Harbour House was a lovely set up and perfect location. Loved it!

Superb location , sea views

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel whilst on a road trip along the Garden Route We decided to upgrade our room for the 2 nights at a very small cost as it had a sea view and with binoculars we could watch whales in the bay - Southern Right Whales females calf’s and males The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble There are no facilities to eat dinner but there are plenty of restaurants in Hermanus for all tastes and preferences Breakfast was cooked to order and was amazing - no need for lunch We worth considering staying if you are traveling the garden route

We had a really lovely stay at this hotel. We were there for 2 nights and both rooms were spotless and had balconies that had sea views. They have plenty of parking, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. We didn’t use the pool as it was a bit cold. If you get a chance do the cliff walk you’ll see lots of nature and some great views. The local restaurants are also very good. Highly recommended.

Kids loved the buffet breakfast. Would recommend trying their amazing homemade jams. The staff serving a breakfast were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful setting for a hotel. We sat on the sun lounges looking out over the mountains and sea front. We stayed in the le paradis apartments at the harbour House hotel. They were very clean, spacious and felt luxurious.

We booked self catering apartments. The location was good. The apartment had everything we needed. They have a good secure car park. The breakfast was located in the main hotel and was lovely, lots of choice. Staff were great and very helpful.. The reception staff checked out whale watching tours in the area and booked the trip we wanted to do for us. If ever we come back we would stay here again.

I really like this hotel. The reasons being - it’s not over priced, it has lovely rooms and it’s super central. The staff are incredibly friendly and it’s great. I have stayed in another main hotel in Hermanus but I found that to be very overpriced for what it is. This hotel works perfectly for a one or two night stay.

We recently stayed at Harbour House and had the most amazing time. The location, the view, the staff, the service, the breakfast and atmosphere of the hotel is nothing short of fab! We love everything about this hotel and would like to thank the amazing staff! See you all soon!

The location of this hotel cannot be beat. Breakfast at the pool every morning overlooking the ocean is stunning incredible. Close to shops, restaurants and the water we could not ask for a better location. The room was beautiful and service exceptional. We will definitely be back!

Our family has been visiting this hotel in Hermanus many times over the past years. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and the views fabulous. Love the large morning buffet style breakfast and good supply of coffee and tea.

Another fantastic week spent at Harbour House. Great location. Our room in the Manor House was spacious and comfortable but no aircon for those that prefer it. A fan was supplied which was adequate as the weather was not too hot. Loved the wood fired hot tub.

The most spectacular panoramic view from pool & breakfast area and from our room as we were lucky enough to get a sea facing room. Lovely, attentive staff. Excellent included breakfast. Rooms are nice, comfortable, if a little bland. Location is amazing - walking to all shops, cafes, bars, restaurants, in the centre of town.

From the friendly accommodating staff to the setting of this amazing hotel, we thoroughly enjoyed the 12 days we spent here. We could tell the standards are set high at this hotel. We stayed in the new wing which is just behind manor house and the rooms are big and spacious. Be careful when booking as the hotel has other buildings, I can only recommend manor house and new wing.

This is such a perfect place! You can see the ocean and probably the whales, When they are here, from the pool!!! It is not close to the center. It is the center!
