Ggabi lOh my goodness - this place is like mum's cuddle. We rang a ton of places hoping one would take dogs and this place not only say they would, they went above and beyond. We arrived soaking wet after a big hike in a storm and they tuned into our needs straight away. They gave us some old towels for the dogs, help getting our stuff dry, a warm welcome ... nothing was too much effort. Kindness costs nothing and means everything. The room was such good value. Basic, comfortable, clean, and perfect for what we needed which was a place to dry off, have a hot shower, a good sleep and a feed nearby. It isn't the Hilton, but you're not paying for that. Yet in terms of service, I'd rate it 5*.

PPengguna TetamuEen prachtig oud gebouw. Bijzonder interieur met heel veel leuke zitjes, gangetjes, goed ingerichte gemeenschappelijke keuken, een game room, een spa en een was-en droogmachine. Zeer sfeervol. De kamer die wij hadden (36) had een eigen keuken en badkamer, een prima bed en een prachtig uitzicht. Wij zouden er zeker terugkomen.

Havannah was clean, quiet, very warm and just what we needed. This place would have scored a 5 if the owner was interested in improving some things. Like a previous reviewer, I too got the impression that the owner was scimping on things. The toilet paper and tissues were cheap and scratchy. The toilet paper holder was loose. The shower head was set a one setting and so it was hard if you didn't want to get your hair wet. The kitchen area was reasonably clean. However, the splashback had not been recently cleaned. Also, there was only 1 container for the microwave and only 2 bowls and 2 plates in the crockery draw.

PPengguna TetamuIan and Youko have been so lovely. This dedicated team works so hard to ensure your stay is pleasant. It's affordable and it resonates with what you would expect from the Best Western brand. Firstly, the rooms are so clean. Ian and Youko put in so much effort on their own backs to make sure the rooms are to spec. Secondly, my colleague and I were welcomed by Ian and we felt like we weren't just another guest in the books. This can be so lost in a lot of hotels/Inns/Motels etc. Lastly, Ian and Youko will help with whatever you need where they can and considering how hard they work, I have to appreciate that effort. I highly recommend this property.
