The sheets where dirty. We found bugs in the bed, the hot water didn’t work and the carpeted floors where sticky. We drove all night and ended up taking a nap in the parking lot so we could rest and find a different hotel in the morning. The lady at the front desk wasn’t very accommodating and when I asked for the manager she pretended to call some one repeatedly. I could see on her phone it was the Home Screen and not the call screen. I asked for a refund and all she would say is the manager will call me back, but has yet to do so, and when I call they pretend like they don’t have a record of me staying at the hotel. If I could rank this less then 1 star I would. Not even worth half a star. I would be embarrassed to have my name on that building.

My vehicle was broken into.. Catalytic Converters stolen sometime during the night.. Vehicle was parked in front of Front Door. No Security, No Security Cameras ( thought this was standard practice at all businesses ?? Not the Hotels Fault.. Things happen. Lisa ( Hotel Manager ) Insisted I call th Police to file a report for Insurance purposes.. In fact, she actually called the Police and started the report for me.. I'm glad she did because after I got a quote for Catalytic Converters ( $6,000 ) I freaked .. She told me I needed a Police report for Insurance purposes.. I was going to write it off as .. things just happen but hanks to Lisa and LaQuinta,, My Insurance Co will cover most if not all of the cost. .. They still need Security and Cameras.. Charge for Parking to off-set the cost but do it for your Customers Safety and Piece of Mind.

I initially posted a review but had to remove it and provide an update. I stayed at this hotel for only one evening. I was in Houston for work and when I returned to my hotel room, all items I had in the room that were not in a closet or drawer were gone. In total, it was over $430 worth, including my gym shoes, apple magsafe charger, food, and toiletries. I informed the front desk and my experience with Lenice was absolutely horrible. No empathy at all for someone who had just had most of their day-to-day items taken and she was extremely rude. I cut the stay short and went to another hotel and filed a police report. It has taken 72 hours of me calling the hotel and IGH's corporate office to find out that anyone who went in the room denies seeing anything in there and I have to wait for the police to investigate. The corporate office has been no help. I'll never stay at another IGH hotel.
