Hotel di Sai Wan and Sheung Wan, Hong Kong

Traveling with my mother, when I showed the front desk my 20+ check-ins at this hotel through Ctrip, they kindly upgraded us to a two-bed suite for free (Ctrip only showed king-bed suites). The layout was thoughtful, sophisticated, comfortable, and very spacious; my old mother was absolutely thrilled! You could even see a sea view once you pulled back the curtains. The restaurant floor also had self-service laundry and lounge sofas. Highly recommend to parents whose children are studying at the University of Hong Kong!

We had a very nice stay at the C+M Hotel service apartment . the staffs are extremely nice and always here when you need !! plus the location of the hotel is easy walking distance to many place .

First of all, the location is very good, very close to Exit A1 of Sai Ying Pun MTR Station, and Winstons Coffee is next to the MTR station. The room is slightly small but very clean and comfortable, with a very delicate design and plenty of storage space. I live on the 26th floor and the view outside the window is very nice. There is a kettle, Dyson hair dryer, Bose small speaker, refrigerator, toiletries, slippers, etc. in the room. The gym, kitchen, and office area facilities are also relatively complete. The three front desk staff I met during my three-day stay were very polite, warm and friendly, and it is more suitable for single travel. (Note that you cannot check in in advance or store your luggage)

These are serviced apartments - I had the one bedroom executive and it was really great: separate lounge, kitchenette with coffee machine, fridge and microwave. Really comfy bed and great en suite. I've market down on facilities because of the serviced apartment nature: there's no bar/restaurant, though plenty in the very near vicinity. There's no pool (in case you see that one photo on trip advisor!).

It should be a student apartment. I am a girl who came out to play by myself. It is very safe to live here. There is only one door downstairs for entry and exit. There is always someone at the front desk at the door, and you need to swipe your card to enter and exit. There are public washing machines and restaurants, but the washing machines can only be used with Octopus. There is also a public water dispenser with hot water on the floor. The room is very clean! It is really good, small and safe! The subway is also very convenient. It takes only two minutes to walk to the subway station of Sai Ying Camp. The security uncle downstairs is very good! Very nice, I will stay here again next time I come to Hong Kong! And you can see the sea from the high floors!

Facilities: Meets basic needs. Cleanliness: Tidy and clean. Environment: Seaview room, but there's a building directly in front, so the view is only decent if you look at it from an angle. The window cannot be opened. Surroundings: There are supermarkets and tea restaurants nearby on the ground floor. There's also a 'Ding Ding' tram stop close by. Buses to the train station are also available, though it requires a bit of a walk.

Overall, this hotel is a great fit for budget-conscious travelers who prioritize convenient transportation and plan to spend most of their time out exploring. If you're looking for a high-quality accommodation experience, a very comfortable resting environment, or are traveling with family, you might want to consider other options. The room wasn't very spacious. The bed was just okay, piled up high which made it uncomfortable to sleep on; it pales in comparison to chain hotels on the mainland. Breakfast was barely acceptable, just some toast and milk. The most annoying thing was the power outlets; I forgot my adapter. Luckily, there was one Type A slow charger in the room, which was just about enough for a one-night stay. And then there was something that completely blew my mind: for self-service laundry, you have to buy separate washing and drying tickets at the front desk, each costing 25 yuan, so 50 yuan in total for one wash and one dry. Considering my own clothes aren't even worth 50 yuan, I resisted the urge to do laundry 😏. Overall, for a prime location in Hong Kong's Sheung Wan old town, where every inch is precious, 500+ yuan is pretty good value for money, in my opinion. However, if the price doubles on holidays, it's not really worth it. Also, right downstairs from the hotel is a wet market, and on the third floor of the market, there are Hong Kong-style restaurants straight out of old Hong Kong movies – lots of delicious food. Plus, it's very close to the Sheung Wan Macau Ferry Terminal, so you can take a boat to Macau in just an hour. The MTR station is also very nearby, so the location is excellent!

It was my fifth time at the 181. I arrived a bit earlier than expected, and I really appreciated that the hotel recognized me and allowed me to check in early since the room was ready. It’s always a nice gesture that makes a big difference after traveling. The concierge at the entrance was welcoming and helpful, and the gentleman at reception who checked me in was friendly and efficient, a smooth and pleasant process overall. The location is convenient, with easy access to public transportation, and the room was clean with a nice view. The bed was very comfortable, and I enjoyed the shower as well, all the essentials were spot on. One small thing. I was charged 5 HKD in cash for a shaving kit, which I had to pay directly at the door. While I understand the sustainability efforts, I believe such basic amenities should be included for convenience and overall experience, not because of the small cost. And if it is charged, the quality of the kit could be improved. Everything else was great. Just my personal feedback, but overall, a very good stay.

Located at Sheung Wan where MTR station, tram and ferry pier are in 5-15mins walking distance. The room is a bit tiny for 2 persons but given it is HK, I will say not the worst. The breakfast serviced in the way of room service is a plus for ppl who wanna stay a bit longer on the bed. The food is ok. The male staff who seems supervisor/manager in the reception is polite and friendly.
