The location is very close to the airport. My wife and I stayed here to catch our flight after coming back from Lantau Island. Hmm... there's a large shopping mall and a subway station right downstairs, which is quite convenient. However, the hotel service was pretty mediocre. I don't know why, but the staff at check-in were quite unfriendly. We only stayed one night, so I can't really comment on the hotel facilities, but the room itself was quite old.

The room was much larger than expected, and the bathroom was also spacious. The only drawback was the limited power outlets. One of the twin beds had outlets at both the head and foot, but the other bed had none. The hotel's location right next to Citygate Outlets is super convenient for visiting Disneyland and also handy for getting to Central. The subway is right downstairs from the mall.

This hotel boasts an excellent location. It's just one stop from Disneyland, and a direct 7-stop MTR ride on the Tung Chung Line gets you to Central. It's also convenient for hiking to Siu Sai Wan and Tai Long Wan – just transfer to bus 788 after reaching Hong Kong Station on the Tung Chung Line. Being located within the Citygate Outlets mall, shopping and dining couldn't be easier. Citygate Outlets itself is well worth exploring; the basement supermarket offers a great selection of international goods, and there are two fantastic Japanese restaurants on the lower level. The roasted chicken at the 7th-floor food court is delicious, and the Man Wah Restaurant in the residential area opposite Fu Tung Plaza offers great food at a good price – our group of four only spent 200 HKD. The mall also has significant discounts, often stacked, making for great deals.

The room was great, clean and tidy, and the service was very attentive. It's right next to Citygate Outlets, which was super convenient. My son and I had a lovely holiday there.

Stayed at Novotel Citygate and wanted to share a helpful tip about transportation. The hotel actually provides a free shuttle bus service from the airport, which is very convenient. You can simply ask for details at the airport information counter. Unfortunately, I didn’t know about this in advance, so I ended up taking a bus to Tung Chung Station instead. I wouldn’t recommend this option if you’re traveling with luggage. Even though the bus has a designated space for bags, it was very crowded and quite difficult to manage multiple suitcases. Overall, the hotel stay was good, but definitely take advantage of the free shuttle—it will make your arrival much smoother!

The staff were really nice! It's right inside a mall, next to the Ngong Ping 360 cable car 🚡 and the MTR station. You can genuinely spend two full days exploring from here, and the MTR goes straight to Disneyland. Especially the auntie on the 18th floor – she got us a bed rail, and my child loved it, kept looking for her!

The open-concept bathroom design is stylish and comes with a bathtub, perfect for a relaxing soak, and the toiletries provided are complete and high-quality. The room is fully equipped with amenities like air conditioning and a TV, all working smoothly, and the free WiFi is stable and fast. The hygiene is impeccable with no missed spots, and the soundproofing is excellent. The service is warm and efficient. Its proximity to Citygate Outlets makes transportation convenient, and shopping is incredibly hassle-free. Definitely worth repeat stays!

This is a great hotel, very close to both the airport and Disneyland. It's located inside Citygate Outlets; you can find the hotel lobby by taking the escalator opposite Ralph Lauren. The service was excellent, and adding an extra bed was very affordable.

The hygiene was quite poor. The electric kettle was incredibly dirty; the picture shows the grime inside, which was disgusting. The room was small, and so was the bed. The location is excellent, though. You can get there directly from the subway station through the mall. Take Exit C, go up to the 2nd floor, walk to a Western-style coffee shop, and then take the stairs down, and you're there.

It's a nice stay, free shelter bus to and from airport, full room amenities with nice views. And there is a park nearby for morning walks.

It's incredibly convenient for connecting to other parts of Hong Kong (like Hong Kong Disneyland, Ngong Ping 360 cable car, or Hong Kong Airport). You can access the hotel lobby by taking the escalator down from the second floor of Citygate, opposite Ralph Lauren – the directions are very clear. From the first floor of Citygate, opposite Starbucks, you can catch the Eternal East Bus to Shenzhen Bay Port. Citygate itself is also a great place to shop, with a supermarket and many brand outlet stores. Facilities: The room size is on the smaller side, and the overall facilities are a bit dated. Both the mattress and pillows are quite soft. The shower and toilet are separate, and the water pressure and temperature of the shower are good. The shower gel and shampoo have a pleasant scent. The air conditioning works very well. The room provides disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, and slippers, but the slippers are as thin as paper – even worse than those in budget hotels. The soundproofing in the room is quite good; I didn't experience any noise during my one-night stay. Service: I didn't book breakfast, so I can't comment on that, but there are many restaurants in the mall, and we opted for McDonald's. The room provides three 330ml bottles of mineral water. You don't need a room card to use the elevator, which I found a bit odd. Both check-in and check-out were very efficient. When I returned to pick up my luggage after shopping, the service staff saw I had many items and proactively offered me a paper bag for them. Overall, it's a good choice for those needing to transit for a night, whether for Hong Kong Disneyland or Hong Kong Airport. This time, I booked it for 827 RMB without breakfast, and it came with two days of mobile data, so I still felt it offered pretty good value for money.
