Hotel berhampiran Trang An Departure Boat Ticket, Hoa Lu District

I found the perfect place for tranquility enjoying nature at its best. The place is surrounded by limestone and river. Our room had a view of the giant limestone cliffs on the side, at the front a natural habitat of trees with the sound of crickets and frogs. The place is surrounded by banana trees, pomelo, papaya and variety of flowers. My boyfriend used the billiards. I enjoyed my daily banana pancake, portions are generous. It was good to explore the area with complimentary push bikes. They would even provide a rain coat if it's raining. It was 15 minutes bike ride to majestic trang an river boat ride and 12 minutes to Hua Lu. The food was good. It was nice to spend a day at the hotel by the hammocks facing the river. The staff are so friendly, I feel like it was a home away from home. The food was amazing, the prices were reasonable. Thank you for the blissful memory.

Un belle hôtel familiale le personnel est au petit soin et l’endroit est magnifique. Le cuisinier fait des plat top 👌👌 très bon les plat local et les prix très raisonnable 👍 L’endroit est bien mais il y’a juste un ou deux point négatif, les chambre ne sont pas trop isoler on entend assez bien à l’extérieure et les autre bungalow. ( prenez vos bouchon d’oreille) Arriver 5h du matin il y a beaucoup de coq qui chante et il y a des Éleveurs de canard dons le coin donc pas mal de bruit en mâtiné! Sinon je recommande l’endroit piscine top ! Et les vélo gratuit assez pratique car on est tous près de beaucoup d’activité 👌👌 Je recommande l’endroit!!

Unfortunately, our two night experience here wasn't as good as we'd hoped from looking at the photos and reviews on Tripadvisor. Upon arrival, staff seemed friendly and helped us up to our room with our bags. We booked a double room which was located one floor up from the reception. There was no noise from the reception area itself but we got very little sleep due to dogs barking throughout the night (all windows were closed). The room itself was a little dated and not the cleanest of hotel rooms (though it could have been worse). There were stains on the blinds, walls, bedding and fabric chair which were a little gross. Hot water worked fine for us and the minibar was restocked with the water which we had used. Staff were friendly when we saw them, but their presence was lacking at times and the hotel seemed very quiet. We were looking forward to sitting out on the large balcony up top (from which the views were stunning) but this area seemed neglected with the bar closed and no guests using it which was sad since we were looking forward to spending evenings chatting to others and relaxing as per the photos we'd seen. We can't comment on food as we didn't eat at the restaurant, though no one seemed to eat there in the evening. We borrowed bicycles (free of charge) from the hotel which was a brilliant way of seeing some of the phenomenal local area. Overall, our experience here wasn't great but it may have been a different story if we'd booked a better room on the other side of the hotel away from the noise of the dogs!

We checked in to the Emeralda after a busy day where we drove in from Hanoi, had a great lunch in Tam Coc then hopped in boats for a tour of the caves. After that it was the Lying Dragon hike. All of which, I recommend. But we were tired by the time we arrived at the Emeralda. And it was so nice. So close to the bustle of Tam Coc, but secluded at the same time. We were greeted warmly by the staff and then driven to our rooms. First we repaired to the bar for drinks and then had a quick swim in the pool. Dinner we ate in the hotel restaurant. Very good. Breakfast the next morning was fabulous. Gracious staff. Loved this place. Even provided sandals and robes if we needed them. Would loved to have stayed longer.

Замечательный семейный уютный отель, которым владеет милая вьетнамская пара Томми и Лили. Они свободно говорят по английски, очень гостеприимны и делают все для удобства гостей. Томми предоставил нам карту с достопримечательностями, где описал, сколько по времени займет посещение каждой из них, посоветовал, где поесть и где взять байк. Завтрак можно было выбрать заранее вечером по меню из предложенного списка, завтрак был вкусный и сытный, кофе вкусный. Также у нас был отдельны запрос на трансфер в Дананг на следующий день и Томми нашел нам автобус, забронировал для нас места и даже отвез нас на автовокзал, когда автобус приехал! Просто высшая степень заботы о гостях!!!))) спасибо большое Томми и Лили за такое приятное пребывание в Ниньбинь!

I was there because my friend recommended it. She said the owner is friendly, and indeed, both the owner and her sister are super friendly. I arrived at the homestay in the afternoon, around 2 pm, and the owner and her sister were kind enough to serve me cold drinks with a cupcake. They also recommended some nice places to cycle and even rented me their bicycles for free. The next day, I wanted to go to Halong Bay but hadn't bought any packages or bus tickets yet. The owner was kind enough to recommend a nice limousine driver to take me to the port. The driver arranged for me a nice 6-hour cruise trip around Halong Bay, and even a trip back to Hanoi on the same day. When I departed in the morning, the owner packed me a package of junk food, a rice, and served me a variety of fruits for breakfast. The room is clean, the air conditioning is functioning well, and the hot water too. Everything is amazing. I would highly recommend this homestay, and I would love to come back again.

Well appointed and clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff at the ready, very easy bike ride or short taxi to attractions, and tasty variety of food. Went with our two older teenagers who really enjoyed the hotel and surroundings. Easy to rest at the beautiful pool during the heat. Very much an oasis in the Ninh Binh area, with shops and restaurants close by. Small, comfortable, safe, and accessible. You very much get what you pay for here. Would recommend for couples and families with older children.

The best part of this hotel was the location. It’s in a quieter part of Tam Coc about 10 minutes’ walk from the centre. It’s on the main road, but you are one street back and there are rice fields right behind you. Tam Coc town itself isn’t that nice. Super touristy and tacky but it’s where most the restaurants and shops are so it’s nice being in a spot where it’s accessible, but you can also escape. The hotel itself is nice but definitely 3-star. That’s not a critique as it doesn’t sell itself as higher than that, but I think some of the photos flatter it a bit. The pool area is beautiful, overlooking the rice fields. Rooms are clean and a good size but a little worn. The staff and owner are lovely. English isn’t strong even by Vietnamese standards, so needed to use the translator app a fair bit but was never a problem. They have free bicyles to rent and they are good quality. I was impressed. You can get to most of the main sites from the hotel by peddle bike if you have a basic level of fitness. Motor scooters can also be rented for cheap. A couple of small opportunities for the hotel. It took me 3 days to get hand soap in my room. I did ask and got told it’s on the wall. Only saw body wash on the wall so assumed that’s all there was but the cleaners eventually noticed and put in hand soap. Also, the fridge wasn’t working throughout the duration of my stay. Thirdly, the hotel has those bathtub showers but no curtain or screen so it’s impossible to shower without soaking the bathroom floor. Should put some in. Would be an easy fix. Overall, I would recommend the hotel. It is good value and in a great location. Thanks for having me. I definitely enjoyed my stay!
