Recent stayed at Hout Bay Packers. Found the manager to be doing a good job running a good team there Staff was friendly and respectfull. Accomadation was clean Very nice location. Was never noisy . And very calm experience . Few backpakers ive visited around Cape Town last few years i can honestly say Hout Bay B.P. comes out ontop .

Best backpackers in the Southern Cape. This place is perfectly situated. It overlooks Hout Bay with stunning 270 degree views. The staff are super friendly, efficient and on the ball. This place is more than a back packers. Its a lodge for families too. Don't give up the opportunity to stay here!

Very clean and a good sea view. Love it. Nice location and friendly people. Will go there very soon. No load music. Nice an qauet . Good place to relacks and to enjoy the see. Near by eeting places, and market.

Was the best sleep i had in a while. So peaceful 😁. Found it a bit difficult to manoeuvre my vehicle with the trailer on but we made it work 😀. Thanks 🙏🏼 for the awesome customer service 🙂. Will definitely come back again to enjoy the "tranquility". Thank You 😊

As a regular in this establishment I come here often due to my line of work. It's a very neat quiet place to stay,great location. Service is great and rooms are mostly clean one of the reasons I keep coming back,area of improvement will the wifi connection at room 8.

The staff were really helpful. Rooms where always clean. It would have been nice to have ample backup lighting during loadshedding. The manager Tristan was really helpfull when I couldnt get an uber, she organized a driver for me, really appriciated that.

There are all conditions for a comfortable stay - there is a refrigerator, TV, tea/coffee making facilities, a safe, a terrace, a kitchen equipped with a microwave, a gas stove, a toaster. Cleaning - every day. You can take a walk around the grounds and in the garden. Each guest will have internet access, you can upload photos, send a file or call your family by video. If you have a car, you can leave it in the parking lot. If you get there on your own, they will help you arrange a transfer. Within walking distance of the beach, shopping centers,seafood market, restaurants, cafes, public transport. If you are traveling to Cape Town alone and want to meet people, Hout Bay Backpackers is the best choice. In addition, South African hiking, by and large, is concentrated in the Western Cape Province, in the vicinity of Cape Town, here. My gratitude to the staff of the hostel, especially the manager Tristan, for solving the non-standard situation with payment and language problems. The room was very large and pleasant, it was cozy and clean.The hotel team was friendly. The location of the hotel is close to the sea and restaurants. I would recommend the hotel to others having a family or couple trip. I would like to advise the hotel team to put shampoo in the bathroom.
