I came to São Paulo for a wedding of a friend. Some of my friend wanted to join me to my room to get prepared together, the hotel forced me to pay 130reals per guest.. that’s insane never saw that before.. the pool is bad, cold and always in a shadow, no towel services and no one to serve us a drink or food there, bit lame.. breakfast is not that great. Zero effort on sustainability or green initiatives.

It’s my second time to stay here: comfort, clean, great location, and safe. I had quality comfort of sleep. Restaurant and bar are 5 stars. Although
the gym is small and has limited equipment, the pool and sauna are great. I will look no further other than L’Hotel Portobay when I’m in Sao Paulo.

I have been going to São Paulo for years and I once I stayed at the Renaissance, I don't stay anywhere else when I am there. Since my first stay there, my experience has been nothing but perfect. Let me start with the location. The hotel is in the best part of the city. Very close to Paulista avenue and the great things that the Jardins have to offer. Can walk everywhere. Oscar Freire shopping street is a few blocks away. The rooms are spacious and clean. The lobby is big and connected to a really nice the hotel bar. They have a pool and a spa and a really big gym with the latest equipments. But the best asset of the hotel is its stuff. The nicest and most friendly of any hotel I ever stayed. Let me start with the Executive lounge guys. Mariana, Paulo and Vinicius at the lounge desk were very helpful and had the best tips. Luciana and the other staff at the lounge are the best. I have know them for years and it is always a pleasure to see them when I stay there. And the breakfast at the lounge with the view of the skyline of São Paulo is priceless. This time, I had a smooth check in with Gabriel. Very friendly and professional guy. Also I would like to mention Carter from the front desk. He made our stay extra nice this time. It was always a pleasure to stop by the front desk and have a chat with him. This is definitely the best hotel in town in my opinion.

O hotel maravilhoso, porém importante a recepção estar mais atenta.
Pois eu só fiz o check-in 15h40 porque me levantei e disse esqueceram do meu check-in, tenho compromisso.
Mas é uma forma de treinar a equipe, pois pode ter ocorrido algo que eu não sei.

I stayed at Tivoli on a business trip. It’s a great location near a park and museum. The rooms are kept clean and are very spacious. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet every day and a dinner at the restaurant. The gym has more than the basics. The service was very helpful. Credit to Jamilly and many other staff for making it a great experience.

Estamos muito insatisfeitos com o que aconteceu...no momento do check-in foi informado que o jantar do dia dos namorados havia mudado e que SÓ PODERIA JANTAR NOS RESTAURANTES QUEM COMPRASSE O PACOTE DO JANTAR (R$ 3.500).
Não só nós ficamos decepcionados como vários casais.
Isso foi TOTALMENTE discriminatório na verdade....podíamos processar eles alegando esse motivo.
Os casais foram todos obrigados (inclusive nós) a jantarmos dentro do quarto...foi super chato e constrangedor.
Isso é totalmente fora do código do consumidor. Sermos obrigados a comprar um jantar nesse valor ou não pode comer dentro do restaurante. UM ABSURDO.

Good things: - great location just 3 minutes from Av Paulista - big and comfortable bedrooms - very helpful and kind reception staff Bad things: - it’s an old hotel with many issues - bedroom entry cards get deactivated all the time. You get frequently locked out and you need to go to reception and activate your door card every time you move from the room - there’s a collection of different pillows on the bed. Some old and stained with yellow sweat stains - disgusting (see pictures). Some flat and worn out. Some ok. - air conditioning in the bedroom hardly works. It’s set up non stop on 17 degrees and the room is still very warm - there are only 2 elevators and they are very slow. They are card activated but cards sometimes work and sometimes don’t work. It’s very frustrating - air conditioning in lobby restaurant area doesn’t work. It’s very hot and uncomfortable - bedroom TV has very bad reception and includes mostly news and Brazilian channels. Just super boring.

Excelente. Atendimento cordial. Quarto amplo, cama absolutamente confortável, ducha boa mas precisa de regulagem (fácil de resolver), banheiro também amplo e com amenidades. O restaurante anexo é incrível, comida libanesa maravilhosa e o café da manhã delicioso (empadinhas e tortinha de limão e morango no café da manhã me fazem muito feliz! rs.). Localização excelente, poucos passos da Paulista e metrô Brigadeiro. Bom custo benefício.

CChristopherA nice and well-appointed hotel with very friendly and helpful service, comfortable rooms, and a quite good breakfast. The spa was nice and offered a solid massage at a reasonable price. The location is better for business than the more trendy eating and shopping areas but there are still a good range of restaurants nearby. The former Four Seasons, the design shares an aesthetic with what was the Four Seasons Shanghai Pudong. I would happily stay again.

Minha estadia no hotel foi boa e bem proveitosa! Dentre os pontos positivos estão: - Colaboradores educados. - Atendimento ágil. - Limpeza - Quarto aconchegante - Localização (centro de SP) Pontos que vejo que podem ser melhores. - Café da manhã (destaco aqui que o café foi bom, mas com poucas opções) - Valor considerando a estadia e café da manhã. - Wi-fi Obs. - Sobre a localização, em frente há uma praça com muitos moradores de rua mas nenhum deles mexeu ou incomodou e devido a isto diria que até me senti seguro mesmo andando a noite no bairro. - Sobre o café como citei anteriormente as opções foram bem limitadas, já fiquei lugares com valor semelhantes que proporcionou uma experiência melhor no café. - Wi-fi não funcionou. Ainda assim, recomendo o América do Sul.

PPengguna TetamuMon hôtel dé préférence à Sao Paulo, emplacement parfait, ambiance cosy chic et chambres spacieuses. Le petit déjeuner est top et le personnel accueillant. Pour les personnes qui sont très sensibles au bruit (ce qui n’est pas mon cas) la chambre 708 et donc toutes celles en 8 ne sont pas idéales parce qu il y a une aération géante au pied de l’immeuble et elle fait pas mal de bruit nuit et jour et l’isolation des fenêtres n’est pas parfaite. Des autres chambres le problème ne se produit pas du tout.
Troisième fois en tous cas que je vais à l’hotel et je suis très content, je n’envisage pas d’aller ailleurs à Sao Paulo.

BBettinaCommunication was professional and polite but they were unwillingly to offer a refund or move the dates to a later time as I caught Covid. I get it’s my fault as the cancellation had just past but the slightest flexibility would have been nice and I informed them prior to check in date.

PPengguna TetamuThere are many good restaurants just out outside the hotel main entrance. Walkable to downtown. Safe drop off and pick up by car. Rooms are quite dated. Safe inside room not working. Staff are friendly and willing to help even though they don’t speak English.

I paid to stay her for 3 nights but left after the first night. Sure, it probably ticks the boxes to be qualified as a 4-star hotel but this is honestly worse than any 2-star hotel. First, the staff don’t speak a single word of English. Probably not so much of an issue if you’re a local. Second, the furnishings in the room are what you would expect to find in a housing project. It felt very poor and dated. Third, the cleanliness. The curtains have coffee coloured stains and do not close properly. Surfaces were dusty. Fourth, if you’re a tourist, this is the worst part of town. It was unsafe. I did a private one-on-one tour of the city and the tour guide has never had a client from this particular hotel. He even suggested I move out. Fifth, there was nothing much to see around. No one around the area makes coffee to go. The kitchen staff and reception were friendly and just about the only saving grace for this hotel.

It's ok. The 4 stars are fading somewhat in the night sky, but hey - who knows what the criteria are? It's one of those hotels (and I've stayed in many) where your experience depends on the person in reception when you arrive. Unfortunately I got the wrong guy, but after that it get better. It's comfy enough, but it needs a re-furbish in the bathrooms - the shower was dying and the bath tub itself had no plug (so you couldn't use it). Air Con was noisy, but they always are. The breakfast was decent, although I can't see the point of having bread and no toaster. 4 stars? They could just buy a crappy toaster from down the road for 10 bucks. Easy. As they say, it's all in the details. The restaurant is pretty good though, and the area around the hotel is scruffy but friendly enough. The gym is tiny and ill-equipped - don't even contemplate it. I think the sauna works but you don't need a sauna. The running machine dates from the Victoria period I think. The splash pool is fine, up in the gods. So it's ok....and I wasn't paying, but the insistence of the guy on the desk that I had to pay up front (I was jet-lagged) and his refusal to accept my credit card as surety until the company paid the next day, was absurd. I was staying for 5 nights. Did he think I was going to do a runner? And so the websites that supply the hotel should inform the reservation process that you have to pay up front. Apart from that I quite enjoyed it in the end. But it needs a brush-up. And the two lady receptionists were great and really helpful. Don't let me give you the wrong impression.

PPengguna TetamuJá havia ficado neste hotel 1 vez antes com minha família, e por isso acabei voltando. Chegamos no último sábado por volta das 22:40h e encontramos o estacionamento com o portão fechado. Estávamos eu, minha esposa e nossos 2 filhos pequenos, o menor ainda na cadeirinha dormindo e a maior já do lado de fora do carro conosco, enquanto tiravamos nossas bagagens. Tudo isso deve ter durado no máximo 5 minutos. Eis que do nada fomos surpreendidos por 2 homens de moto, um deles apontando o revólver para nós, anunciando o assalto. Roubaram meu celular e 2 anéis da minha esposa. A perda material não foi nada, o problema é que minha filha de 5 anos assistiu a essa cena de terror! Após os assaltantes irem embora, graças a Deus sem atirar em ninguém, os funcionários foram muito solícitos até que finalmente chegamos no quarto, extremamente assustados (minha filha principalmente), mas chegamos. A minha crítica veemente vai para a administração do hotel: como que um hotel que fica quase que na frente do aeroporto de Congonhas mantém o estacionamento com a porta fechada justo no horário mais perigoso? Nos foi dito que precisaríamos parar em frente ao portão e buzinar para abrirem, informação que além de não estar descrita em nenhum lugar previamente, não traz nada de segurança, pois o assalto facilmente aconteceria do mesmo jeito. É inadmissível, absurdo isso acontecer!!! Nós jamais voltaremos nesse hotel, até mesmo pelo trauma psicológico, mas principalmente pela falta de segurança! Aliás, não havia ao menos 1 segurança na porta quando chegamos! Deu 5 minutos de todo o ocorrido, e um casal chegou e fez exatamente o mesmo que nós, ou seja, poderiam também ter sido assaltados. Péssima gestão no referente a tudo que descrevi, o que o torna um local extremamente inseguro e perigoso! Escolham outro hotel, não se submetam a esse risco, eles não levaram em consideração nem a presença de criança pequena (inclusive apontaram a arma em um momento para a minha esposa e filha)... Portanto, todos os hóspedes desse hotel estão sujeitos a esse terror!

Eu fui com a minha mãe pra São Paulo, e é bem difícil achar um bom hotel com boa localização, principalmente seguro. Nós gostamos muito dessa opção. É um hotel mais antigo mas desde a recepção tivemos um ótimo atendimento, hotel limpo, quarto super amplo, cama deliciosa, chuveiro maravilhoso, e com relação a localização todo mundo disse para tomar cuidado, mas não vimos nada nem tivemos nenhum problema. O café da manhã é servido no hotel da frente DELICIOSO
