Hotel Heerlen dengan Spa

Een eenvoudig hotel in een wat rommelige buurt op een industrieterrein. Prima voor een doorreis naar de volgende bestemming. Ontzettend vriendelijk personeel (maar dan ook echt !) dat de receptie, bar en restaurant bemand. Toen ik (vrouw) ‘s avonds op een doordeweekse dag incheckte zat de bar vol en een paar tafels in het restaurant met alleen maar mannen die daar duidelijk voor hun werk moesten blijven overnachten. In het weekend zal dit vast anders zijn. Het eten was ronduit slecht, het bed gelukkig erg goed en de kamer verder prima maar sober. Ik miste een uitklapbaar hotel koffer standaard en föhn bijvoorbeeld. Wel fijn dat er een koffieapparaat staat met 2 cupjes maar aangekoekte zakjes melkpoeder. Het hotel ligt langs de snelweg en als je ventilatie wil moet een klapraam open. Dankzij zeer goede oordoppen heb ik een prima nachtrust gehad. De lage prijs, het goede bed en het super aardige personeel maakten het verschil in dit hotel, daarom geef ik het 4 sterren

Restobar G1 itself is only open for dinner from Thursday to Saturday. Our breakfast buffet is, of course, ready for you every morning on the first floor.The elevator can only be used by guests during reception opening hours. With the exception of the opening hours of Restobar G1, when open it is possible to use this. This implies that our hotel is less suitable for disabled guests.Parking is possible at one of the two Q-park garages, both covered and only a three-minute walk away from our hotel. Service was goed. Kamer compleet. Ontbijt goed verzorgd en ruime keus. Helaas hadden wij de Kamer boven de Irish Pub. Dat is knap waardeloos. Tot 4.00 uur geen oog dicht gedaan. Ondanks ramen dicht ventilator aan, ook geen airco, en was erg warm....Deze kamers boven de pub zouden eigenlijk nuet gebruikt moeten worden......

This is a very nice place and probably we would stay again. It is in a historic building and that comes with certain quirks. The biggest thing to know is it’s not for people who are physically limited. You don’t park near the entrance and there are no elevators to the room. Everything has steps and there is no assistance offered, so unless you get a ground floor room you are toting your bags up the narrow steps. We are fully able so it wasn’t a problem. The grounds are gorgeous and the staff generally very nice and helpful. It’s a bit odd though as it combines high luxury with low frills, such as no help with bags. They seemed a bit understaffed. The food is great but expensive if you dine in. Not unreasonable for the food but high for every day dining. Overall the stay was very good but a bit on the expensive side. One oddity was we wanted to stay an extra night ( we emailed a few weeks ahead and got no reply) and when we inquired as we checked in were told they had a room but they couldn’t book us at the front desk we had go online. We decided to move on.
