average breakfast. Comfortable and clean room.

Because the parent-child suite is full the day before, it may delay your stay. The hotel provides a rest area and free popcorn tea. You can rest and wait first. Binjiang is 9 kilometres away from the West Lake Scenic Area, and it only takes 20 minutes to drive and take a taxi. If there are any problems during the stay. You can contact our hotel on-duty manager. Our hotel has staff on duty 24 hours a day. We look forward to your next check-in and show you our improvement. Hotel staff called my phone and once I spoke English, she just hung up on me without even a "bye" or "sorry no English." It left me worried if something went wrong with my booking. I checked in very late night, went to room and it was dirty with bits on floor and worst of all, stained bedsheets. They did change my room though but, difficult to communicate due to language barriers. Check-in staff forgot to give me my breakfast voucher and when asked, he said I didn't order but he was wrong, I did order. Breakfast was not good. Overall, it was fine since I stayed only 1 night
