Ulasan Hangzhou West Lake Liuyingli Hotel

We were a group of six, staying in three rooms, with five seniors among us. Everyone was very satisfied with the hotel's environment. The rooms were a bit small, but the bathrooms were quite spacious. Dinner at the Wenying Hall was also excellent.

For a leisure trip to Hangzhou, I stayed at the Xizi Hotel one day and then moved to the Liuyingli the next, and both were fantastic. Xizi Hotel felt grand and spacious, while Liuyingli was small but exquisite. Liuyingli used to be the Xia Family Garden, designed in the Suzhou garden style, with a very delicate central garden that's perfect for photos. From the hotel, you can see the Leifeng Pagoda in the distance. Strolling along the lake, with the scent of osmanthus in the air, even the breeze felt sweet. The hotel's breakfast was superb; personally, I thought it was even better than Xizi Hotel's. The bathroom was incredibly spacious, and taking a bath in the tub at night melted all the fatigue away – a truly wonderful experience.

The hotel has a great view. We stayed in an executive room facing the lake, and the weather was lovely for the two days we were there – perfect for an outing, but we ended up just lingering at the hotel. We enjoyed listening to the orioles sing and watching the willows. Even though there were many people by West Lake, the hotel itself was very quiet and comfortable. The tea house is right by the lake, perfect for sunbathing. The restaurant requires reservations for group deals, and we only went because we couldn't get into our room yet, but then found out we couldn't use the deal and had to order à la carte. Taxis are also convenient, as they can drive right in to pick you up.

This garden hotel by West Lake, while smaller than Wangzhuang or Liuzhuang, is still quite exquisite. The room itself was tiny, but the bathroom was surprisingly spacious. Dinner was quite mediocre; for several hundred per person, there wasn't even a tablecloth. Breakfast was even worse, pretty much on par with Atour. The service was decent, nothing special. Overall, it was just average.

The hotel boasts an excellent location right next to the Liu Lang Wen Ying Park, feeling like a secluded garden with its unique and beautiful scenery. From here, you can easily walk to attractions like Leifeng Pagoda and Su Causeway in the morning or evening. It's also convenient to call a taxi, even on holidays. The rooms feature a classic garden-style Chinese aesthetic, with particularly spacious bathrooms and good quality toiletries. It's incredibly quiet, making it ideal for families traveling with seniors. The hotel offers various transportation services, and the head of the car fleet is genuinely enthusiastic, providing guests with helpful tour route suggestions. Very nice indeed. My four-day stay at the hotel was a pleasant experience. Highly recommended!

The room was spacious with two sinks, which was very convenient for staying with my parents. The garden view was small but exquisite, and sitting in the pavilion enjoying the lake breeze was incredibly relaxing. The breakfast area was a bit small. The front desk and room service were good and very responsive.

We have stayed at this hotel before - it has always been our choice for all our past visits to West Lake since early 2000. Glad that it has never failed to meet our expectations especially after its latest renovations.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right by West Lake, and the Juejingyuan (Scenic Garden) inside is beautiful. The service is excellent; the lobby manager is very understanding, and the shorter male receptionist was also great. Definitely worth staying here.

My son and I took a short break and stayed by the beautiful West Lake in Hangzhou for a few days. The hotel is nestled in 'Orioles Singing in the Willows' (柳浪闻莺), one of the Ten Scenic Spots of West Lake. Its ambiance is elegant, delightful, and charmingly refined. The breathtaking beauty of West Lake is visible right from the hotel's doorstep; we simply couldn't get enough of the picturesque views! 💯 The hotel boasts comprehensive and comfortable facilities. From the welcome fruit upon check-in to the 10% dining discount at Wenyin Hall and 50% off evening tea at Tingli Pavilion, every detail made us feel incredibly welcome and at home. From the seamless check-in process and being personally escorted to our room, to the attentive room service and even casual conversations with staff in the garden, every interaction was met with thoughtful and genuine service. Even the in-room delivery service was a modern touch, with robots bringing our orders swiftly and politely to the room. Overall, it was a truly wonderful and satisfying experience. We've stayed at hotels near Slender West Lake and Yangcheng Lake before and weren't particularly impressed. However, entering this hotel located in the West Lake scenic area gave us an unexpected sense of comfort. Although the hotel has a classical style, the rooms are clean, tidy, and bright. The TV even has my favorite screen mirroring function, and the smart toilet is a Roca, which I'm very happy with! There's a TV in front of the bathtub 🛁, so you can watch TV while soaking – a great experience 👍. The hotel's breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of dishes, and the food tastes good. Many items change daily, showing the hotel's attentiveness. The restaurant staff are very diligent, quickly clearing plates, allowing us to enjoy our meal. We had dinner in the East Wing of Building 5, and the food was delicious. It would have been an even better experience if there had been some spacing between the dishes being served. Overall, it's a great hotel, and we'll definitely stay here again!

This hotel is right next to the Liulang Wenying scenic area, offering a tranquil escape from the bustling city. It boasts prime lake views, and there are several osmanthus trees in the courtyard, currently in full bloom, so you can easily enjoy their fragrance without even leaving the hotel. I stayed here many years ago during a trip to Hangzhou, so I specifically brought my family back this time. I felt that some of the room facilities were a bit dated, especially the wardrobe door in the bathroom, which was severely warped and made a loud noise when opened and closed. However, the hygiene was well-maintained, which was good. Overall, the double room wasn't very spacious, but the breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

The rooms were impeccably clean, and the staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful; you could tell they were well-trained. Another big plus is the hotel's location, right by West Lake, next to the Orioles Singing in the Willows scenic spot. Strolling through the hotel's private garden was so satisfying and relaxing. This hotel truly has a prime spot for watching the West Lake sunset. Getting to nearby attractions is also very convenient, whether you take a taxi or public transport.

This hotel is great (good location, nice environment), but about an hour after checking in, I had an indescribable feeling. I initially wanted to call Ctrip customer service immediately to cancel the order or complain, but it was hot and I was tired, so I just chalked it up to a stroke of bad luck. After checking in and putting away my luggage, I observed the room, especially the windows facing the lake. There were no buildings taller than our room outside, so I didn't even draw the curtains. After resting for a bit, I took a shower. When I came out, I looked up and saw someone looking into the room from outside. I let out a yelp. It turned out to be construction workers doing repairs. This is simply terrible management. If they're doing repairs, either don't assign guests to that room or inform the guests about the situation. Otherwise, situations like this are really upsetting!

After a careful selection process, I booked the Liuyingli Hotel, and I was not disappointed at all. It's a royal garden-style architecture right next to West Lake. The staff were kind and friendly, the room was clean, the bathroom was huge, and the soundproofing was excellent. It surpassed my previous stay at the Grand Hyatt. The front desk even gave me sachets as a parting gift when I checked out! 👍 Full marks, I'll definitely stay here again next time 😊
