Hotel berhampiran Stichting Oorlog in de Peel, Horst Aan De Maas

Kakitangan sangat menyenangkan dan sarapan pagi memuaskan, tetapi malangnya bufet ditutup. (Terpaksa memilih apa yang anda mahu sehari sebelumnya...) Ruang yang sesuai untuk harganya mungkin agak terlalu kecil. Sebaliknya, terdapat banyak bunyi di belakang dinding dan siling, yang mungkin disebabkan oleh penebat yang lemah. Bilik mandi sangat baik dan tekanan air adalah baik.

We rente there the two of us on 12 Feb 2023. We had made reservation in advance and we were welcomed most friendly. We were handed out the key to the and told the room is at the first floor. We went to the room and discovered that this was a very basic room. We looked for the restaurant and discovered that this was not to our linking, so we had dinner ”down town”. During night and early morning we were woken up by delivery trucks and the nearby motor way. The next morning we had breakfast in the hotel. There were scrambled eggs but not the way we used to eat there, it was a solid mass of omelet. There were some canned fruits, bread and butter and coffee from teh machine. Though what to expect in Deurne.

I stayed 2 nights with friends in this great hotel and we loved it; we will go back for sure; If I have to critic sth, then it is the fact that it took too long to be served for breakfast & in the bar when food/drinks were ordered-we had to remind the waiters several times.

We werden zeer hartelijk ontvangen. Parkeerplaats voor de deur. Mooie grote hotelkamer met prachtige badkamer en heerlijk zitje. Goede bedden. Receptie bevindt zich op 100 meter van het hotel van de hotelkamers. Daar is ook 's ochtends het ontbijt. Het ontbijt was zeer goed. Prima Wifi en heel stil. Op 200 meter lopen bevindt zich het standje aan de Maasplassen en daar heeft het hotel ook een eigen beachclub. Hotel ligt op prachtige locatie. Vanuit hotel zijn de plassen overigens niet te zien. Hotel is beslist een enorme aanrader. Wij hebben er in ieder geval een heerlijk verblijf gehad, Minpunten: We waren er op een snikhete dag en de kamers waren wel heel warm. Geen airco. Het was veel te warm om buiten te zitten (geen schaduw). Parkeerplaats was vol toen wij aankwamen, niet met hotelgasten maar met strandgangers.

Kerst familiebuffet gehad vanmiddag/vanavond in hotel Asteria. Beetje bloedeloos, geen kerstsfeer/gevoel. Grote zalen, weinig sfeer, bediening matig, eten net voldoende van kwaliteit. Beetje massa=kassa indruk. Kunnen ze beter volgens mij. Kerstmuziekje, personeel gekleed op kerstdiner, meer persoonlijkheid ipv massa, kaarsjes op tafel, mooie servetten, mooier de tafel dekken. Per tafel naar het buffet of zaaltje. Goed bestek en couverts bij buffet om op te scheppen of nog beter personeel dat opschept. Vlees was overgaar en droog. Nu mierenhoop-effect. Weinig fantasie. Beetje gemiste kans. Prijs-kwaliteitverhouding niet op orde vandaag. 50 euro per persoon voor 2 uur exclusief consumpties.

A group of six of us stayed at the Maashof hotel on what was the last night of a 10 day motorcycle tour and it was also my birthday. I had carefully chosen the hotel in the hope that we would have a lovely stay and dinner in a beautiful lakeside location. Unfortunately there were several issues which cast a significant shadow over my birthday celebrations and ruined our stay. The problems started when checking in when they overcharged two of my friends and they would have overcharged another friend and myself, had I not noticed and intervened. I had booked four single occupancy rooms and one double occupancy room and there was an administrative issue between *********** and the hotel which caused confusion over how many guests were staying in each room, despite the hotel having the names of the six guests against each booked room. All of us were asked when checking in how many guests were staying in each room, but despite this two friends were charged the double occupancy room rate and one friend was charged for two half board dinners despite them all being in rooms on their own. In addition, they also attempted to overcharge us for the half board option despite me accepting a special offer online which had been emailed to me prior to arrival. We then had a further major issue. Three of the rooms were directly underneath the kitchen and hotel entrance and were extremely noisy until very late in the evening and again the next morning starting around 5.30am which meant several of us had a very disturbed night. Two of my friends complained at the time and agreed with the duty manager that they would have the full cost of their room refunded, as he was unable to offer them an alternative room. He advised them that if we had wanted better, quieter rooms we should have booked directly with the hotel rather than through *********** and he told my friend to email the Reservations Manager regarding the refund. The hotel management have admitted that the rooms we stayed in are very noisy, but there was no mention of this when we booked and they still charged the full room rate. On our return to the UK, I emailed the Reservations Manager and following many exchanges she offered a 25% refund for the three rooms most affected by the noise, despite the duty manager’s earlier promise of a full refund. Personally I thought this paltry offer did not provide sufficient remuneration for the problems we encountered but I felt I had no choice but to accept. I subsequently provided my bank details in an email but the refund was not forthcoming. I chased regularly by email as to why the refund was taking so long only to be told cross-border, cross-currency bank transfers take a long time and ”it will arrive within a few days” and then “as soon as possible”. Despite these repeated assurances it took 3 weeks for me to receive the refund and only then after several more emails including to the hotel General Manager who at one point decided to attack my pe

This hotel is amazing for young kids who like sports!!! Parents don’t go here for a relaxing weekend. The dinner wasn’t good but breakfast was great. Our kids cried when we left. Lovely surroundings with lots to do. Swimming pool and indoor play area were a huge hit too.

Bei unserem ersten Besuch nach ein paar Jahren fanden wir das Hotel und unser Zimmer (301, sehr ruhig gelegen) genau so schön und gepflegt vor, wie wir es in Erinnerung hatten. Das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war ok. Schade, dass es in einem Land wie den Niederlanden nur zwei langweilige und relativ geschmacklose Sorten Käse gab. Unser Hund durfte mit zum Frühstück. Das war uns sehr wichtig, denn er ist noch jung. Alles in allem ein schöner Aufenthalt in einem empfehlenswerten Haus.
