Convenient location and great value for money. They also have a shared fridge and oven, which is a nice bonus. The only minor downside was that they seemed understaffed. The owner wasn't in Hong Kong at the time, so some messages were missed, and our room wasn't cleaned for several days.

Overall okay… 10mins walk to the nearest station, quiet at night, hair dryer provided etc. but we found BED BUGS right before we checked out. We were wondering why there were bug bites all over and thought they were mosquito bites but it hurt way more than usual. After texting the property about it, they said they would look into it. Not sure if they did because we checked out, and they didn’t even apologize…

I’m giving a straight 5 star rating based on what I need in a hostel – warm water for showering, soft clean sheets, aircon, and helpful staff/recs for getting around. There are hidden gems to discover in the area and staff (it’s a family-run hostel) are proactive in offering help and suggesting events. Follow their Instagram- if you’re lucky, there’ll be live music or flea markets when you are there. I normally never bother writing reviews but I really want to show my gratitude to the owners for the intentionality with which they run this place, thanks for letting me discover the real Hong Kong ☺️

Great host and amenitites to hang around the hostel. The host Patricia was really friendly and helps plan community events for those spending time at the hostel.

Honestly don’t bother staying here - it’s marketed as artsy but it falls short and is just strange, eerie and dirty. The plus is it’s quiet but the rooms are tiny and definitely not worth the money, the rooms are dirty and the common rooms are dusty and rubbish left out, it’s like being in a weird **********. The shower is hot and the location isn’t great, so I’d just spend your money elsewhere. The service is pretty rubbish the lady just shows you your bed and that’s it. I think at a time it was probably really cool staying here but I think it’s lacked attention over the years and it just is not a nice stay.

I had a pleasant, quiet, and comfortable stay for two nights. The owner was kind to let me check in early and got me acquainted with the interesting spaces within the hostel. The amenities nearby served me well - ＜10 mins walk to the nearest train station, a supermarket across the road, and some eateries. Highly recommended for solo and/or female travellers.

Easy to look for and access to a lot of famous attractions like Mong Kok and Shen Shui Po with walking distance

Excellent place. Very clean, and right next to the metro. The hostel has a super pleasant atmosphere. This is authentic Hong Kong. I recommend it!

It was a centrally located accommodation. However, they really need to pay more attention to maintenance and cleaning. The toilet simply wouldn't flush, which was a shame.

I really enjoyed my stay here it's right by Prince Edward station it's easy to find there are plenty of restaurants and a supermarket within a few minutes walking distance

Hotel with a unique vibe. Our design room is nicely decorated with Old Hong Kong related posters/photos. The room though small but bathroom is big. Very clean.

Spacious room and bathroom for Hong Kong and friendly welcoming staff with lots of local recommendations for food and things to do. Cool room design, highly recommend for a short trip.

Conveniently located and very close to Prince Edward MTR. It's clean, and I would definitely come back.
