Kapama has ALL of the pieces of a 5-star experience puzzle, but can’t seem to put them together. We checked in, gorgeous reception, amazing rooms…..NO hot water for a whole day. Our game drives were amazing, even in the rain, EXCEPT, the ponchos they provided were so beat up they weren’t waterproof!!?? Food was good, but always served with WAY more than we ordered. The food waste was stunning. Our first dining experience was fantastic with that exception, but then a family checked in and the kitchen was now Kosher and we were not allowed back in the dining room. We had meals in a different place each meal. Sounds exciting, right? Except, it ******, because the way we found out each time was we would go to the last location we dined and we would get a scowl and a “oh, no” you’re eating in such and such this time. Zero communication. Each location more disorganized than the last. To top off the dining experience, they had one little Bluetooth speaker they brought to each location that had a playlist of FOUR songs on repeat. Mind numbing and maddening. Management came to speak to us and we pointed out the music situation and she admitted she had no idea it was happening and the solution was to turn the music down. Attention to detail was the problem with everything. The manager discussed our concerns with us and only provided platitudes. I would be remiss if I did not mention how great our guide, tracker and butler were; without them we probably would have left mid stay. The management here could easily fix these issues with minimal cost(OWNERS ARD YOU READING THIS). Or they should be replaced
