Havelock Island Beach Resort

TSG Blue, Havelock Islands deserves a rating of 5 star. We checked-in on 19th may and extended our stay till 23rd May because of the excellent hospitality provided by each and every staff member present. Special thanks to Mr. Bijoy(GM), Mr. Dashrath Rathore( Restaurant Manager), Mr Shukantu ( Head chef) and Trainees ( Monisha and Ritika). This is an awesome place for those looking for a luxurious stay at a nominal price. It is located on the blue certified Radha Nagar beach which is hardly a 5 min walk. The cottages were spacious, providing all the essentials and more. Room service and staff are at par with any 5 star level hotel. I would like to dedicate a few words especially to the head chef as he did a commendable job of serving us hot and mouth watering meals. Would highly recommend anyone travelling to Havelock to do stay at this property and make your trip a memorable one. Attaching a snap of us with these amazing staff members.

Very nice experience, good food, great atmosphere, swimming pool and a private beach. Rooms are comfortable, my kids had great experience in the resort. Had tasty food in the in-house restaurant. Very thoughtfully planned scuba diving with very professional trainers.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this Hotel , where I experienced firsthand the exceptional management skills of Varun Gupta. From the moment I arrived, it was evident that Varun Gupta took care with a high level of professionalism, dedication, and a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction.

I have been to few beach resorts, but this resort has a distinction of being just near to the water. My review is as follows: Pros - The location deserves 5 star. We were welcomed with cold freshly cut home grown coconut water. The staff at the reception was good in the beginning. After reaching the HIBR, we went straight to the beach (hardly 100 m) which is part of the property. The staff arranged the rooms and made sure that our luggage reach to our rooms promptly. It is a very serene and calm area with no bustling sounds. Wooden rooms gave a very authentic feelings and area around room is covered with greenery. The rooms were tidy. The swimming pool is appx. 4 ft. 6 inches and fully functional. The place is just appx. 1.5 kms from the Ferry point. If you are interested in Scuba diving, they provide the services with certified trainers, even though they are slightly expensive but it is worth the experience. The trainers train you first in the swimming pool and make you comfortable before going in the real waters. There are many good restaurants within walking distance. The night music is added advantage if you like to party. In terms of location and condition of rooms, 5 stars. It is a must to visit place even if you are staying somewhere else. Cons - The hotel service needs to be improved. I would rate 3.5 out of 5. We booked during the lean season (in May 24) and there were many concerns raised by the fellow couples that even after reminding 2-3 times, the services didn’t respond. Also, we booked the overall package at Port Blair and Havelock, the services provided at Port Blair was more than expectations (5 ratings) but at Havelock it was not that great. We had to remind for the cab availability every time and at the end of the tour, we were provided with only one cab to adjust 09 peoples. The restaurant also needs improvement. We ate at the restaurant and then we explored the nearby restaurants as we didn’t like the food. Also, we were checking early and the staff were very reluctant to provide us the packaged breakfast. After persuading with them, they just packed bread with mayo and 2-3 vegetables (they were calling it sandwiches). In terms of services, I would rate 3.5 stars. If you go for the package, please connect with Ms. Shanu. She is very good in understanding the needs of the client and provides customised packages to cater the needs. I am very much satisfied with the prompt response and positive vibes. I was in talks with different package tours company but after speaking with Ms. Shanu, I stopped everywhere else. 5+ ratings to her for making this journey memorable. Overall, I rate this tour 4 ratings.

Upon reaching there we got a welcome drink. Nice ambiance Every night we can enjoy max if interested in Dj They provide super abiant candil light dinner on request. Great location private beach side . Food on Alacart is smart but buffet breakfast is not upto the mark

Amazing experience at the resort. I stayed with my family for 3 nights and had the best time here. The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated and give you very warm and cozy feels. The property itself looks quite stunning with wooden furnishings. They also have a pool beside a private beach that guests can use and on-site diving center to plan your diving and snorkeling trips. The food is good here as well and staff is friendly too. Overall, I didn’t face any issues during my stay here. :) would highly recommend to everyone visiting havelock!

Experience was decent, ambience is good, it's off season so quite nice and peaceful place to stay. Wifi issues are there in connectivity sometimes. Washroom cleanliness required also tap water is not very clean but can bath. All the best team for betterment.
