We ended up having to come to this hotel location after our car broke down on 91 in Vermont at 1 o’clock in the morning. We got here after being towed at 5:15 and it took almost 40 minutes to check into a room that we had called about ahead of time. The receptionist was unable to use the computer properly couldn’t get it loaded, and told my husband we would have to leave and find somewhere else to stay. This was at 5:45 in the morning. I understand that the young lady was doing the best that she could but, perhaps management should ensure that their employees are sufficiently trained. My husband finally went online and booked through the online app so we were able to get into our room, after almost an hour. I was waiting outside with luggage and our 2 dogs. The room itself needs a lot of work, the decoration, lamps, and bathroom fixtures are shabby. The humidifier on the air conditioner made the floor carpet wet. To top it off there were bottles of water in the room that were free to members, but two dollars to everyone else. For the amount of money that this room cost, I would think that they would at least give you a bottle of water. As I said, unfortunately we came here because we had no other options, but I would suggest that you plan ahead and look to possibly stay somewhere else. Maybe that’s why this was the only place available.
