We stay here for 4 nights with a group of friends. It is not far from Interlaken West station (lee than 10 minutes walk) It has nice room, comfy bed but a little soft and fluffly pillow. The location is quite good, near supermarket and restaurants. Nice staff. Very good breakfast. It provide a lot of amenities with 2 bottles of mineral water everyday. Also have common room for guest's leisure and have some snacks.

Spiez is a pretty town and this is a pretty hotel. We travelled as a family and had two adjacent rooms. Our purpose was to take part in the triathlon in Thun and it’s very hard to get hotel rooms so we were lucky and had the last two rooms, facing the street rather than the lake, but we could go to the roof terrace to relax and enjoy the view. It was quiet and comfortable, the food was very good (the owners are Italian and Swedish) and the staff are very friendly.

We were very happy with the Hey Hotel. The staff were courteous and caring, the property was ideally located and the rooms were cool. The bathrooms were clean and modern. Interlaken is a picturesque town but Grindelwald was actually nicer and east access to Jungfraujoch. I would stay here again.

This review was written by my 8-year old daughter: About this hotel: It is a family hotel. If you are a kid, the first thing they are going to do is give you a teddy bear. It has a swimming pool and a gym. The swimming pool is really cool and it has a small waterfall built into a rock. The gym is quite big itself but we didn't go there. It has a nice view and a nice hotel restaurant. The food is really good and they have a really great breakfast. You order the main food and you get to choose the side dishes from a breakfast bar. For the main food, I picked omelet - it is quite yummy but it was not salty enough. For the side dishes, I picked cereal, kiwi and juice. They were all really yummy and sweet. You should go to Dorint. I give this hotel a five star review. -- From the parents' side a few additional notes: On the negative side - There is no AC in the apartment, so while this may not matter in the summer, it was quite warm during our visit (30-35C). It cools off nicely in the evening, but there are no screens on the window, so you'll likely end up with a few moths or other bugs in the room if you leave the windows open. On the positive side, they really cater well to families - from the teddy bear at check-in to a little board game on the back of the kids menu, to the small playground area (which seemed to be good for 4-6 year olds). Best and biggest hotel in Spiez, all the employees are nice and friendly service except someone works at the reception. When I after spend 3 nights and checking out but past the check out time, he said you need to charge 50 extra fee I said ok, but by the way your bed is two beds combo together a little bit uncomfortable, he was prostrating and holding up his chin at the reception, said I don’t need you to inform that because of your bad leave …blabla… I was like excuse me??? Is that a kind of sentence could’ve said from a hotel reception employee? Anyway, after picking my luggages , I went downstairs and ask to check out but changed others seems like management level to serve because “I don’t like his attitude ”, he gives no commentary or asks, ok you have a very nicely work environment, good for you: ) And that impolite person is really friendly to serve other German speak couples, But if you have racist problems to Asian people, at least show some professionalism attitude at work in a hotel service industry, especially in Swiss have very famous expertise about “Hotel management ”,ok? 可以说是Spiez最好最大的一个酒店，但是前台有个叫Kass的员工，简直是目前见过的服务最差的前台，也不知道是racist还是什么的，退房时候说超时了要付钱，好，没问题，我就说了一下所谓的大床房是俩床拼一起的，不大舒服，他撅着屁股趴在前台，托着下巴说I don't need you to inform that because your bad leave我整一个黑人问号脸???作为酒店服务行业你******?再下来check out我说要换个人服务，I don't like his attitude旁边看起来经理模样的人也没有问发生了什么，表现的好像有病的人是我，我的好同事辛苦啦的样子，然后这位Kass马上非常开心的服务旁边说德语的人，anyway，除了这位Kass妥妥的 racist，其他人都很Nice，受不了这种情况的人，慎选！！

We really enjoyed our four night stay at this hotel. This is far from a new hotel, but it has been renovated into great shape, and it gets plenty of traffic. We loved the location of the hotel and the views from our panoramic balcony room--fantastic scenery over Thunersee and the mountains beyond. The lake boat service (including the antique paddlewheeler) makes it a very interesting locale, as does the lakeside walking path. Room was nicely updated and furnished--slippers, in-room coffee, in-room mini-fridge, safe, ice available from the bar. No bathrobes, however. I highly recommend a balcony room here because of the dramatic views of the lake. Breakfast was hearty, but not adequately restocked later in the service period. Dinner at the restaurant was pricey, but that's typical in Switzerland. Free oudoor parking nearby. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Two thumbs up for them!! I strongly recommend staying in the main Bellevue au Lac building. This hotel also offers rooms in an adjacent building, ”Stella del Lago by Bellevue au Lac”. At this time, I think this is an inferior property and still needs work. The Stella restaurant and terrace are currently closed, and its guests use the Bellevue au Lac restaurant facilities for breakfast and dinner.

Un séjour sans faute ! Accueil très professionnel et agréable, nous avons eu la bonne surprise de recevoir un upgrade et de dormir dans une magnifique (et très grande) suite au dernier étage de l'hôtel. Chambre très calme avec une vue sur le lac à couper le souffle. Le restaurant de l'hôtel est excellent avec comme seul bémol le prix prohibitif de l'eau, qui est facturée 14 francs.. le litre ! Mis à part cette mauvaise surprise, tout était parfait et excellent. Petit déjeuner parfait sur la terrasse, piscine avec jacuzzi et sauna idéal. Bref un très bon séjour dans cet hôtel que je recommande vivement !
