We had a beautiful meal last night for my birthday could not fault anything.well done to the chef. Staff were friendly very efficient. Did not have to wait long although they were very busy. Will certainly be returning.

A brilliant the first of the fortnightly pie nights. Available a veg , a beef and Guinness and a balti pie available with either hand cut chips or mash and veg,

Booked here for Sunday lunch for 14 of us On arrival we was asked if we would like water at the table which we said we would, 3 bottles of water with screw tops were placed on the table but we didn’t think anything of it. We placed our food order and 1 hour later our food was served to us, we then had to keep chasing the staff as we were missing items We then decided to have desserts, we were given menus but nobody came back to the table to take our order, so again we had to ask a member of staff to do this. Around 50 minutes later we received our desserts. Some were ok and some were not. When we got our bill to work out what we needed to pay between us all we had 3x£5 on the bill which wasn’t clear so we questioned it, only to be told it was for the water We wasn’t told at the time we needed to pay for it either, we was just asked if we would like some. Needless to say we will not be returning after this whole experience

I saw a recent video review of The Marsham Arms by Alex Green on Facebook - he spoke so highly of the food that I felt I had to visit and certainly wasn't disappointed. Booked by phone with a really polite young lady known as "Taya" - really efficient and pleasant manner. Was visiting with my partner for the first time since the new management took over and she and I were really pleased to have done so. I chose the same food that Alex Green referred to in his review - ie: Crispy Chicken starter and Crispy Chilli Beef for main course - both of these were excellent and I would highly recommend them. My partner chose a Prawn starter followed by Beer Battered Haddock - she, like me, was really pleased with her choices. The food was really good value for money too. I have to acknowledge the two members of staff that looked after us so well - Hannah serving the drinks and Natalie who took our order and served us with the excellent food that was delivered very promptly without fuss. Just back from another great 3 night stay at The Marsham Arms. The new owner Steve and his team were very welcoming, friendly and efficient. The food was perfectly cooked and of excellent quality. Will look forward to returning soon and would highly recommend the Marsham Arms to anyone looking for good food and excellent hospitality.

We have just stayed here for 5 days over 'Twixtmas' to enable us to stay locally for a close family funeral, together with friends over from the US and our Black Lab. From the get go (even calling up to make a booking or 3 that later needed some tweaking...thanks Ollie!) all was done to make us welcome, comfortable and cared for - right across the team; Nigel, Jean, Becky, Sadie, Ollie and others (sorry, could remember all!) We ate like kings! Breakfast was pre-ordered the night before (great plan!) and the bacon was delicious! If you cap it off with great value and a selection of brilliant locally made Ales & Gin, it was superb! Thanks Team Marsham!

Marsham Arms Coaching Inn 40 Holt Road . Booked with their website online very good price. Pleasantly surprised how nice the room was. nice bed, sofa, comp water tea/ bics etc. Huge bathroom with a shower one side and a bath the other. A nice breakfast included was very tasty. Plenty on offer. Would def recommend a stay here.
