Appletree Holiday Park

After a holiday nightmare last July at Appletree Holiday Park in Lincolnshire where we found bed bugs in all 4 bedrooms in our lodge we have just got home after spending a week at the park again… This time it was as a goodwill gesture from the Parks manager Vickie.. we were offered a top lodge again with hot tub for the 4 of us- all adults!! This was absolutely free and on top of this we had 100% refund of last years cost with a meal in the restaurant and wine!! A few tiny issues but not that hard to sort - no where to hang towels, and not enough outdoor chairs to sit on..The only bed problem this time was the slats!! Not that sturdy if you are a fidgety sleeper! - slats came out!! And person was on the floor! All in all I thank them for showing us that the bed bugs problem in the 10 bed lodge last year - lodge 9.. Stay clear!! As another person reported the same problem a week later in the same lodge!!was not going to happen this year. We were given lodge 12A which is a new lodge! It was so much better.. I thank them for the generosity shown to us..

We stayed as part of a larger family group for new year in the lakeside lodge. The lodge was a pet friendly one and a little dated to what we are used too. It was a great side for us to have enjoy family time, play games, longe around etc… Grounds were spotless and we even saw deer. Downside was it was dark on a night and not many foot paths. Plenty of people walks for the dogs. Clubhouse was busy, and the staff worked hard and very welcoming.

Absolutely lovely holiday park, from the moment we arrived we were made to feel to feel welcome, the caravan was beautiful,really clean and warm ,everything you needed, lots of storage and good quality furnishings. The hot tub was great and we were really impressed that the water was checked twice a day. We went to the bar on site and had a lovely coffee and spent a relaxing time playing games and then we had the lunchtime meal deal, excellent food and drinks. The park was lovely a quiet ,just what we needed for a relaxing break, close to Boston, Lincoln and the east coast. Will definitely be back xxx

Two years after my first visit to Appletree when it had only been open a matter of weeks, it has now become my favourite holiday park. Being owned by Away Resorts, I can be confident of the quality of accommodation which has never disappointed. I did have a slight issue with the TV but a staff member came and quickly rectified it. In the past two years I have probably visited about 5 times. The park is beautifully maintained and peaceful. While I do still request accommodation away from the railway line they will always do their best to take this into consideration on allocation. I took advantage of the 'book before you leave' offer saving 15% on my November break there. When it came to selecting accommodation Tracy and Vicki were so helpful. Vicki, the park manager, took me to view the unit I could book which made the process very easy. Since my earlier visits pathways have been cut providing ample areas to walk and make the most of the countryside and spot wildlife. Just the job!

very nice holiday park very peaceful reason for 4 stars lack of street lighting light out in the lounge reported on first day there came home today and still wasnt fixed the bar was nice but quite expensive but other than that had a lovely time and staff were extremely kind

Appletree Country Park is a beautifully maintained and peaceful destination in a lovely location. The choice and standard of accommodation is high and the staff are friendly and helpful. Way cut paths across the parkland allow for good walks and the opportunity to spot wildlife. This isn't my first visit and I've already booked to return.
