Hotel berhampiran shukkeien, Hiroshima

Very easy and convenient to book on Trip.com. Hotel location is very convenient as it is less than 19 minutes walk from the Hiroshima Station. Room was clean and cosy. Reception staff was friendly and helpful.

PROS: Unbeatable central location in Hiroshima with large, clean rooms and great views of the city. The rooms were reasonably priced. CONS: This hotel is extremely dated and ultimately this impacted on the comfort of our stay - neither of us slept well on any night due to very old bed/pillows. They were also strict about their 15.00 check in time (seemingly regardless of whether our room was ready or not). This led to unnecessary queues from 15.00 onwards. Overall, would book elsewhere if staying again for more than 1 night in Hiroshima.

Excellent location a few minutes walk from Hiroshima railway station. We had a connecting room which has an interior door between the adjacent double room and twin room, allowing you to move between them. The hotel rooms are compact, but functional and comfortable. Especially the double room, the kids had more room in their twin room. It can accommodate up to four people, making it ideal for families or friends.

Номера с новым ремонтом в европейском стиле. Шторы блэкаут, мягкие широкие кровати, хорошо спать. Есть ниша под кроватью для хранения чемодана, это очень удобно. Просторный санузел с душевой кабиной, хороший напор воды, но трудно настроить температуру воды, внезапно идет холодная вода, очень неприятно. Кондиционер издавал неприятный шум при работе, номер сразу поменяли. Окна не открываются совсем, но есть приточный вентиляционный клапан. Предоставляются тапочки, халаты, одноразовые принадлежности. На 3 этаже есть стиральные и сушильные машины, средство для стирки можно взять на ресепшене. Завтрак великолепный, есть много азиатских блюд, также есть вареные овощи и нейтральные продукты без специй. Жаль, что не предоставляют питьевую воду для гостей, только вендинг машины в холле. Также в холле есть микроволновка. Персонал очень вежливый и старается помочь решить вопросы.

The hostel is modern and has all the required amenities of kitchen, laundry and friendly staff. My private room with ensuite/bathroom was quite a lot larger than I expected (compared to Japanese standards), with a queen bed and small counter area with seat. The location was fairly central with walking distance to the Museum, Park and castle areas. Plus close to restaurants. Highly recommend WeBase for anyone staying in Hiroshima.

Perfect location for the main sights of Hiroshima - we walked to them all from the hotel but if you want to get the loop bus, there’s a bus stop right outside the hotel. Room was well sized and very clean and comfortable although probably a little dated. The view was our room was very special though! A final bonus, a free happy hour for guests on the top floor! Staff were all really friendly :) I would stay here again.

広電の中電前駅から徒歩すぐにあります。広電の系統図がやや複雑でたどり着くのに少し時間が掛かりましたが、平和資料館や原爆ドーム、飲食店に近く困りませんでした 　ドーミインだけに、夜鳴きそば、アメニティ、朝食、温泉は裏切らないです。 　温泉は他のドーミインと比べるとやや狭く、露天風呂も小規模でした。朝食は、穴子飯、もみじ饅頭、レモン水などご当地の食材もあって良かったです。ただ、もみじ饅頭の置いてあったエリアが目立たなかったので食べ損ないました。

The bedlinen is super soft to sleep on. Nice river views too right in front of my room. Love the location too. Very close to all the attraction I needed to go. We love this hotel very much. Thumb up for this hotel.

If you’re looking for relaxation and escapism from the hustle and bustle of the city, do come here. The surrounding is calm and quiet especially the view from the window is superb! Beautiful views of the sea and mountains.

Good points: 1. Location is amazing since it’s right on the island and everything is within walking distance. 2. We had breakfast and supper included in the stay. Food was varied and plentiful for most palates. Plenty of fruit and veg too. 3. Staff for 98% of the time was great. Language barriers are expected. Google translate is a perfect alternative to the translation issue. The front desk staff were awesome and was extremely helpful. 4. Room is spacious for a traditional Japanese hotel. We had our own onsen which was delightful. The beds were mostly comfortable and we had two full mattresses pushed together creating a massive king! 5. Once you enter the hotel you must take off your shoes and the hotel provides house slippers which generally fit most people. The lobby has shoe cubbies for your shoes. They do not lock, but Japan has very little petty theft so you don’t need to fret over potential thievery. Negative points: 1. This is of no fault of the hotel, rather it’s a Google maps problem. Be aware Google maps will basically have you climb the mountain and drag your suitcase through a dirt path. Instead put in the Miyajima post office and with the water to your right, turn up to the small road with the post office to your back. Keep going straight for about 2.5 city blocks and you’ll walk right into the hotel. Much easier than the 40 minute hike we took. 2. Restaurant staff on the whole were great. Only issue was this morning when we went to breakfast this morning and tried to sit in our usual table, the staff tried to sit us with some other people. I asked if we could sit at a different table and the individual said no and walked away. We didn’t know these people they tried to sit us with. However, they were tourists like us. I was frustrated because the staff member just walked away from us when I was still speaking to him. Very rude! 3. The toilet room smelled really bad. It was a combination of mold and chemicals.
