Wonderful large, pleasant bedroom and large, well equipped bathroom (two sinks, large tub and walk in shower, bidet). Very good breakfast buffet with hot foods cooked to order. Very friendly and helpful front desk. Pleasant. very large lobby bar with limited food, sometimes used a waiting area for tour groups (not good). Centrally located in good area. Can walk to many shops, cafes, and a small harbor. One of our favorite hotels.

I look forward to coming back. We had a family room, 1 king size bed and another large bed (queen) for 2 kids. The location is perfect as it is nearby everywhere we wanted to go. The room design is great, homey and warm. We had a sauna in our room and got to try it. We had a bathtub which my kids enjoyed. Everything ia provided. The best part was the breakfast buffet-my kids loved the DIY waffles and the juicer! I enjoyed the healthy juices and salmon. The service was great. We had a lot of luggages which the hotel agreed to keep even after check out while we walked around the city while waiting for our train ride. Loved our stay here! ❤️

This hotel is beautiful! We loved staying here for a night in March. The included breakfast was one of the best I had while visiting Finland. It had a great selection of fresh food and the dining area was nice. Our sauna in our room was the major reason I booked this hotel, and it was well worth it. Even though it was winter and snowing outside, the balcony was a great feature. After having the sauna on for a while, the room got pretty hot, so I got to open the doors and feel the icy air come into the room. So relaxing. One thing that got old was the videos of the other resorts on repeat in the elevator and dining area. We loved the Sami music playing in the room upon check in though. It was a great touch.

整體都很滿意了，服務人員的態度超級Nice，女生都很漂亮和耐看，芬蘭的姑娘好像都好看，就是早餐的選擇有的少，估計和北歐人節約環保意識有關，咖啡管飽，酸奶暢飲，樓下就是商業體，購物方便，步行到芬蘭大教堂、設計博物館等景點衹有20分鐘以內。

I found the Crowne Plaza to be immaculate. It's about the price of one of the UK's hotel chains but vastly more for your money. Free WiFi, wonderful room with personalised TV with built in Chromecast. I loved both Helsinki and the Crowne Plaza. Really friendly and helpful staff. I had a nice chat with the cleaners.

Prime location in the city centre. However, the amenities are worse than other hotels I’ve stayed in Helsinki and come at a cost (ie. Sauna and gym) when other hotels offer them for free. Breakfast is OK but I’d suggest skipping and buying something nice from the various options nearby in the area. Asked for late checkout and was told it would cost 10eur per our, which is ridiculous considering other hotels usually offer a few hours up to a certain point for free. Good hotel for its location but quite pricey and you don’t get too much out of it.

This place hands down is an absolutely unique experience on its own, to voluntarily stay in a prison haha. The staff was extremely personable, knowledgeable and helpful with any requests we had. We were staying there to celebrate New Year's Eve and they recommend it lots of great places to go. The hotel/ prison itself was amazing just to be in. The restaurant downstairs had exceptional food for dinner and breakfast. Will definitely stay longer on our next vacation. The hotel is within walking distance to the center of the city as well as the Capitol building. The location is perfect if you want to celebrate New Year's Eve festivities which are held in the plaza outside of the Capitol building. Unforgettable time!

Overall really nice and centrally located hotel. Close to the main railway station. All floors have different themes related to Finnish nature (Winter storm, Midsummer, Fairytale forest, Sisu, Tranquility) and the front desk let us choose between a couple of themes. We weren't sure what they were going to be like, but chose Fairytale forest, which was ok. The room was a bit on the small side and with a view to an inner courtyard - however this was to be expected with the room type. The room was really quiet, which was a bonus in the middle of the city! Breakfast was nice, mostly European style with breads etc. Would definitely recommend the hotel for the central location and Finnish style, if you want to experience that.

They provided excellent bunch of information regarding the transportation, the restaurant and caffe places near by and in general they were really helpful. The room was clean and cozy. We stayed two and a half months. There are 3 blocks of self-check-in apartments (A, B and C) in this property which are all connected from the basement. The entrance code will be emailed to you after 4:00 pm. Call customer service if you face a problem and the phone number is on the entrance door. Pros -Good central location: 10 min walk to Kamppi mall, metro, tram and bus stations. -The floor plan of the apartment was good. Enough space allocation to kitchen, bedroom, living room and all of these had windows to the outside. -The bedroom had lots of closets. -Our flat had balcony. -The Wi-Fi was good, and the lighting was ok Cons -The building is old and has a small lift that doesn’t go to the basement (-1 level) where all common facilities such as luggage room, saunas, garbage room, etc. are located so you need to use stairs. -There are also some stairs to reach the lift from the street with no ramp for wheelchairs or luggage. -Huge construction is going on next to block C (very noisy and disturbing). -There is a large school facing block C and B and children making lots of noise. -The apartment needs some renovation (old furniture, broken sofa bed with deformed sponge, broken shower handle, etc.) -Cleaning was not good, much dust on and under sofa bed and on the radiators and under TV Stand, stains on the walls, burnt rice stuck in one of the pots and was not cleaned, electric kettle was rusty. We had paid for apartment cleaning every two weeks, but we were not happy with the work of cleaner and we ended up doing the cleaning ourselves. -The bathroom radiator was cold and couldn’t be fixed during our stay. - Inside temperature was mostly about 18 degrees Celsius during November; The living room window was not insulated and heating system was not functioning well. -Apartment service was not satisfying in case of repair and fixes and took lot of time (some cases did not even get fixed); If you are lucky and spare part is available it may take between 3-10 working days otherwise you better forget about it. -High price so not good value for money considering the issues. -There is no safety deposit box in the flat. -Customer service personnel have the entrance code and they may come and go to your flat without prior notice no matter if you are present or not.
