When we arrived after 3 o'clock we were told there was no TV or internet and not nicely. then we were not told that breakfast was from 6am to 9am on the weekends so we had to go across the street to eat breakfast. then the room was supposed to be handicap accesible but the shower was walkin with no hold bars or seating. the bed was so high that I had to find something to climb up on to get into it. Not enough towels in the bathroom either. I travel often and this location was not a good experience.

We stayed for a number of days and loved the room. Everything was clean and very nice. Only one thing was lacking and that was the breakfast. If you didn't get there right away, there was always very little left, and we were always up early. Some days, plenty of eggs, but hardly any bacon or sausage. It was very sporadic. We ended up picking breakfast up outside the hotel. The staff (front desk folks and head of the cleaning staff) were all so nice and helpful!

I was unexpectedly kicked out of my house because of an emergency and this seemed like a good spot to hang out for a few days. Totally met and exceeded my expectations. From the time I checked in to leaving, the staff were all spot on. Parking was easy, which isn't always the case with some hotels. They even had a pool, so next time I'll remember the swim trunks when I have to leave the house quickly! I'm a bit of a hotel snob, so was quite happy with the way the room turned out. All the things I would expect plus a nice bed. I absolutely LOATHE the shower containers with soap in them. Really loved that they provided soap and it was up to me which to choose. I would definitely stay again, just hopefully under different circumstances next time.

Hotel was better than expected. From the outside, hotel seems older and very simple. I was worried from 1st impression. I needed to find a hotel for the Labor Day weekend that was not expensive but descent. For no more than $260 for 2 nights, I can say that I was very pleased. Hotel room was clean. I chose 1st floor, non smoking. We had a fridge and a microwave, which was very helpful. Breakfast was included. Some reviews complain about not having waffles. But how can I complain when I has free eggs, sausage patties, cereal, bagels, toasted bread, sweet bread, diff fruit yogurt, milk, coffee, orange and Apple juice, etc. This is a great breakfast in my opinion. The pool is smaller than I thought, and nobody seemed to want to get in it. Not sure if it was cleaned enough to swim in it, but the sitting area was decent enough to sit and relax. Sunday night we took out our bbq pit and decided to have a nice bbq dinner by the pool and listened to some music and have some drinks. Overall, the stay was excellent. I had my 18 month old twins, and my husband. Felt very safe. Another couple also stayed in the same hotel and they were very pleased. Would recommend it. Front desk service was pleasant.

CONS: Poor management, poor service and communication, unpleasant noise from Air Conditioning.
We booked a Lucky Arrow cabin via Trip.com. Shortly after the completion of payment, we received a confirmation email from Trip.com with a receipt attached. ”Please show your confirmation number and PIN number to the reception.” ” Check-in after 16:00.” ” 2- person breakfast included.” We later found out that none of this information was correct.
(1) When we arrived at Lucky Arrow Retreat around 7pm, there was no reception to be found and we were trapped outside a closed gate. We tried the PIN number from the email, it turned out to be incorrect. I called Lucky Arrow a total of 8 times and sent a message to an ”assistance number” printed on the lock of the gate. No one answered the phone. We were stuck outside the gate for 20 minutes and very frustrated. While we waited, there was no reply back from Lucky Arrow. We almost drove to Austin to find somewhere else to stay. We eventually got a text message back asking our names and gave us the instruction of how to unlock the main gate and our reserved cabin.
After we got past the main gate, we found there was literally nobody managing the property. We did not feel safe staying here due to the lack of any assistance from them if there is any emergency going on during our stay.
(2) There was no breakfast despite what was advertised.
(3) The exit gate remained OPEN when we were leaving after self check-out. It appears that anyone can drive in from that exit gate which gives the guests no privacy and makes the place unsafe.
The Lucky Arrow Retreat needs a lot of improvement in communication, as we did not receive any information regarding the check-in procedure and it was difficult to contact any staff during our stay.

PPengguna TetamuThe most recent reviews for this hotel were negative but as they were over two years old I took a chance. Im glad that I did. The hotel was clean and in good repair. The matress was great and shower water hot. The personnel were efficient and friendly. The young man at check in cheerfully went to es=xtra effort. At check out the lady followed us out to take luggage cart back in for us. There was daily maid service. Something not seen recently at other hotels.. The breakfast was good by covid stanrdards. The limited items were brand name and good quality. The price and location were great. The only negative was that the indoor pool was too cold to use due to necessary heater part being on back order. I'll call first next time to check status. I do plan on using this hotel again in the future.

PPengguna TetamuBed, shower, and overall room was clean and comfortable. Missing smoke detector was exposed wires. No markings on AC to control heat or air. Holes in sheets and towels. No breakfast as advertised just poor quality packaged pastries and water down orange drink. Can’t use AARP on Fridays or Saturdays only during the week day. Overall for the purpose we were there to see a high school playoff it worked for us just wish we could’ve had breakfast As advertised included in the price of the room. I would possibly stay there again in the future if the price was reasonable. Which it was that Friday night which is one of the reasons I chose it and because it included breakfast.
