Ulasan Bushbaby River Lodge

This lodge is well located near to the Kruger Park. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a good stay during our time there.

We had a wonderful stay at Bushbaby River Lodge. The service was impeccable and the rooms are so clean and beautiful. The location of the lodge is perfect, we got visited by a group of Nyalas during breakfast and they were harmless. Lucky for us, we got to see the big 4 during our afternoon game drive (we didn’t see the buffalo. Overall it was an amazing experience.

I was a little disappointed about the communication. No one notified us that there was no power the first day of our stay. Our friends that arrived before us had to text us and keep us updated, till I reached out to the lodge myself. Our friends that we shared the villa with had to drive into town to charge their mobile phones. We only arrive the day after the power to the lodge was finally restored. The lodge is beautiful but our villa could use some needed maintenance, some baseboard tiles need repair. We could not use some lamps because there were no outlets or no converter plugs for the outlets. The housekeeper said the previous guests had stolen them. I had a lamp on my nightstand that was useless since there was no outlet for it. In the 3rd bedroom was no Aircon or even a fan. At our first breakfast we received a basket with toast and the toast was covered in maggots and other bugs. Give yourself plenty of time since it takes about 30min after placing an order since there is only 1 cook. Otherwise the English breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly. It would be nice if the lodge would have blankets for guests that find the thick duvet cover too hot for sleeping. The Aircon’s in the 2 main bedrooms worked great and the WiFi was strong and very reliable. The morning we drove to Kruger Park the cook was kind enough provided us with a warm breakfast and hot coffee at 5am. We really appreciated that. The Boma is a great touch and we enjoy an amazing braii by a fire two of the nights. The groundskeeper keeps the property very clean and presentable. The private wildlife estate was a little disappointing since the only animals we saw were warthogs, nyala’s and impalas. We drove around several times, but that was all we saw. I personally would not stay or invite friends to this wildlife estate again.

We staid for three nights in the lodge. Every thing was perfect; the staff, the villa, the breakfast. The rooms were clean and had all the facilities a family needs. The staff was very friendly espacialy "Difference", he was very helpful and was always in contact and answered all the queastions we had.

Enjoyed my stay at Bushbaby Lodge. Staff was very accommodating and facilities were very neat. Environment allowed me to escape from the rush of everyday living.Bushbay Lodge would be my first choice when visiting the area. Rates are affordable

We were welcomed warmly with my husband , the place is so clean and so peaceful, good place to refresh and relax at . Everything was amazing and loved the breakfast it was so delicious . Really enjoyed

Bushbaby River Lodge gives you a stay in the bush close to nature. the facilities are great with spacious and well equipped rooms. The service is good with friendly staff being able to make you feel welcome

We were 4 couples staying here for 1 night on our way further up north for a Safari. The rims were beautiful and setting peaceful and pleasant. The breakfast was delicious. The property has a bomer area with seats and a braai pit which we decided to use for diner. The staff were extremely useful in assisting us to acquire supplies for supper and cleaning up afterwards.

A big thumbs up for bushbaby river lodge. Will go back anytime. Friendly staff, beautiful rooms and tranquil bush setting. Outdoor shower adds a nice touch and we saw plenty game driving in and out of the reserve.

everything was excellent and the stuff was friendly. i would love to go back my partner next time without the kids. i was happy with everything and their breakfast was amazing. they even provided a baby cot since we were travelling with a 3 month old baby

What a beautiful place to stay. The luxury of the rooms, bathroom and magnificent outside shower are just stunning! The quietness hurt your ears! Its so peaceful. We hired the mountain bikes (they need a bit of a service though) and was surprised to see so much animals. (The single tracks are amazing). We saw more animals on our Game Mountain Bike rides that we actually did on the main game drive across the road! From beautiful zebras, giraffe, waterbucks, Nyalas, Tortoise, Dung Beetles, monkeys, vultures. The list just goes on and on. The Moholoholo Rehab center visit is a must! We hope to visit you again one day soon! That outdoor shower..... amazing!

Stayed here for 2 nights in the Cheetah Villa and all i can say is waow, what a wonderful place in the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate. Well maintained facilities with extremely helpful staff, comfortable rooms, inviting swimming pool and wonderful breakfast. Will surely be a must when we come back to Hoedspruit.

We stayed at the Bushbaby Cheetah Lodge (vila), just after peak season. The lodge is truly deserving of its 4 star rating and 5 star service. (I would venture rating the lodge at higher than the 4 stars awarded to it, if I could). The vila was perfect. It had all the amenities that you might need, spotlessly clean, and was super comfortable. Its location is truly in the bush. It couldn't have been better! We were the only guests at the lodge while we were here. The service was super amazing, from both general staff and management. We hope to be back, and we highly recommend Bushbaby Lodge.

We had a fantastic time at the lodge. Very nice rooms. Waking up with the bush noises. After a nice breakfast off to a Safari. Chilling at the pool. Super service. Thank you to the Bushbaby Lodge crew.
