My husband and I had an amazing 2 night stay at Palazzo Vitagliano for our European honeymoon! The location was perfect.. sea front facing the Amalfi port and close to the public beach, all the restaurants, shops and cathedral. We came in July which is a very busy month, but given the location we felt that we were able to avoid much of the crowds, avoided a lot of stairs and we were able to take the ferry to Positano so easily. The b&b was great! It was newly renovated, clean and had the great view of the ocean. They even had an honesty bar in the shared public space which added a nice touch to the place. The staff are friendly and our host was always quick to answer any questions we had. We loved our room and the amenities that came with it (espresso machine, fridge, bath tub) . Overall, we highly recommend this gem of a b&b!

Fforever123456Very small (6 room) hotel in very crowded Amalfi. This is on a side square (Municipio) so close to everything but not crowded. There are restaurants in the square as well as a Saturday Market and fairly constant pickup ”football” games going on there. When we closed the windows overlooking the square, though, it was quiet. The rooms are in old apartment buildings but have been heavily renovated so they are very modern. The staff were all friendly and very accommodating. We chose the Junior Suite with Balcony and had plenty of room and a great view out to the sea from our Balcony. They don't serve Breakfast but who cares. We bought some pastry at the local cafe and made coffee using the machine just outside our door and had breakfast on our balcony. The website does mention that this is upstairs but is really not descriptive enough. The two rooms (ours and the ”Partial Sea View”) were in a separate building on the third floor (i.e., what Americans would call the fourth floor). This means three flights of steep old stairs (we counted 52 in all) to get to these rooms. The hotel did have someone who carried our luggage up and down the stairs. It was well worth it for us but might be a problem for many.

PPengguna TetamuA super enjoyable stay at Casa Mao in Amalfi. This is a quaint and charming boutique hotel with arguably one of the best hotel views in Amalfi from the rooftop deck that also serves as the breakfast area: no better way to start the day! The property has been recently completely rennovated, having been in the family for generations. The owner, Giancarlo, could not have been more helpful with recommendations for beach clubs, walks, restaurants, transport and so on. He really went out of his way to ensure we had a very enjoyable stay. Yes, there are a few steps to navigate to reach the hotel but that is one of the best characteristics of the entire Amalfi coast. Plus the view and peace and quiet makes the climb worthwhile. We would be delighted to return to Casa Mao.

We just left Al Pesce D'oro Bed & Breakfast. It was our first time on the Amalfi coast and spent quite a bit of time doing our research and trying to find a cute place that offered some amenities, but that also seemed to be centrally located. I'm so glad that we found Al Pesce D'oro. We rented a car on our way out of Rome. I know, I know... why would we do that? The answer is because we're in Italy for a month - now in Tuscany. The only way to do our journey with a month's worth of luggage and experiences is to rent a car. However, on the Amalfi coast, you don't want to really be driving. It's insanity and by the way, there is no place to park your car. The Al Pesce D'oro B&B offered a private parking lot which was a tremendous stress relief. We only tried to remove our car once on our first trip to the town of Amalfi (10 minutes away) and it was nearly impossible to park. We did find an open spot but we returned to the car to find out it had been towed. The operator, Alessio, at the B&B helped us call the local tow company and get our car back. it stayed in the lot thereafter and we used the busses and sea ferry's to go back to and forth from Positano to Amalfi and into Conca Dei Marini. The bed and breakfast itself was really clean, and the staff and people were so accommodating and nice. One person, in particular, Martina, was so pleasant and so cute. She helped us navigate many things and answered whenever we needed her. We would have just loved to spend some time with just her - she was so wonderful. Our room had a private little balcony that hung over the sea. They brought breakfast to our room every morning and set it up on the balcony. They also had bus tickets at the office area of the business. The restaurant below is known for its seafood dishes. We had a few really great meals there and the staff was equally wonderful. I really can't recommend this place enough. They also own a luxury villa that is available for rent higher up the hill I believe. This family can provide any experience you are looking for and its right in between the main town of interest on the Amalfi coast.

윤윤백호좋은 호텔입니다. 위치가 구석에 있어 찾기 어려웠는데, 알고보니 중앙 광장에서 데리러 가겠다는 문자가 와있었습니다. 그럼에도 관리자는 제가 문자를 보지 못한것에 대해 서운해하지 않았고 저희를 따뜻하게 맞이했습니다. 시설도 깨끗하고, 난방 시설도 잘 작동하고, 쾌적했습니다. 다음에 아말피에 놀러오는 친구가 있다면 아마 이 숙소를 추천할것입니다. 감사합니다! - from south korea.

Camera ristrutturata a nuovo, ma piccola e caldissima. Praticamente una soffitta dove non sono certa ci sia l'abitabilità. Non ci sono scuri, ma solo tende, quindi a chi da fastidio la luce la sveglia è all'alba! Bagno nuovo, ma l'acqua calda viene a tratti e sotto la doccia hai alternanza di acqua ora calda, ora gelata. Condizionatore poco efficiente e rumoroso. Posizione rumorosa perchè la stanza è a ridosso della litoranea per Amalfi. Strepitosa la grande terrazza panoramica, ma è poco per il costo elevato (colazione e parcheggio esclusi) della camera e soprattutto per chi cerca un soggiorno confortevole.
