Ulasan Kowloon Harbourfront Hotel

The staff kindly upgraded me to a sea-view room, which had a beautiful view. The living room was spacious, clean, and bright. The housekeeping staff were especially diligent, cleaning the room thoroughly every day. For just over 600 HKD in the off-season, it was a great deal, especially since it's a two-bedroom apartment with a living room, and 60 square meters is quite rare in Hong Kong. My only minor complaint is that the TV was a bit small.

Great value for money, but I'm really not used to the 3 PM check-in and 11 AM check-out times. Luckily, after negotiating with the hotel, they agreed to a 12 PM check-out, so I got a little more rest.

We chose this hotel to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and enjoy a relaxing stay with some pool time, but it was disappointing that the pool closed at 6:00 PM. During a quiet late dinner with my family around 9:30 PM, security came by because of a noise complaint, which felt unreasonable at that time. Overall, this experience was disappointing, and I would not recommend this hotel for a family stay.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! This dishonest hotel is a nightmare; I ended up in the hospital right after checking in! This is, without a doubt, the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Period. I checked into a sealed, ocean-view room where the windows couldn't open at all. The hotel clearly doesn't air out its rooms or perform regular dust mite control. Within just two days, my limbs were covered in red rashes. At the hospital, I was diagnosed with hives caused by dust mite bites, and the itching was excruciating! (See pics 1-3) By chance, I saw an internal hotel notice slipped under the door, clearly stating that a dust mite extermination was scheduled for Monday. They knew about the severe mite infestation but still hid it from guests. When I tried to communicate through the platform, the hotel's attitude was outrageously arrogant. They brazenly lied, claiming they'd never had similar issues, completely shirking all responsibility and showing no accountability or apology whatsoever! (See pic 8 for customer service response) The hotel environment is run-down and cramped. It's not a dedicated lodging building, but rather shared with local residents, making it feel chaotic and unsafe. The bathroom design is utterly impractical. You have to stand in the bathtub to shower, and the floor becomes dangerously slippery, posing a huge fall risk, especially for elderly guests. The showerhead design is ridiculous; after a shower, the entire bathroom is flooded and a complete mess. (See pic 1) The most outrageous part is that all basic necessities incur extra charges. They don't provide free toothbrushes or drinking water. Hidden fees are everywhere, and their greed is just appalling! Poor hygiene, serious hazards, terrible service, and countless hidden traps. To anyone traveling to Hong Kong, blacklist and avoid this place immediately. Don't risk your health for this!

This hotel offers surprisingly spacious rooms for Hong Kong, and the sea view outside is absolutely stunning. For Hong Kong's price level, the value for money is outstanding, making it a top choice for families visiting the city. The seaside promenade right outside the hotel is perfect for a leisurely stroll all the way to Tsim Sha Tsui's bustling heart. It's a peaceful oasis amidst the city's vibrancy. Plus, it's incredibly convenient if you're going to a concert in Hung Hom. Highly recommended!

The room was very spacious, with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 living room, and 1 kitchen. For Hong Kong, where space is at a premium, this hotel is excellent. The transportation is also convenient, being very close to Hung Hom MTR station. The night view from the hotel is beautiful and highly recommended.

The suite is huge and spacious. The facilities are well maintained. Though it’s quite far from the nearest MTR station, the hotel offers shuttle services going to/from Tsim Sha Tsui. The hotel has a very beautiful harbour view.

The room was clean and tidy, and the surrounding area was nice. It's also quite close to the Hong Kong Coliseum. We even got upgraded to a sea view room, which was a great experience. The only minor drawback was that the desk and chairs in the room were a bit old. 🤭

If you come on a weekday rather than a holiday, booking the Kowloon Harbourfront Hotel is incredibly good value for money. For around 600-700, you get a room with a total area of about 60 square meters, featuring two bedrooms and a living room. Plus, it's near the Hung Hom MTR station, and right downstairs is a beautiful waterfront promenade. I really hope the prices don't go up, I'd love to stay here often! 🤭

There was a planned power outage in our home so we decided to stay here. The suite was spacious and the view in the evening was beautiful. We had plenty of space for our family of two adults and a teenager.

1. The hotel offers a shuttle service to Tsim East, making it very convenient to get to Tsim Sha Tsui. It's also close to the Hung Hom Ferry Pier, where you can take a direct ferry to North Point Pier on Hong Kong Island. 2. The room was well-maintained with excellent views, especially the night scenery. 3. There's a restaurant in the lobby, and you can also order room service, perfect if you prefer to relax at the hotel. 4. Downstairs, there's a waterfront promenade, ideal for morning jogs, evening runs, or a leisurely stroll. 5. For this price in Hong Kong, it definitely exceeded my expectations!

Booked the 2bdr city view, very spacious for our family of 4. It came with a washing machine which was an added bonus but they don't supply laundry powder/detergent so you need to supply yourself. There's no clothes rack but washing machine has dry function. When using the swimming pool, it's not as straightforward as going to the where you see the pool as all gates are inaccessible. You need to ask for instructions for this. Basically, you need to register to go then go via the underground labyrinth of change rooms (pretty cool by the way) then head through, what I call, the water fall door! Then you are in. The breakfast included was okay, more divesity perhaps needed! We had great views of the skyline. Sometimes you see the Dukling, traditional Chinese junk boat with red sails. They offer complimentary shuttle buses too which was an added bonus:) Overall, positive experience.

Its a good stay however the 2 single beds are really hard was not able to sleep on my first night then feedback given to front desk and they added a duvet i think make it feels a bit better than the first day but was not much difference and could not use the comforter as it will affect the duvet’s position underneath the bed should be look into especially for hotel at this caliber not up to expectation All staff are cordial, buffet spread is worth of its price… The room amenities are good and the view is the best
