Hotel Hobart dengan Bar

When you arrive at the Grand Chancellor you will find a tiny front drive that can fit about 4 cars, where you are supposed to be able to park, check in, and then move your car to their underground parking. However, this front drive is not monitored so when we arrived the driveway was completely full with no one there to direct us anywhere. We drove around the block to enter the underground parking and unloaded our bags which we had to carry up the stairs from the parking garage as there was no guest lift that we could easily find (good luck if you have trouble with stairs). At the bottom of the stairs there is a button that you can supposedly use to call someone to assist with your bags. We tried to use this and though we could hear the bell upstairs, it was not answered (even just to let us know that someone would come), so we gave up and carried our bags up the stairs. Upon arrival to the room, we noticed it was clearly very dated. We could see some effort had been made to update the rooms visually but the installations felt very half-****d. For instance instead of a shower curtain for the bath tub there was a half glass pane that is delightfully too short and instead bounces water off its side and onto the floor. A rainfall showerhead had also been installed but it seemed like an afterthought as it was crooked and had poor water pressure. We then tried to use the pool. Upon entry, I felt like I was taken back in time to the days of dark and damp fitness centers and unmaintained pool floors & furniture. There were no staff nearby and the entire area was a mess. Walking into the locker rooms was a shock with horrible banged up smelly lockers (many of which were open but had no key to lock it!) and awful grey blue shiny tiles that bounce the cold flickering white light around. The shared sauna between male and female locker rooms was also a joke. We left without even bothering to get changed or use the pool. We then attempted to dine at the restaurant in the hotel lobby. The host at the front asked if we had a reservation which we did not. He then looked around at the many empty tables as if he was not sure what to do and then asked us to ”wait outside” as he checked availability. We have never been asked to exit any restaurant whilst they searched for a table (even in much busier restaurants) and we were very frustrated by this request. We waited outside over 5 minutes and then decided to leave and ask the front desk staff for other local restaurant recommendations. As we were on our way out, we noticed the restaurant host was hovering nearby as if he had found us a table and was waiting for us to be done but we left without another look. Upon arriving back in our room after dinner and turning off the lights to sleep, we were graced with the hallway light streaming through the large cracks in the poorly fitted door. We had to stuff the cracks with towels, and then cover the strong blue light from the thermostat (which had no function to tur

Little bit dated. Booked through Qantas Hotels and somehow was upgraded. ( No requested room available? do not know.) Water shower deluge head is great. Plenty of towels washers etc. The body wash and shampoo bottles are squeeze to actuate, sounds simple doesn't it? Mattress very comfy. Pillow a little firm for me but I did have the choice of 5! You get a kettle and that's it. Fridge opens one way, cupboard door opens opposite way. Not user friendly. Mis mash of cups. No knife or fork. Had to book for a couple of nights the next week but was an extra 50 an night. Thought that was a bit unnecessary for a returning client booking the same room. We had two windy nights and the sliding door widows rattling was enough to keep you awake. Need to be wedged. Location to town. Excellent, walking distance.

Had a recent stay for 3 nights and found it really enjoyable. After a little confusion with parking the car due to street it is located on being a bus thoroughfare, valet parking was prompt and we found we didn't need to get car out again. Great location in the centre of town and easy walking to everything Hobart has to offer. Rooms were very clean, although a little small, bathroom was a generous size although water did flood floor when showering. Did have to order another pillow as ones in room were rock hard. Breakfast was very yummy and buffet option that was offered had more than enough to satisfy. Gym was small with just enough equipment to do a workout. The Chocolate Hour was a bit of a letdown, not what we expected, but still another point of difference. All in all, a really nice stay and we'll certainly wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Saya sangat suka hotel ini. Ia dibuka pada tahun 2020 dan mempunyai kemudahan yang sempurna. Lokasinya betul-betul di pusat bandar, Myer mall dan banyak restoran berada di tingkat bawah. Anda boleh memilih set makanan kegemaran anda untuk sarapan. Sekiranya anda memandu, anda boleh meletak kenderaan di pintu. Meja depan boleh membantu dengan tempat letak kenderaan dengan harga $ 25 / malam. Panggilan!

Perfect retreat in the heart of Hobart tranquillity by the river Derwent with majestic views of Mount Wellington. Rooms are clean and stylish 😎 service provided was exceptional would highly recommend this place to anyone

Stayed 2 nights at Ibis Styles Hobart. The hotel is strategically located in the city centre, near to Salamanca Place and the shopping streets in town. The hotel boasts a nice lap pool, a gym and some coin operated laundrette. Love the Chinese Restaurant at the lobby area, served some of the flavourful Chinese dishes cooked to perfection. The room is compact but nicely decorated. The water pressure at the shower stall certainly will give you the invigorating boost. Parking facilities are available but chargeable at AUD 23 for the overnight parking, slightly cheaper if you opt for the overflow carpark behind the hotel. Breakfast is served at the Chinese Restaurant but not a single Chinese dishes for breakfast, what an irony! In my opinion, should have at least Fried Rice or Noodles as one of the dishes since there are lots of Asians staying at this property. If they do, I will certainly give them another STAR. Generally, it is a great and comfortable stay!

Our first breakfast turned into a scene from Faulty Towers. We let the service staff know when we arrived for breakfast at 7am that we were being picked up from the hotel at 7.55 for an all day trip to Port Arthur and surrounds. We ordered our cooked breakfast with plenty of time to spare. It took so long to come to our table that in the end one of our party had to ask for a takeaway for her ordered meal and eat it on the tour bus. Also there were no extra blankets (as stated) in the blanket box and as it was cold we slept with the air conditioning on all night

This was a fabulous stay. Weather let us down a bit though not even the excellent customer service could fix that. The staff were so attentive and pleasant. The facilities were excellent for our 3 day stay with a roll away bed being provided as we needed 2 separate sleeping areas. The cooking facilities were excellent for our needs. The view was very good over the Derwent River. Shower room was excellent and the clothes washer and dryer much appreciated. The location was fabulous with all sites a walk away. Cannot recommend highly enough.

From Check In to Check Out, the experience was seamless. Fantastic accommodating staff, large, practical and comfortable room. The best bath robes of any hotel anywhere on the planet. Cannot recommend highly enough. Having stayed at many other top tier Hotels in Hobart, would not stay anywhere else when we next return. 11/10.

The room was clean and as described. The location is fantastic, walking distance to everything. It's a bit tight with the two beds, but we weren't spending tons of time in the room anyway. The twin bed was not the most comfortable but the queen was better. It can get a bit loud when the bar has music playing. They tell you this up front so it was expected. You can hear people pretty clearly if you're in the right part of the building, but they shut down promptly at closing time, around 9 or 10pm, and then it gets very quiet. The staff is friendly. Check-in and check out were very easy.
