Had a three night stay here. Great staff, very good facilities (pool, jacuzzi and sauna but book your slots in busy periods), superb restaurant and a quiet location in the Peak district. Located a mile from Hope up a narrow (ish) track, it is worth the journey. Lots of things to do if you want to get out and about. You can walk from the hotel and get up to Losehill and beyond to Mam tor or just down to the village and river. Very pleasant room (12) with all the amenities you need. Staff very friendly and helpful (many thanks to the night porter for the tea) and the food, both at breakfast and dinner is first class. Very enjoyable stay

We booked one night to celebrate our Sliver Wedding Anniversary. Though I have visited Losehill House a number of times before for a spa day and lunch, this was the first time for my husband. The location and setting do not disappoint and whilst we live relatively local in Sheffield, you do feel you are far away. We hired a deluxe king size room which was spacious and the quality of the furnishing and décor were excellent. The inclusion of a sofa was welcomed, as well as the roll top bath and separate large shower. The stay included the use of the spa facility for an hour, which was a relaxing start to our stay. One of the highlights of any visit is the quality of the food. Both the evening and breakfast menu provided ample choices for all tastes and more importantly did not overwhelm you. The Orangery was a glorious setting in which to eat and the views breath taking . The other highlight are the staff, who were always very helpful and professional. Overall if you want a luxury break in a luxury hotel than Losehill House is worth the visit.

We visited here after my daughter’s wedding as a slow down and relax time. It certainly worked. As always the hotel staff were wonderful , nothing is too much trouble ,the food second to none. The surrounding area is superb for walking and to be able to then use the pool and hot tub certainly ease the aching legs. Can’t wait to visit again

Lovely location awful nights sleep too hot n no fan or air con. Room is lovely but expensive for 1 nights stay and small portion for breakfast

Lovely hotel in a quiet rural setting, ideal location to explore the Peak District. Great room with countryside views. Superb food. Very friendly welcoming staff. Spa/pool small but perfectly adequate. Would have liked a teapot not just a mug to make my tea in. Pillows rather firm for us bed very comfortable. Would definitely recommend and would definitely go back. Thanks to all the staff for a wonderful stay.

Fabulous wedding venue. Staff very attentive, hard working and efficient. Made the weekend for all of the wedding guests and the couple. Location and food go hand in hand.
