The worst hotel stay experience I have ever had.
I made a room reservation and paid in full through the app. When I arrived at the hotel to check in, I was informed that there was no room available for me because the hotel claimed they had received an email from Trip stating that I had requested a cancellation.
When I contacted Trip, I was informed that there was no email or any conversation regarding a cancellation request from my side. However, the hotel refused to take responsibility and instead forced me to cancel the booking through Trip.
After 2–3 hours of insisting and refusing to leave, the hotel finally refunded me in cash, but only the exact amount I had paid. I was then forced to look for another hotel on my own.
That said, Trip was very helpful, with fast responses, and they compensated me with compensation coins for the inconvenience.
After 4 days, we were forced to return to the same hotel because we had made an advance booking through Agoda and it was non-refundable . I booked a room with two queen beds, but instead I was given a room with one queen bed, one single bed, and extra small bed. The room was extremely cramped, to the point that there was not even enough space to open our luggage. The air conditioner was not working, the room was dusty, the chair was dirty, and there was no coffee, cups, or tissue provided. so TERRIBLE..!!!
