Hotel di Pendalaman Selatan, Hong Kong

Our hotel stay at the Arca was quite satisfactory. The room was quite big and there were three comfortable beds. The toilet is also very spacious and large, and allows for two shower rooms inside. The design of the room was quite smart, all in all. The location was okay, easily visible from the nearest station. The service was also very good, they even offered us a complimentary cake for my wife’s birthday as well as three complimentary drinks as an apology for the slightly delayed check-in. All in all, great hotel!

Terdapat dua hotel taman laut, Saya pernah menginap di taman air sebelum ini, dan kali ini saya tinggal di bilik lain. #Hong Kong Ocean Park Marriott Hotel ialah hotel lima bintang. Berhampiran dengan Stesen MTR Wong Chuk Hang dan Ocean Park Hong Kong. Lokasinya sangat selesa. Tempah ”Bilik Deluxe King” (HKD 3960) Ia adalah pakej hotel, termasuk makan malam bufet & Sarapan pagi dan dua tiket masuk ke Ocean Park Hong Kong. Dan pada asalnya saya menempah bilik dengan pemandangan gunung. Kerana saya mendaftar masuk pada hari lahir saya, saya dinaik taraf kepada pemandangan lagun. Coklat hari jadi juga diberi🍫 Jika seseorang mempunyai hari lahir pada hari daftar masuk, sila buat nota semasa membuat tempahan. Dari segi kemudahan hotel, kolam renang dibuka. Walau bagaimanapun, saya merasakan terdapat ramai kanak-kanak jadi saya tidak pergi berenang. Sebaliknya, saya pergi ke bilik kecergasan 24 jam, yang tidak sesak pada waktu malam. Dari segi keselesaan, Hong Kong Ocean Park Marriott Hotel dan Hong Kong Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel adalah lebih kurang sama. Tetapi apabila bercakap mengenai pemandangan bilik, sudah tentu hotel terakhir ini lebih menarik.

The hotel’s location is generally acceptable; however, the closure of the road connecting the hotel to Ocean Park forces guests to take detours, which is inconvenient and time-consuming. Despite the cleanliness of the room, a stunning sea view, and the courtesy of some (though not all) staff members, these positives cannot offset several critical shortcomings. First, the hotel failed to honor the request made during booking to allocate a room away from the elevator. Instead, the room was located near the elevator, resulting in elevated noise levels. Each time neighboring guests closed their doors, the sound resembled thunder, disrupting sleep even for those not sensitive to noise. This issue was compounded by thin walls, which provided virtually no soundproofing, and an interconnecting door to the adjacent room, further amplifying disturbances. Second, the air conditioner functioned exclusively in cooling mode. Despite setting the temperature to 35°C and requesting assistance, the staff failed to resolve the issue, as the heating mode had been deactivated in the unit itself. While this is typically an easily addressed problem in other hotels, here it led to prolonged discomfort from cold temperatures. Even after hours of operation, the room’s temperature did not exceed 20°C, with a slight improvement to 23°C only due to favorable outdoor weather. Third, staff ignored the “Do Not Disturb” sign, repeatedly calling the room and interrupting our stay. This behavior is inconsistent with professional service standards. Finally, service in the lobby’s restaurants and cafes was inadequate. I waited by the pastry display for an extended period while an idle staff member nearby chose to ignore us entirely, failing to offer assistance. Considering these issues, the hotel fails to justify its cost, particularly given the availability of better and more affordable alternatives.

The room has a wide amount of space and is furnished with modern furniture. The staff at the front desk are both handsome and welcoming, and it's easy to get here from The Central after finished visiting the Marine Museum.

Room quite clean but small but what do you expect at such attractive and affordabe price, everyday I received fresh towels. The mattress is quite comfortable and clean. There is a pantry on each floor with cooking hood and hob, fridge, chopping board, knives, pots and pans... etc. Quite ideal for family traveller's. There is a laundry area at LG, cost very reasonable for washing and drying. A small gym and yoga room at LG also.

Location is a bit far but the room is spacious with lots of room. The room is spotless and the service is great.

Nice hotel, good breakfast. However if you are not heading to cyberport then the location may be out of the way. Shuttle to Hong Kong station available.

這個酒店就在黃竹坑地鐵站出來後走人行天橋就可以直達，非常方便，二樓就是酒店大堂，下一站就是海洋公園站，對於第二日安排海洋公園的家庭來説十分友好。 酒店設施齊全，環境非常乾淨舒適，非常新，對於香港來講，面積算大啦，我覺得挺好的！ 服務十分周到，態度非常好👍 在大堂另外一邊還有簡單的全餐餐廳哈 下次還會選擇這邊，值得～

Everything was good. Room was cozy but clean and got everything you need. Alexa and Netflix added points on top. Would be perfect if slippers were offered but it really isn’t that big of an issue. Love the area very convenient for solo travellers as there’s a mall nearby you can basically get anything you need (and don’t necessarily need loll). Just two stops away from admiralty which makes it even easier to get around.

The service was great and the location was amazing to explore South Hong Kong Island. Nonetheless, for a couple it is too tight as a room to even more two at the same time through the corridors. Therefore, this place is more recommended for solo travellers as the bed will be more comfortable (also the couples' bed is only two single beds put together, therefore do not buy into this ”trick). The AC did not allow regulation, however if you like freezing cold (when on) or room temperature (when off) be my guest. 500 deposit required at the entrance for any extent of stay at the residence. Despite the small setbacks in the bed, size and AC, the location is great, around great local food spots with emphasis on fish and other seafood, as well as markets (1F hidden gems), boat trips to Aberdeen, almost a part of the MTR building itself and allowed to leave luggage at the entrance even after check-out (until 18:00) for walking around hassle-free. Would not return overall in conclusion.
