Place was of value of what i paid for, it is clean. But I wish got a place far from the entrance because the noise disturbed me. I checked out early. Wifi prob like half a day.

This place is really convenient in terms of location. The staff is nice and available if there’s any problem (ex locking yourself out). Overall the place is small but as you would expect from HK.

It was a bit hard to find this place as it's located inside a very old mall. Check in was easy, but I was shocked there was no front desk reception. I was greeted by a person at the door. My room did not look like the photos. My room looked like a bathroom that was converted into a sleeping space. Cleanliness wasn't that great: I found a long hair on my bath towel, some weird stains on counter surfaces, moldy grout in between tiles, and the fan/AC was dusty. Service staff was good during the day. However, I could not find a service staff at 3AM when my AC kept making a loud dripping noise for the past 4 hours, so I couldn't sleep on my last night. Pros: Great Location Helpful staff, when available Low Cost There is a communal fridge and hot water dispenser Cons: Not as clean Inside an old facility Hard to find The outside smells when you open the window, so you must rely on the AC or fan inside your room for air circulation.

It’s near chunking mansion and nearby metro of Tim sha shui

Over-rated budget hotel. The location is however very central to shopping, eating, sight-seeing, and most travellers' activities. It is not as clean as what was rated. If you are on a budget, this hotel may appeal to your liking.

The building is old, the rooms are a bit dingy but serviceable, which is to be expected with the low price. The biggest benefit is a great location right next to a central MRT line. For a solo traveler not spending much time in the room, it was perfect. The staff were very kind and helpful as well.

This hotel is located in Chung King Mansions; an infamous area in Hong Kong for crime. I have never felt so scared getting in and out of the hotel. The bottom floor arcade area you pass through to get to the hotel is filled dodgy people. Furthermore my room had black mould and smelled terrible. It was definitely cheaper than other places but I still don’t think it’s worth it.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Kowloon, Hong Kong. The location was excellent, right in the heart of Kowloon, making it easy to explore the city. While the building itself can be challenging, the hotel truly made the best of it, creating a resort-like oasis in the middle of a rough area. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, and the service was outstanding. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with anything I needed. I was pleasantly surprised by how well the hotel managed to create such a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a great stay in a central location in Kowloon.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The price is just comfortable to stay in Hong Kong. Clean, yes! But they are not cleaning our room everyday.

Legendary location, awesome crew, the location is in the Chungking mansions - the building which the cult Wong Kar-wai movie Chunging express was named after. If you want a real Hong Kong experience book your stay at this place!

I don’t understand why I booked New York Guesthouse and then it became Hollywood Guesthouse??!

Worth the price , but please try to fix the shower, its broken when i was staying there, anything else was so worth the price ,

Good location and good price

If you are looking for budget hotel and Indian food near by then places is a good option .
