I last visited this place about 20 to 25 years ago when I was a kid. Whilst nostalgic, nothing has really been upgraded to accommodate the energy issues and water issues in SA. A gas stove and emergency light would go a long way and fixing the plumbing so the taps didn't run even when tightened would mean less water wastage. I don't think the main bedroom mattress had been changed forv at least 25 years, lumpy pillows, lumpy mattress and scratchy blankets, I think we can do better team Eagle's Nest! Riekie was so lovely and helpful and so were the staff, I just wish this place from my childhood would upgrade a bit. As a sustainabllility consultant, there was so much I could see that needed work. Other than that, it was a lovely two days.

a beautiful place to stay .peaceful and tranquil.. Management and staff extremely helpful especially Rieke. I felt totally rested. i sincerely wish I could have stayed longer but my timing did not allow it.

Eagles Nest offers lovely accommodation. We booked 2 chalets for 3 nights at the end of December 2022. Rooms were clean and everything we needed was available. The views are fantastic and we were close to all the activities offered in the Hazyview area. The pool area and garden was enjoyed by both adults and children.

Nice simple clean accomodation, though its far but overall we enjoyed our time. Rooms needs a little bit of revamp, airconditioning, Television 🤪 Manager and staff very friendly . Thank you for the warm welcome Eagle Nest.

Had a great stay, would recommend you guys anytime. The idea was to get away a d enjoy some Tranquility, that we did and the setup was exactly what we wanted. The staff and Rikie made it worthwhile, I will not think twice by coming back.

You get value for money, the location is beautiful and Rickie is the sweetest you'd swear we had met before.. Going back soon 😁oh and there is a variety of activities you can do close by and they are very affordable

My family and I enjoyed the stay in Hazyview. We lived in a place that we were taken care of. The hosts showed us attractive thimgs we could do in Mpumalanga and they organised a Safari trip for us. The place was very clean, with very friendly staff. It was so nice to have a host who was always willing to chat and ensure that we were enjoying our stay. I take my hat for the manager of Eagle Nest chalets, she makes sure that customers are happy.

eagles nest is a nice retreat for families. It has all the basic needs and has a wonderful and big swimming pool. The sound of the waterfall is soothing. The only downside is the short stretch of gravel road which can be tricky in rain and at night.
