The location is good, the room was ok, just was facing the street and it was a kind of noisy late at night. The kitchen is rather spacious.

The stay was amazing since there was a luggage room access, kitchen area to cook food, scenic tables with great ambience and they organise events every night.

The location is excellent, with a train station, supermarket, and many shopping malls nearby. Every day, there are various free drinks and group activities. The kitchen is great, with plenty of refrigerators. There are also many dining areas and numerous rooms. The service staff are enthusiastic and available 24 hours a day.

The location was super, right in the center and only a 30-minute walk to the Opera House. However, the people there tend to stick to their own groups, and it's really hard to strike up a conversation, so it's not ideal for solo travelers. The kitchen was okay, adequately equipped. Unfortunately, the rooms didn't have curtains on the beds (which were very shaky), and there are only lockers that you have to pay for. They don't explain much to you; you have to figure out where everything is and how it works yourself (for example, that you need to bring an extra cooler bag with a zipper)... If you can, try not to get a room facing outwards – there's so much noise all night long that even earplugs won't help. So, overall, it's pretty mediocre. The location is good if you're out and about all day anyway and just need a place to sleep.

The advantage is its proximity to Chinatown and supermarkets. The downsides are that the hotel is like a maze with too many rooms, and the bathrooms are too few and not very clean. The kitchen is relatively clean, but it only has an air fryer, no oven.

Terrible, couldn't sleep at all. The cleanliness was also a mess, and to top it off, check-out was at 10 AM.

I wouldn't recommend this place for solo travelers. The room was tiny and stuffy, with no air conditioning, only a fan, which made it incredibly hot during the summer. Plus, there's no elevator, so you have to lug all your luggage up by hand.

Mediocre value for money. The room stank. I booked a single room, but the mattress was quite comfortable.

Very good hostel, perfect location near all the main sights.

The hostel is old and not lovely to stay. But it’s still quiet(depends on which room you stay).

The actual place looks much older than in the pictures. The single room amenities were very basic: just a bed, a simple cabinet, a clothes rack, a mirror, and a fan (quite high up) – no air conditioning. The street-facing room was very noisy. The shared bathrooms had two hot showers and three toilets. There are only stairs, no elevator, which is inconvenient if you have luggage. The front desk had a pride flag hanging, and they were quite friendly. It's very convenient that Coles and a shopping mall are just across the street, and it's not far from the Museum and Central stations.

For the price without lockers in the room and bedside charging is a little too much IMO. Otherwise great events being held at the hostel.

It was alright, nothing particularly special. I was very comfortable staying there by myself.
