"【風景】春、桜開花の時期に訪問しました。旅館の標高は約1000mなので、麓から車で峠道を登っていくと、麓の葉桜、桜吹雪、中腹の満開、旅館周辺の三分咲きと、それぞれの表情の桜を楽しめました。旅館の脇には水の綺麗な川も流れており風情も良かったです。 【温泉】高アルカリ泉でお湯に浸かるとぬるぬるして気持ちが良いです。肌がツルツルになりました。浴槽も広く外には露天風呂もあります。 【お部屋】昔ながらの日本旅館のお部屋でしたが、部屋ごとにエアコンが完備されており、好みに部屋温度を設定できるのが良かったです。 【食事】夕食は囲炉裏が設置されたテーブルで、目の前でヤマメ、鶏肉、なす、じゃがいも、玉ねぎなどを炭火焼きにして焼きたてを食べられます。またキノコの陶板バター焼き、猪鍋も美味しかったです。"

"Far from train station. Difficult to get to by public transport but that is the beauty of it. We got a transfer with the hotel (additional charges). Had to get a friend to translate emails into japanese to send to the hotel. All the staff we encountered in Nov 2018 were polite and welcoming but do not speak english at all. The Google translation app is very useful to get around the language barrier. Small, quiet and beautiful place! Quite literately surrounded by mountains. "
